Comment: Dear Chiayu!
I've just received your card!
It is nice movie poster card and I would like to watch it!
You didn't mentioned It was sent from Nepal! That explains why it was so slow. Many Thanks to you, this is my first card from Nepal <3
Hope you had a great time there (or still having)!
Comment: Thank you very much for the beautiful postcard of the Himalayas that you sent me, it's great ... I'm not a fan of adventure either, I also prefer to know the people, culture and history of each place I visit ...
Greetings from Chile!
Comment: Belated, belated thank you for this stunning The Light Between Oceans card -- I had wanted to read and then see this, especially because I love Rachel Weisz's and Alicia Vikander's work -- the gorgeous postage, and your wonderful message and beautiful handwriting :) I am glad Nepal has varied philatelic offerings, too :) I hope you are also having a good spring; it's always a good mail day when I receive a card from you!
Comment: It is always such a joy to get a PC from you and this one is no exception - I love it! I thoroughly enjoyed reading your of your travels and how you came to find this PC. . . and so interesting to see the stamps of Nepal. Thank you so much and hope to see you again in future swaps ~~
Comment: The pie sounds yummy, I do love pastries! I'm glad it is only named after ox tongue and doesn't contain any! Lol. I was once tricked into trying cow tongue in Belgium...I live to tell but it really is NOT my thing!
Comment: What a cool PC! Thank you for taking the time to write out a nice note. Many people don't! Thanks for teaching me about the Warli people, & about drinking in Taiwan. This is certainly one of my favorite postcards now. Cheers!!
Comment: What a wonderful card and stamps! Thank you very much. All the info you wrote was great too--best of luck on your work being done in Nepal - it is a very fascinating country (and Taiwan is too!).
Comment: Really funny! It reminds me of a rabbit I once had. We brought home a balloon from a party(one blown up by human, hot helium) and when the bunny hopped by it um, was attracted to the ballon, which was about it's size. I'll leave it at that!
Comment: OH WOW - what an interesting swap - thank you! I loved hearing all about you! I would love to travel to your side of the world and see the Buddhist Temples and just generally see all the sights. Thank you again for a great swap xx
Comment: Thank you very much for the beautiful postcard of the Himalayas, the view is really amazing ... and thank you also for writing interesting data and a beautiful date, I thank you from the heart ... Merry Christmas!
Comment: Yes, yes, yes! I just LOVE fruit jam/marmelade! I enjoy to make my own. I have serveral different homemade ones: strawberry mixed with raspberry, pineapple, grape and pumpkin mixed with orange. I always eat it on toast with a slice of cheese on top. Thanks for the beautiful card, and the awesome stamp from Nepal :-)
Response: Cheers to jam/marmalade/fruit sauce, etc...! I love them, too. Yum! :}
We like to mix it with cold tea or turn into fruity drink. Very refreshing taste.. :}
Comment: Thank you for the erotic stone carvings from Nepal postcard! hahaha yes I wonder what the mailman thinks sometimes lol. I have not yet received the PC from the NYUP that you mention on this card but I will be looking for it and will let you know when I receive. My I wonder what THAT one has on it HAHAHA! How exciting you are in Nepal, I would really like to travel there one day. Have a wonderful day...Namaste!
Response: Thanks for the heart.
I'm glad the card has safely arrived! Namaste, too.. :)
Comment: Thank you for another lovely handmade card from Nepal. As I mentioned last time, I lived several years in India so this form of art is both familiar and dear to me.. I am curious as to why you are in Nepal -- work? travel? other? Thank you again for a very special card and wonderful postage stamps.
Comment: Namaste! Your wonderful postcard from Nepal arrived today. Thank you very much. I lived in India for several years & the image on the card is reminiscent of villagers at work there too. I like that quote by Steinbeck as well. Thanks again.
Comment: Thank you very much! These are all delightful cards. My very favorite is the Mithila art card - I had to immediately add that to my profile as one of my favorites for postcard swaps! I also love the black and white photos of the Nepali children. One of my best friends used to live in Katmandu so it was very nice to see Nepal images.
