Nature loving city dweller with interests ranging from aeronautics to zoology – really, I’m an information junkie and curious about almost everything. Some that will always absorb my attention: animals, the ocean, things celestial (stars, moons, etc., not angels), architecture, native cultures, environment/ecology. My background and heart are in the theatre, and these days I work on movies. Even without cable I watch way too much television (in my defense, a fair amount of PBS) but am also an inveterate reader. I put a lot of time and thought into the things I make, and my taste and style run from straightforward to vintage to whimsical...but never cutesy.

Almost anything except head-bangy, acid, etc., also not a fan of rap -- otherwise, everything else from from rock to classical to country; particularly fond of off-beat, original, humorous, intelligent songwriting; musical theatre; popular songs from the 20s and 30s; western swing

Broadcast News; The Princess Bride; Brazil; The Great Escape; Citizen Kane, The More the Merrier, Sullivan's Travels; all the classics from the 30s and 40s, especially screwball comedies

Lost; 30 Rock; The Simpsons; Craig Ferguson; Arrested Development; Firefly; St. Elsewhere; MASH

Most anything that involves paper; rubber stamping; crochet; polymer clay; photography
