About Me

Hi! I'm in my late 30's, married, no kids, living in western Washington state. I work at home with my husband on our business, Woolpets. We make needle felting kits. I also have four sheep, two dogs, a cat and some chickens. Before I was a full-time needle felter, I was involved with Waldorf education as a pre-school teacher. I had a home daycare for 6 years. (That's why my hubby and I decided not to have kids! Having a day care is good birth-control). I love anything handmade and hope to meet lots of great people here on Swap-Bot.

Favorite Crafts

Needle felting, knitting, crochet, sewing and doll making.

Favorite Movies

"Best in Show" and "Fargo" . I love the Coen brothers.

Dislikes

Anything fantasy related (Harry Potter), Disney, video games, sports, day-glow colors, plastic.

Favorite Books

Reading the Bolyen series by Phillipa Gregory. I also enjoy non-fiction on social issues.

Favorite Colors

Earthy colors, browns, rich greens and reds, purples and gold. Warm colors.

Likes

Animals, toys, children's book illustrations, nature, Japanese craft books.