Comment: Thank you for the music adcard. My summer has been great. Hope yours too! Just coming back from my holiday in the UK...it still feels like summer: We have sunshine and 25°C. Have a sunny day! :)
Comment: Thank you for always taking the time and care to write me a thoughtful letter-like postcard :) I loved the weight and feel of your card's paper, the postage, and your wonderful reminder to always be grateful. The Dr. Seuss quote was also familiar from it being the class quote at my high school. Hope you are having a good weekend!
Comment: Thank you for the photo pc of the Nepalese girls! They look shy to have their photo taken. That is cool postage with how to be safe during an earthquake! Kinda funny but helpful. Love the other postage too with more sights to see from Nepal!
Comment: That bath is fantastic! I love all the carved Buddha statues around the edge and down the sides if the bath. The postage is cool, too, especially how they say the name of the national park and temples/monuments on them!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful Nepal postcards!! The stamps are wonderful too. My first from Nepal! I hope you're having a great trip. It would be a dream to go there!! I love to travel too especially to big cities and beaches - but I have a list of places I'd like to go that's a mile long, ha ha!! The envelope and contents were in good condition. Thanks so much!!!!!! : )
Comment: Thanks again for your patience, I'm sure this probably arrived on the first day or two of my vacation! What a beautiful temple and reflections in the lake. The history of the lake is very interesting, thanks for sharing it with me. Your postage is always so interesting, too!
Comment: Thanks for your patience with my late rating,! That is one fantastic interior! Are those dancers posing or statues? Very colorful and would perk up the attitude of anyone traveling and feeling stressed!
Comment: Thanks for the awesome pc! It was beautiful (I love any sort of Art PCs!!) and I just moved to a new apartment and bought some new picture frames so I think I'll be putting it on my wall! I read all of Malcolm Gladwell's books in the last couple of years... I don't always agree with what he writes but he always makes me think and I enjoy reading his writing. Great recommendation! :D
Comment: Another wonderful choice! I love getting to know you through your wonderful notes and cards. Thank you for always making my day with your superb mailings and thanks for always participating! Hugs, my friend!
Comment: What a beautiful postcard you sent me! I loved the design , very colorful and cheerful. Thanks for the post .
If you want to give me postcards, tea or whatever you want , let me know and I will happily exchange with you.
Hugs and kisses for you.
Comment: Thank you Chiayu for the lovely postcard. It must be very interesting inside the hot spring museum. I love the red stamp on the postcard too. Thank you for all the information. I enjoyed reading it. I hope to visit your contry someday. Take care my friend â¤
Comment: Thank you. I truly enjoyed going through your playlist. I listened to and/or watched a video for each selection (when available). I'll definitely be adding some new material to my IPOD. Thanks for sharing!
Comment: Who would have thought I would learn something from an offensive postcard? It was nice to learn this fact about your culture. Of course, to me, it's very cute with the dog in the trunk (or engine maybe since it looks like one of those old micro buses) with the guys. It's funny our differences. And is that sushi washi tape? I love it. 💜
Response: Yes, it's 'sushi' washi tape! You're the first to notice it's 'sushi'. :}
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful garden nestled among the mountains card (I liked the caption's reminder of the eternal beauty of nature), Year of the Monkey and fruit postage, and for sharing with me that moment of beauty and stillness :)
Comment: Thank you for the private swap. we will have to do it again. Love both magnets and the extra card you send. Yes that should be a postcard Definitely!. Thanks for your note enjoyed reading tit. Also Love how you make the notations on everything you send. If possible - for future swaps try not to send multiviews. I onl like the single vies on postcards.
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful card and of course, a bit of information about you. Among my favorite sunrise/sunset quotes:
'May every sunrise bring you hope; may every sunset bring you peace.
Comment: Thank you so much for the wonderful things you had chosen based on the word TOY :) I especially love the Taipei metro and Taiwan mapcard - great that you explain a bit about them â¤ï¸ It's fun to see the 1,000 TWD note although I wish I get the real one :P What a bright yellow smile that I couldn't help from smiling when I see it ;) I like the stamps on the envie too. Thanks dear~
Comment: Hello Dada!
Thank you for this PC!! I LOVE WInnie the Pooh and I have NO poscards of him! now I Do!! Thank you!
YES NEVER GIVE UP and team work is best.. always!!
