I love crafting and swapping. Little things make me happy. Jack Johnson, gummy candy and my pets make me happy. Pitbull and deer themed items also put a smile on my face. I also love Abraham Lincoln, the Yankees, RVing, and aprons.
Bluegrass. Far and away this is the only music that can always, always put a smile on my face. Something about the banjo. . . Also, Bob Dylan and Jack Johnson are pretty good at keeping me smiling. There isn't much I won't listen too. I have a few favorites in the old school Hip Hop genre, same goes for classic rock, even country now thanks to the Hubs.
First and foremost reading is about my most favorite hobby, so with me sometimes it is quantity over qaulity. I always try to have 2 books handy, incase I finish one unexpectedly. I was a little late on the Harry Potter train, but now I am OBSESSED. Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut, Tim Sandlin, David Sedaris, and Dave Eggers are my favorite authors. I will also love everything by S.E. Hinton for life. Since I have pretty much read every book by each of these authors it is best to use these as inspiration for suggestions rather than solicitation for actual books from these authors.
Veronica Mars! Also love Breaking Bad, Dexter, Arrested Development, and It's Always Sunny. Desperately seeking something new and exciting.
All crafts? I'm a crafting fool. Card making, mosaics, embroidery, and knitting are my current faves. My husband just started working with resin so I'm going to give that a shot too. I like turning stuff into something, so a lot of my crafts probably just fall into the repurposeing category.
Writing Supplies - Letter sets, note cards, and stationary. I've just started to get into Kawaii, I like anythings vintage... do not so much like licensed cartoony images (Looney Tunes, Disney, that sort of thing) for my stationary. Fun US stamps that have not been used. Intersting envelopes, I don't mind if there is no matching paper Washi/deco tape Gel pens Stickers, again no licensed product (Sanrio branded is ok, but not licensed reproductions), no holidy, but fun Kawaii or neutral stuff (stars, animls, etc) are eagerly accepted :)
I'm planning 100 projects for 2013 because I have been super unmotivated lately. I'll be needing some supplies, so any help is appreciated ;) Some needs are: buttons
yarn bits for a scrappy scarf. at least 6 inches each.
charms for charm bracelets for my neices/sister. ages 9, 6, 4 and 26. the girls will be easy, pretty much anything works for one of the 3. the sister is more specific - birthstones for the kids or hers, things that represent the kids (basketball, cheerleader, football, track) her husband is a cop, New Orleans or Louisianna. really anything would good cause that is home for us. Basically anything I could put to use for someone.
card stock
clock movements
Other stuff:
I like useful things. The Hubs and I live in a tiny place and don't have room for much.
decorative kitchen towels, aprons, wall art in any themes listed in my profile, love customized t shirts, fun necklaces. ears aren't pierced though, and I prefer to wear just my wedding ring on my fingers.
Just general loves that don't fit one category or item: HARRY POTTER!! Anything Harry Potter is a plus, Buffalo, nail polish, and gummy candy!!
Love pink, green, and blue the best. There aren't any specific colors that I do not like.
As far as tastes/scents/flavors go I DISLIKE cucumber VERY much. I don't like powdery scented anything (always makes me feel like I am chocking). Not a dislike, but if you are sending candy treats you might want to reconsider chocolate as I live in FL and as I type this in Mid January the temp outside is 75 degrees!
