Comment: Thank you for the postcard. Wow that sounds like a lot, but I hope the knitting of the blankets go well. I would love to hear what colors you use. I have never knit before but it looks like a fun experience to try one day.
Comment: Oh what a wonderful card! I love it. First day cover too and my husband is drooling lol. I miss summer here. It needs to snow or spring needs to arrive! Thank you so much for such a nice card. I really love it!
Comment: Thank you so much for the cute card! The way things are going, I may be so tired come Christmas that I feel like climbing up into a tree and dozing off, just like the koala. :) Just kidding. Have a Merry Christmas!
Comment: This postcard is so cool. I have only seen them from here. Sadly I never saved one from here. Thank you VERY much. I have had a lovley day. My son and his girlfriend came to eat lunch with us. We don't get to see them often and tey are going on holiday Monday. BUT...they are spending Christmas with us!!! I hope you have a lovely day...
Comment: Jess, thank you for the fabulous maxi postcard. You have gotten my interest in "The Magic Pudding" book. I am going to see if I can order in the States for my granddaughter. Thank you again, Shirley
Comment: Thank you for the book recommendations. It doesn't seem like something I would enjoy, sadly, but I will still check out both the Australian authors as I like reading books from around the world. Thank you for sharing!
Comment: Cartoon characters I grew up with, cute. The background looks real. I would like to visit a place like that. We caught crabs with string and a bit of bacon fat. From a bridge like this growing up in Texas.
Comment: Thank you for the first paragraph of your story (I'll have to think about what to add to it next...) and the bookmarks. I think one can never have enough bookmarks. Good luck for your spring reading challenge! :)
Comment: Hi Jess, thank you so much for tge teddy bear themed maxi card! I love it. :) i researched the book you recommended and it has great rating and reviews. Definitely will get this book and read it soon. Thanks!
Comment: he he he, this postcard got wet somewhere along the way, no postage stamp and the ink has faded but I could read it, lol, I would like to see those birds in real life, I hope you all had a good time...
Comment: Got this swap! Thank you so much for the awesome extra Australia Postcard! I love all the different bits of Australia it shows! I'll never understand why people don't like "multiview" (or touristy) postcards! (P.S. I've had this for a bit. And I remember writing a rating, 'cause I looked up 9° C and wrote "Brrrrrrrr!" No idea why it didn't save! Many apologies!!!) (P.S.S. it's been 38°C here in Arkansas the past few days!)
Comment: Sorry for being slow to rate, I forgot to check my junk mail folder and found your email this morning! Thank you for the recommendation, that sounds like a facinating book and I enjoyed reading your thoughts on it.
Comment: I'm sorry it turned out to be a book you didn't like, but congrats for sticking with it. I'm curious about your complaint about it being written in the 3rd person...aren't MOST books written that way?
Response: Sorry I should have explained myself. The book changed from being written in the third person to being written as a story. Most books I read are just a storyear, so it was quite different to have it written in the third person then change to a story
Comment: Thank you Jessica for your very interesting answers. I enjoyed reading them. I also knit, but I enjoy crocheting much more. That's nice that you have a large family as mine is small. I have never been on a cruise but I have always wanted to go, maybe one day I will. I had my childhood friend Sue from kindergarden through high school. We lost touch after high school as every time she called my mother would tell her that I wasn't home and she assumed that I wasn't interested in a friendship anymore. Thankfully I was able to find her 30 years later. In the beginning we saw each other a lot, but now she is busy with work and other things and doesn't have time for me. We are still keeping in touch online and over the phone. I deal with stress by doing adult coloring. Have you ever tried that? That's awesome that you visit your pen pals. That's awesome that you will be attending your pen pals wedding. I've only visited one pen pal and it wasn't a good experience. We are no longer pals. On the other hand, I'm going to be visiting another pen pal. She seems really nice. We chat all the time.
Response: Adult colouring is something I'm looking into....just have to find the r u get colouring in book. Thanks for the suggestion. Have fun visiting your penpal!