Hugs and have a lovely weekend!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely card, the beautiful poem, and the nice little protective sleeve. It's always so much nicer when the cards don't arrive all marked and scuffed from the sorting machines :)
Comment: hello, thank you for great selection, i love the map especially, it is so lovely. Your toy bill where you wrote the message is very cute. I used to work few years in exchange office and we had TWD also for exchange but very rarely:)). Hope you have chance to visit Czech Republic one day.
Thank you for the bookmark too:), my son will love it:)
Comment: Thank you so much for the card from Taiwan. I appreciate the way you put the stamps on the card. We are VERY humid here too. It felt like it was 101 degrees yesterday b/c of the humidity of over 80%. Whew!
Comment: What wonderful PCs you sent for this swap - thank you so very much!! The touristy ones of Taipei and the landlocked lake are breathtaking, and the Oolong tea one is such fun :-) The non-touristy PCs are great -- I'm sending the Coca-Cola polar bear one to my son who lives in Maine (he collects polar bear 'stuff'), and the message in the bottle PC is so unique. I'm glad you told me what the symbols mean but it is certainly a pretty card even if I didn't know what it said! I found the 2-person postage stamp so interesting and thank you so much for explaining it to me - it is always so interesting for me when I learn new things about other countries and/or cultures. Thanks again for a wonderful selection and for your lovely notes explaining everything to me. . . I hope to see you in more swaps in the future.
Comment: Thank you, thank you, thank you for the wonderful Fragonard card -- this is one of my favorites, and I have it on a paperback journal :) -- colorful postage, and great rubber stamped images as well as your fun writing prompts!
Comment: Thank you for the bookmark .. always fun to stumble over different things and make use of it ... :) Enjoy the mango season ... ( here it is closing in for Strawberry season .... juicy red sweet berries .....
Comment: Thank you very much for the yummy card of mango shaved ice :D I'm fasting right now and this card makes me hungry >.< I love mango and the hot weather here definitely makes me want to eat something cold. Lovely fruit stamps and cool special postmark :D Thanks for choosing such a fantastic card for me!~
Comment: Wow! What a unique and beautiful collection of B cards! They're all so great but the hot air balloon one is just my absolute favorite it's so cool with the little picture slide in it. And I love going to hot air balloon festivals too. Thanks so muchðŸ˜
Comment: Thank you so much for your wonderful email! I very much enjoyed getting to know you a little bit! I got hungry while I was reading you talk about all the wonderful food you make! I have had Vietnamese spring rolls made by hand and they were the best I have ever had!!! I wish I could give you more then just one heart, because I really liked your email! Hope you have a stupendous day!!
Comment: Thank you for sharing! I really enjoyed listening to your music, even though I did not understand a word of what was said/sung. I love hearing music from around the world. :-) Thank you also for sharing the information you shared. I appreciated it! :-)
Comment: Hello! I rec'd your pkg on May 24/16. I can't believe how fast it arrived as it says you mailed it on May 12/16! Thank you for such an informative letter and explanation of the postcards - very appreciated. I especially love the pineapple PC. Do they have PC's like that with watermelons on them? If they do, I'd love to do a private swap with you :) I also like that you wrote my name with symbols!! Thanks again.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely Christmas card/postcard with the blue bird on it. I like you wrote some words in Tiawanese, the fruit and flower stamps, and your interesting note. I hope to swap with you again in the future.
Thank you SO much! This is my very favourite postcard I have ever gotten!! <3 I love the little "window" which shows the windmill! I LOVE THIS!!
The prompts are AWESOME!
I will not have writer's block for a long time!
Hugs from USA!!
Comment: Thanks for song list. I quite like Jolin Tsai - Love Love Love ^-^.
Love Me Like You Do – by Ellie Gouldig/Titanium – by *David Guetta & Sia/ & Viva La Vida - by Coldplay my favourites ^-^. I send my playlist in return x
Comment: Thank you for a great batch of cards for this swap. I loved all of them. It was a pleasure to get from someone from a country I have had not much contact with. I have an extensive postcard collection and a big wish list of different types of but if you are ever a partner of mine gain you may gladly send me any sites of Taiwan as I believe i only have one card, besides what you just sent. Thank you very much
Comment: Just got your lovely tea package & your mail today :) Thank you so much for those special teas! Never got such tea before and can't wait to try them. Thank for explaining everything so nicely! Have a wonderful day <3
Comment: I love the cards - I've never had any in Chinese. I love all things Asian. I've become addicted to Korean dramas, Chinese movies and Japanese movies and manga. I love seeing how other cultures behave.
