I'm a 51 yr old doll maniac with more of a love of vinyl . I started loving the Fishe Price My Friend dolls when my first adopted daughter and I found them. She was 12 when she moved in, so we enjoyed making clothes for them. She lost interest , so I got her Mandy and my Jenny. After that I just had to have them all. Now I have about 40 washed and needing care plus I think 8 MIB and 2 full sets with original outfits for playing with PLUS a Jenny with short cropped hair which represents my daughter Amy in our play doll group. We love to dress our Friends in simple, school and play type outfits in bright colors. Outfits that are easy to manage make it easy for Amy to play with mom. We like all kinds of things but fru fru , lace and intricate buttons don't go over well, nor do tight elastic at the waist for Amy.

Christ Centered, Celtic, Early American Grassroots and classical are more my favorites. Violin, fiddle, dulcimer and woodwinds playing upbeat tunes keep my house a bit cleaner.They help me feel like moving. LOL

Romance, clean family fun, recent favorite is Pride and Prejudgudice(I should have looked up that spelling. : ( ). Sense and sensibility was a good one too.

I think I loved Thirty something, Felicity , Frazier and Mad About You .

I love them all but more recently I love carving small Hitty type dolls, sewing of course, Knitting on a knitting machine, making Bleuette dolls and using stamps in making greating cards, shrink art buttons, paper bead jewelry and whatever else crosses my nose. ggg