Comment: Thanks for the recommendation, Jess! It is a book that I have not read, so I'm very appreciative. I'll be adding Unbreakable to my Goodreads To-Read shelf; it sounds good. And as a bonus, this book will work for a Spell-It-Out Challenge I'm doing. . .I need a lot of "U" books for the planets. *haha* So thank you!!!
Comment: What an extraordinary sunset - I love it. Thanks so much for the congrats. We are just getting back from an unexpected trip to help family and I will be on my way to see my older son soon. He moved 6 months ago to Portland, Oregon. After that it will be fairly quiet and I'm hoping to read some more Grisham books. Take care, Annette
Comment: Thanks for the great book review. I liked your opinion, on how interesting the book was in places and not so much in others. I thought this was a book I might want to read in the future, which is why I picked it for you to read.. Now I am pretty sure, I would love to read it l.
Comment: Thank you for the gorgeous owl card and smiley face sticker! I also love reading well-filled profiles. Glad to hear of your recent clean and cleanse -- I did one in January after reading Marie Kondo's first book, but I suspect that I wasn't thorough enough.
Comment: yummy, I will have to try them. I have never heard of putting cola on beef before. I also have never cooked lamb so I guess that is a good one to try too. thank you
Response: The cola on beef was a scary thought but it doesn't taste like it at all, My dad is a very picky eater and he LOVES it, definitely give it a try! And I am so glad that you have got some new recipes to try out :)
Comment: Hi Jess, thanks so much for card! Your four year old starting kindergarten is a huge milestone for both of you! I remember when ours went through it and it was tough for all of us. Take good care, Jane
Comment: Hi Jessica! Not sure what happened to that first email - computers are great when they play nice but sometimes.... LOL! Thank you for following up and sharing what you were reading - I always enjoy this! "Never Saw It Coming" seems like something I would really enjoy reading! I need to make a list this year of suggestions because I always THINK I will remember and of course do not! LOL! Thanks again! Hugs, Happy Reading and Swapping! ;)
Response: You sound like me. I get so many sggestions and forget to write them down. Maybe I will make a list on goodreads and actually try and follow it up.

hope the year 2016 bring you good health and always in happiness.
lots of love.
happy new year 2016.
Comment: Thank you for sharing pictures of your Christmas tree with me! I love that your ornaments are personalized :) I hope that your son is feeling better and it was so sweet to make him feel better with the tree. My favorite ornament on my tree has to do with my grandma too <3 You story about her was so touching and I feel the same, Christmas isn't the same without those you love but I am sure she is watching over you and your son this season! Have a very Merry Christmas and I hope 2016 brings many amazing things for you!
Comment: Sorry for the late reply, I already was on SB to rate when I got your email and then my brain decided to reroute and make me do something else >_> I love lemurs!! And now I remembered that I need to buy a new ladle since I just broke my old one and apparently it was the only one I had :D Thanks for the fun answers :)
Comment: Hello dear Jess! Thank you for the cool postcard from Australia you sent me! Congratulations on finishing your first year of university! I hope you did well on your math test - I do know how hard it can be!
Best wishes to you and to little Charlie!
Response: Thank you! I failed but I find out where I failed on Monday and only have to resit those parts of the exam next Thursday and then I am definitely finished for the year!
Comment: Jessica, your swap is without a doubt my very fav to date! Thank you so much. It is so rare to get anything but the name of the swap on a ripped piece of paper. When I saw that you sent me an actual letter, I did a little happy dance...lol. I was so excited. And the note paper is so freaking cute. Thank you for putting so much love into this swap. And Gratian LOVES his puzzle postcard. We took it apart and assembled it immediately. I truly appreciate the effort and wish I could give you more hearts. =) Happy Swapping. I hope to get partnered with you again in the future.
Response: It was a pleasure sending them to you. The writing paper was a gift from my brother for Christmas last year and I thought I better start using it with Christmas fast approaching. I am so glad Gratian lives the puzzle postcard. Totally something different yet simple! I now know I selected the right postcards for you and I can't wait to be your swap partner again!
Comment: Thank you very much for the nice pictures you sent to me.
I think you have an adorable son!
Nice learning to know someone a little by looking at they're pictures.
I wish you all the best, Henny