Comment: Thank you so much for the fascinating B&W PC of the closed mine in your country. We have several closed mines also in the US including the largest gold mine in the US (in Lead, South Dakota). The era of mining and the people who worked in the mines is fascinating. Thank you again for such a great B&W PC.
Comment: Thank you for sharing, Dada! I enjoyed your answers. :-) And LIVE Octopus? Really?! How intriguing! I had Octopus once upon a time: I lived in Vladivostok, Russia, for five weeks in the summer of 1995 and visited friends there for Thanksgiving, '95, too. On one of those visits, we visited a friend whose father had just come home from a trip to Korea and he brought frozen octopus home with him. And we got to try it! As I recall, it was good, but I like squid better. ;-) (And squid is easier - MUCH easier - to find here in the United States.) I wish I could try fresh Octopus, sushi would be good, but I've never seen any here. Maybe someday! Thanks again for sharing! :-)
Comment: Ni-Hao Dada! Got your AWESOME postcard from I loved the Limited Edition card because of the pc shape! I dont think i have ever had a pc that was not rectangular that i can remember! Better i check all the postcards to make sure. This one takes the cake! Very intriguing. From Japan Post!
Thank you so much and then all the great stickers showing some of the snack food from Taiwan. Loved all the great stamps and stickers that you so carefully placed! Just a great card and THANK YOU so much! Ill treasure this for a long time to come! By the way, why was the blank piece of paper that was metal clipped to the post card that appears to be a post date doing coming with the postcard? There appears to be Taiwanese writing with it!
Comment: Ahhhh! I wish I could give you a bushel of hearts -- this is probably one of my favorite cards of all time :) I had seen the design on eBay once. Thank you also for the great postage, washi, sticker, and your font-like handwriting. I always love comparing postboxes wherever I go, but I definitely think non-USA ones are cooler :) Tiramisu is also one of my favorite desserts -- so light on the tongue yet satisfying. Hope you are having a good week!
Comment: Another beautiful postcard. Thank you! I have heard of scoville units. Two years ago, we grew sweet peppers, habanero, and jalapeno peppers in containers. They all did very well. The Scotch bonnets were extremely hot (between 100,000 to 350,000 scoville units). That was the hottest I want to try lol!
Response: You're brave for tasting "fire on tongue"! (how some people would describe extremely hot pepper... :P)
Comment: What a great postcard with a train! Thanks also for the information about your favorite part I love desserts to cool Postage and Salvage around the postage that's really nice thanks for the Fun Swap!
Comment: Thank you for the great postcard! I'm so glad you included the translation. It is a bit sad, but there is a positive aspect - stand up and believe. Question what you are doing and be stronger than you are. Maybe that's just my take on it since I like to see the positive side. :-) Thank you! :-)
Comment: Hi Chiayu, Thank you for the beautiful heart postcard, bookmarks and nice stamps on your envelope. I enjoyed reading about your country's culture, and and history. that is one of my most favorite reasons to be a member of swap-bot.
Comment: I got your list, and it was a nice read! I don't care that it wasn't exactly what it was supposed to be - this was just as good! And all the little extra information was interesting, too, and the card was lovely. Thank you very much!
Comment: Thank you for the wonderfully vivid, detailed card and gorgeous postage! I have not yet been to Taiwain or Thailand but hope to one day soon, since I have family in southeast Asia :) Hope you have a good weekend!
Comment: Thank you for the really fantasic card and stamp of Taiwan. I do not have this in my collection till now, so thank you. Also thank you for the fact's of blue tears, totally love it and one day (I hope to travel to Taiwan) have a great 2016.
Comment: What an awesome envelope! I love your explanations of each card. My favorites are definitely the holographic Disney image from Tokyo Disneyland and the cat picture -- it reminds me of my sleeping kitty! I also love the lighthouse with the galaxy shot behind it. Often, you've got to take a lot of shots of the same area, then combine them using an editor to get the stars and colors to really stand out. It's hard work! Thank you for the cards (and the awesome propaganda bookmark)! ♥
Comment: Thank you, Dada!
