Born in 1965, I'm a third generation Oregonian. SAHM with one in highschool and a much younger homeschooler. I like to figure out how stuff works, mechanically, chemically, socially. I also take stuff apart and put it back together, like the plumbing and I've built a few bicycles.

Elvis Costello, U2, Chumbawumba, Annie Lennox, Lene Lovitch, Red Hot Chile Peppers, Police, Wipers - if it was on college radio in the late 80's I probably like it. Early electronic music ie Tomita, Jean Michelle Jarre'. Some 60's stuff like Jefferson Airplane, Moody Blues, the Doors, the Beatles.

Bladerunner, Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence, Total Recall, I Heart Huckabies, Repo Man, Tombstone, Moulin Rouge, Great Escape, Zeferelli's Romeo and Juliet, Bizet's Carmen, anything with Carey Grant, Katharine Hepburn, Irene Dunne, Claudette Colbert, Vincent Price, and most things by Miyazaki.

Buffy, DS9, Battlestar Gallactica, House,Kolchak the Night Stalker, Dr. Who, Project Runway, Firefly, Life on Mars, Veronica Mars, Boston Legal, Deadwood, Homicide, Antiques Roadshow, Bargain Hunt, Keeping Up Appearances, Upstairs Downstairs, the 1900 House. Oh, and I watch Jericho, but I don't respect it.

I have a picture of myself receiving a sewing machine for christmas when I was two. Though I no longer have that machine, I have 4 others and I know how to use them. I also knit and crochet. Calligraphy, collage, eraser carving, and rubber stamping. I love ATCs because I can use all of my 'mad skillz' in small scale projects and it's social!
