47, SAHM (for now), married, grandmother to 18 mo. old beautiful girl, mother of 3 (22yr girl, 15yr girl, 12yr boy), live in the country for 10 yrs now, love my jack russell terriers (5) and one tiny chihuahua girl. Like reading mystery, crime, tru crime books, magazines like country living, m. stewart, remodeling, home deco, etc. I love birds, eggs, nests and use them in my crafts alot. Have a collection of real birdnests collected from my property. Like the look of rusty iron work items, fences, gates, even small little rusty items like handles, hinges, etc. Love old stuff from pre-1940's like vintage advertisements, posters, photos, letters, small nic-nacky things. Like country colors (like the martha stewart colors), esp. greens, blues, whites, with small amounts of country reds, yellows, black mixed in decor items. I like the shabby chic look but I keep it to small decorative items, since hubby is not fond of it, and white furniture is not very practical with my dogs (and we live where there is red dirt).

pretty much anything (except rap), w/ teenagers at home, pretty much forced to listen to top pop tunes, but enjoy pop country (not twangy, except like patsy cline), occassionally listen to classical, like "old school" like motown, etc.

don't watch much t.v. but like discovery channel, history channel, HGTV etc. love to watch the real crime shows, medical shows, surgery, etc. I do like to watch "ghost hunters" on Sci-Fi channel, "house hunter's", "sell this house" etc. on HGTV.

right now I'm totally into collage, altered art, mixed media, atc's, etc. I love using rubber stamps, old papers/ephemera, vintage photos, victorian, pretty much anything in them. I rarely used store bought items, except some craft papers like "basic grey" type vintage looking ones and sometimes chipboard letters. I've done quilting, sewing kids clothes and house items, pillows, curtains, etc. love to collect old fabric, like feed sacks, vintage prints from 20's - 40's, old lace and ribbons, vintage velvet ribbon, etc. I've done wood working making little hanging crafts, xmas crafts, shelves, etc.