This is a cute card of Tigger! :) I LOVE the stamps you put on the postcard!
Tigger is so cute! He is definitely one of my characters to see when we visit Disney World!
xo Have a lovely weekend!
Comment: Hello- thanks so much for the terrific swap! Your envelope alone was wonderful, so colorful and with a great assortment of stamps. The anime postcard with Mickey Mouse and all of the musical instruments is very special. I've never seen anything like it. But best of all are the tickets you sent along with the stories behind each ticket and trip! Fantastic! You're thoughtfulness is much appreciated. Many hearts to you, Dada.
Comment: Thank you for your beautiful postcard and note. I love the protection that you placed the postcard in . Do you know I actually use to hate using a camera that used film as figuring out the shutter speed was always so hard for me and my pictures always turned out so ugly. Hope you have a wonderful week and thank you again for the card =D.
Comment: Fish! What a lovely surprise! Haha I was so happy to see your handwriting and then got confused because of the Swap-bot / swap name - but even more so, such a great coincidence to reconnect again this way! I don't think I ever received that card from China you mentioned, but I'm glad to have your address again - expect something in your mailbox from me in the next weeks!
And also, wow, has it really been that long since we corresponded? I can't quite believe it!
Anyway, I'll talk to you soon, do take care! All the best!
Comment: Thank you so much. I love this postcard. I love when you are my partner! You always send such prettily decorated postcards, that are always really neat postcards. Thanks again and have a great day!
Comment: Thanks for the cool postcard and the explanation of what's going on in the photo. I love it! I don't know if you sent it in a clear plastic sleeve, but I'm happy (and amazed, to be honest) to report that the postcard arrived in the plastic sleeve!
Comment: Hi Dada: Thank you for the interesting postcard. I really like it and look forward to adding it to my pc collection. I hope you receive the two postcards (2 different swaps) that I sent to you soon, or better yet have already received them? Anyway, thanks again for the nice postcard. Happy Spring & Happy Swapping, Dada! :)
Comment: You are right, a love for mountains and nature is indeed something we've in common. Beautiful post card. I'm guessing that Via Rail runs thru and or over the Rocky Mountains, but I've never been on Via Rail to know where all it goes. Love for travel is another thing we have in common. Thanks for the great card.
Comment: Yay, you again! What a gorgeous PC - thank you so much! I think if I got to go to a place like that someday, my life would be complete, LOL! I thought it was sooooo beautiful! I love nature, as you noticed! Your stamps were LOVELY again - thank you so much :)
Comment: Thanks Dada! I agree with you about the Japanese AD cards... these are gorgeous. I've never been to Japan but I always make a point to go to the big Japanese festival here every year, and it seems to me that whatever they do, they do it artistically.
Oh, and I love the International Letter Writing Week postage stamp.
Response: Our country's AD cards are neat too. Many of ours are modeled after Japanese style.:)
Comment: Thank you for the cute frog pc! Wow it's so cool you saw frogs in a rainforest!!! We don't have rainforests here, we have toads in the summer though! They are everywhere after a rain storm on the roads
Comment: I have just received your postcard :)
Thank you very much it is very beautiful! Thanks for the translation to English of what is written there. And thank you for a cute stamp! Our winters are very cold, snowy and windy, the average temperature is about -30 C. And now there is snow, but in the heat of about -2 +4 C :)
Comment: Thank you for your postcard! Your handwriting on the back is really cute! :) Unfortunately, Google translate proved totally useless and I couldn't translate it. Could you please translate it for me? :)
Comment: Hi Dada! The second postcard arrived (the first one has not) and I do see the 'typo' ...Merry to Marry. I notice these kinds of translations on Asian items. I thought the unusual thing myself was that the red spheres have a flame, makes it look like fire bombs are falling. Anyways, I received, thanks for sending a second go of the swap! :)
Comment: Thanks for your card! And for the message. I was with my friend from Taiwan when I had it, so she translate it for me. I would love to see the flowers you are talking in your message. I don't have any favorite season. I like all of them ;-) Thanks again and have a good day.
Response: Good to have someone to translate it!^_^ It saves lots of troubles placing those words onto online translator...
