I came to swap-bot after a friend told me about it and it sounded like fun. About me.... I'm 29 and I have twins boys who are 3 this summer. I am an online college student. I live in my home town which is in rural Colorado. I love being part of the community. I have and love dogs and cats. I love living in the country. When I try to describe my personal style I use words like hippy, vintage, retro, bohemian, mellow... Getting mail is great! Some of the specific crafty stuff may not be useful for me right away...I am a little bit crafty in random ways. I like getting stuff in the mail so I won't put many limits on my preferences until I know more about the swapping.

I am an avid reader. Right now I am devouring Agatha Christie. Before that it was J.D. Robb, before that it was Nora Roberts and before that it was Janet Ivanovich. I have always kept some classics around. Fairytales, Anne of Green Gables, Little Women. I loved the Harry Potter series and I read the whole Lord of the Rings trilogy out loud to my boys when they were babies.

I adore old movies and old actors. Classic movies and classic actors are some great entertainment that I don't get to indulge in very often anymore. The kids just won't watch them. :) If I had the time I would catch more of them on TCM or AMC. I've always enjoyed knowing the background of the old movies and actors also. It gives the viewer so much more depth when watching the movies.

Foodnetwork, totally. I like to cook and I really enjoy watching some of the foodie programs to get ideas and just to see all of the wonderful things they use.

Magazines! I love gorgeous magazines. Homes, food, fashion...Country magazines. I hope to find a swap related to them some day! Gorgeous photos and high-end products really keep me glued to the pages.

This is a good place to list preferences. :)

I prefer not to get religious things. Or, super specific crafty stuff. I don't think I could find a use for those brass tack thingys.
