Christmas Eve and Day were also much warmer than usual here - we didn't even have to wear a jacket - I have never seen a winter like that in this part of Canada in my life. Of course, on December 29th, Mother Nature sent us 12" of snow to make up for it. lol Thank you for the Christmas cake photo - we don't have those kinds of cakes here. To us, a Christmas cake is full of dried fruits and covered in marzipan - but I like your fun cakes! Happy New Year to you and yours! (";)