Comment: Hi Dada! I just LOVE the postcard you sent with all the information about your town and little town. I live in a small town, too, but not as small as yours. Thank you for the great card and all the pretty stickers & stamps you put on it. It was a pleasure having you for a swap partner! Thanks again, and Happy Swapping! :)
Comment: Wow!!! Thank you so much for your generous swap :-) I LOVE all items!! I want to send you ten hearts!!
Both my sons are adopted from China and they both received a red envelope upon leaving, so I learned about that custome before.
Thank you very much.
Lots of greetings, Kirsty in the Netherlands
Comment: This swapper sent me a postcard from a popular country in Asia, talked about the country extensively, stamped the city's name in a decorative stamp on the card, then sent me an email DEMANDING that I remove the name of the country from my extremely appreciative and glowing rating, even though there was no mention of her "privacy" concerns in her profile at the time. This was an overly dramatic response to my cheerful rating.
Response: Please re-read the swap-requirement for this particular swap, and the rules under swap-bot. If this swapper dislikes partners writing about the postcard sent, then he/she initially should reconsider participating in the swap. Yet this swapper not long after receiving the card, changed the original rating and comment he/she gave. Then, intentionally put an insult and exaggeration as above. Privacy respect is a basic moral, and common sense. According to this swapper's logic indicated above, if morals and basic norms aren't mentioned as concerns under profiles, then others don't need to follow it? This is a rather strange logic. In this swapper's original profile, he/she made statements about online courtesy, but apparantly, this 'rule' only applies to other swappers. Further, in this swapper's original comment under the rating for this swap, he/she asked whether to 'mention it or not', and as a courtesy, a reply was sent to him/her via PM. The message wasn't a demand, but a request and concern. The response followed from this swapper indicated a strong resistence towards communication, understanding, proper attitude and respect between partner/swappers. It included mention of do not try to communicate further. To ensure I didn't misunderstand this response and its tone, I consulted with an English speaker on the content, and also, on my PMs to this swapper. It's unfortunate that communication with this swapper turned out difficult and impossible. Those who read this, one can judge for oneself whether the comment above is appropriate or not. Obviously, there's no cheerful and glowing rating. What's the sin of meeting swap requirement and attempt to communicate with partners?
Comment: Thank you for the great PC. Happy Lunar New Year to you too!! I love your resolutions. My boyfriend and I have been going more organic since last year, we even did a ten day juicing fast. It really is so much better for you!! We have been learning to grow our own food too. Some of my resolutions were to smile and laugh as much as possible. Cheers =)
Response: Smile and Laugh are healthy for the soul! ^_^
Comment: Sounds amazing! Enjoy cooking the new recipes and going to the farmer's markets! I made a few fun resolutions. One is to grow a beautiful garden this year, one is to take a dip in the pool whenever it is a warm day (even if it's just for a few minutes), and another is to get better at doing my own nails and try some funky nail art!
Comment: Dada: Thank you for the very unusual map cards. I was really looking forward to receiving from you and was not diisappointed. I appreciate the explanations. I will keep your note with the postcards.. Thanks again. Joy
Comment: I wish I could give you more stars!!!! I LOVE your postcard and poem. 1. My husband loves Gundams and has a huge collection from overseas. He also has the uncut DVD's LOL 2. The poem is perfect for me to send to a friend that is going through a hard time right now. Thank you!!! It is amazing how peoples paths cross for a purpose. Fun SWAP!! You made my day!
Comment: ooohhh, someone from taiwan! i've been waiting for a postcard from there. hehe. loving the postcard AND the quote you picked too! have a good one. (ps. i'm always looking for new pen pals. :D)
Comment: Thank you very much for lovely letter. I hope to answer soon, I love the set you sent me, around here things are not well, and on the scoreboard and ... Wow! Absolutely beautiful. 'll Hear from me soon <3
Comment: Extra hearts. I don't see any bad cards though haha I just love them all. So exciting thank you!
Response: Happy to hear that you see them as all 'good'! :) I love hearts.
~~Well, 'bad' isn't necessary due to how the images appeared. It could be the meanings. Regardless, I'm glad you like them all, and find the goods in them!
Comment: I agree! A shower of cherry blossoms would be very romantic on Valentine's Day. I once had the pleasure of standing under the cherry trees in Washington, D.C., when they were in full bloom and it was amazing. Thank you for this beautiful postcard!
Comment: Thank you for the card. I guess the child artist's parent might buy many copies of this postcard. One of my grandchildren has a fundraiser where they sold postcards they created to all their relatives.I was happy for this swap, too--I could sent off some of my strange cards.
Comment: WOW, WOW, WOW, WOW! Thank you so so so so much for the Chinese New Year card and the postcard with the really fantastic quote about traveling. I am in awe. I wish I could give you MORE hearts! I am really excited to send you something in return! :)
Comment: Yet another day brightener! Yours is the first thing I open when I see your name! I loved it. That bookshop looks fantastic! Thank you for another great swap! I can't wait to see you again! :D
Comment: Got your winter P.C. today and thank you also for New Year Wishes. I would very much like to write you as pen pal. I love to get used stamps from your country. I have none of Taiwan and I am interested in your and yours. you can email me at
[email protected] thank you if you wish........
Comment: Girl, you definitely made my day better!! I loved everything, I can't even tell what is my favorite.. I love that mini notebook, so cute, and can't wait to try the chocolates! Yum! Thank you once again, you don't deserve just one heart - I would give ten to you if I could :)
Response: Thank you. :) I hope you'll enjoy tasting the chocalates. I recommend to have tea to go with it - a wonderful combo for teatime!
Comment: <3 <3 <3 I wish there was more hearts I could give you! This was such a great swap for me! I love each card you sent and the wonderful letter. Each one will stay in my collection forever! I can't wait to swap with you again! :D
Response: I love hearts, the real ones! Your message is one of those. Thank you. :)
Comment: Thank you! Please remember that not everyone has powerpoint, or feel safe opening zip files. That might get you into trouble with people that does not have Gmail at least, where everything is opened for you in Google web products. (it didn't look very good though... the text was all garbled here and there, but readable)
Response: Thanks for your notice. I will take note of this when swapping via email. However, please note that perhaps due to the different version of Microsoft Office we each used, that's likely the cause of why the text in .ppt file was garbled up. I didn't intend for it to be that way; it appeared all right when I emailed the file. As I'd mentioned in the email to all, if there was problem with reading the file, do notify me and I'll resend it . A couple of partners did email me, and I resent the file unzipped.
**Your further comments is received. As I mentioned in the last response, if there was problem with reading the file, partners should email me, and I'll resend it so that it could be read. Poor rating cannot be given simply because the receiver doesn't like the layout or format. Yes, people may use different OS. However, I've no way of knowing what type of OS the receivers used. If people are not satisfied with the file I sent. I could resend simply in an email text form (some partners sent the email via such). A few received 'Reasons for Love' in email text format wasn't aligned. I don't blame such on the senders, as format varies between different email providers. Thank you for your understanding. This is highly appreciated.
Comment: Thank you so much for the nice package! I adore the card with the drawing and poem!!! I will never be able to send it, as I want to keep it myself! Too bad you couldn't send me the real chocolate cake ;). Thanks!
Response: You could imagine the chocalate cake to be tasty and creamy in fudge~yum!!
Comment: It arrived today after we spoke. Wow! 2 Postcards! I am impressed, and loved reading them. Thanks ever so much! I certainly am interested in keeping in touch. I will contact you to get your address now.
Comment: When I first saw your postcard, I didn't get what was inappropriate about it, but then I read your message and thought, wow, I am lucky the people in the Chinese postal system didn't (couldn't) read what you wrote, or otherwise I might not have received it! Thank you so much!
Response: Glad to know the card has safely reached you! :) It wouldn't have been a problem departing from Taiwan Post. A risk this card had taken..!!
Comment: Hi Dada
Thanks for your card. I had yet visit Taiwan and will surely love to visit when there is an opportunity to. Will wanna to explore especially the country side and less touristy part of Taiwan..
There is a travel show on the TV every weekend here that features about Taiwan. All the nature out there looks so wonderful.. :)
May 2013 brings you strength, courage and wisdom to make any difficult decision and overcome any challenges. :)
Comment: Hi Dada, thank you for your postcard. I completely love the photo of the woman wearing her baby! I wore my babies too, but in cloth carriers rather than baskets. :) And, Christmas was a sweet time with family for us - thank you for asking. Happy 2013 to you!
