Comment: Thank you so much for the Halloween Washi tape and items. I love Hocus Pocus and Halloween. I do like the idea of 31 postcards on 31 days. That sounds fun, I would sign up for it, thank you again
Comment: Kat, as per usual, your swap was adorable and made my day! First, the little doggo stationery was tooooo cute! Second, the PCs you sent were sublime, I just really loved them all, thank you. Third, I got the biggest chuckle out of The Pitcher of Dorian Grey Goose. Oh my goodness! So funny :D
Comment: I really loved everything you choose for me! Your handmade postcard is beautiful- I love that you used the natural leaves to make it! The stickers and the notecard and the sweet pocket with the stamped images are all really amazing!!!
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome Stonehenge postcard! It's a really pretty view! The washi and stickers are really cute too and I appreciate the note you wrote also sharing about your aunt's NDE - I find those things so fascinating! Thank you again for the really great swap :)
Comment: Hi Kat! Thank you for the Chunk O! I appreciate the sparklers are gluten free! I have learned something new about this great state! I've lived here for 12 years now and there is still so much to explore. I hope you had a happy 40th! Warmly, Ginger
Comment: Thank you for the awesome postcard! I've never been to a pride event, the idea scares me though because of the ignorance of others... :-( OMG, did you get to meet Prince Poppycock? I remember seeing him on AGT and I LOVED him. Take care of yourself!
Response: These events felt safer in the PNW, in those past times. The public in general is often terrifying now. Prince Poppycock was apparently being a diva prior to the performance. It started late and ended early. The meet and greet was cancelled. It was loads of fun anyway! The SF Dyke march holds some fun memories for me too, and of course seeing my high school PE teacher on a float in the Long Beach parade years after I'd graduated.
Comment: Thank you for the “Quick SC PC”. We didn’t have any loud fireworks in our neighborhood. Most towns cancelled them until fall because piping plovers (endangered species) are still nesting on the beaches. Enjoy our fleeting summer, which has been perfect here so far.
Comment: Ohhh, the way you decorated the back of this chunk is so CUTE 🍪💜 I've never had these cookies, but I totally agree. A lot of store bought cookies just taste so artificial to me after getting in the habit of making my own!
Comment: What beautiful postcards and such a delightful vacation perfect for Paris-loving me!!! You really did such a fantastic job on this swap, plus included several extra pc's -- and wouldn't it be amazing to truly have such an encounter on a trip to Paris!! C'est magnifique! Merci beaucoup
Response: Your profile provided some good material to work with! I really had fun putting this swap together!
Comment: Thank you for the colorful 4th of July themed envie that your totally cute folder and wonderful goodies came in!! I am so thrilled to have the homemade bookmark and altered playing card, the silver stars, cat stickers and postcard!! Thank you for a great swap!!
Comment: What a wonderful envelope full of goodies. So many interesting things to work with. The stamp is wonderful and I really love the morning questions. I'll keep that one tucked in my journal always.
Comment: How lovely!! I absolutely love receiving swaps from you!! I hope you don't get sick of sending to me :) Beautiful stickers and that plastic sleeve is just right for using to send handmade PCs. Thanks again!!
Response: Definitely not sick of swapping with you, but was glad to have some fresh items to send your way!
Comment: I love these!!! What a perfect surprise!! Your envelopes are always so cute. Do you use a template? They are perfect...I also love the 6x9-ish size because they fit stickers and that. Love it. Thanks so much!
Response: I don't use a template. I used to do it all on my paper cutter, but now I trim 12x12 paper to 12x8.5 and use a scor board to mark my folds, then trim flaps with scissors. Then I can use the 3.5x12 strips for other projects, or for swap info notes, or atc backgrounds to send out (I don't make ATCs). I'm a fan of the size, too! Perfect for sticker and PC swaps.
Comment: Kat - Wow, what a delight to get your swap! I love the booklet (I want to make one!) and the wonderful assortment of butterflies, and postcard and note card +++ Thank you for making my day special, Kathy
Comment: Hi Kat! What a bundle of fun in one envelope! I just love what you sent--I must admit the puppy on the notecard has stolen my heart! Wonderful assortment of lovelies. And, I much appreciate those sweet Sumo wrestlers on the envelope! Many thanks; hope we're partnered again very soon!
Comment: Hey there Kat! Received your swap today and thanks so much for the 2 sheets for the swap and for the extra. Loving what you sent! And, Yes- it has been a bit since we last swapped. It seems that way with a lot others lately. Miss swapping with awesome swappers like you! So, Was great to get a swap from you! I hope the rest of your day is great!
Comment: Ha! Nocturnal mode!?! So relatable! My daughter and I call it "hiding from the sun!" Our temps here have been quite high for this time of the year. It has felt like mid-July since the beginning of May. Yuck. Anywho, thank you for sending another great swap! Adored the stickers you picked out to send me ♡ As usual, it is a pleasure to be paired with you ♡
Comment: I love the washi!! We don't have a Daiso near us but I have been to one when I visited California years ago. So fun, but I would love to go back! The stickers look like poolie printer? I have one of those (both small and the XL one) and they print like that. I absolutely love it! Thank you for a fantastic envelope of goodies!
Response: It's a phomemo printer. I'm glad you like the goodies!
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing both versions with me. I like them both but the lemonade one really is super cute. The other one has your doodles…my doodles aren’t nearly as good as yours for sure! Also, the envelope is so well done. I love all of what you created for me! 🥰
Comment: Meow! I love it! Yes, I too, hold on to my favorite stuff for way too long. . . I'm selective to who I send it to (You've gotten some) but I have been getting better about sharing!! THANK YOU!
Comment: Everything about the swap you sent is wonderful! The envelope is super cute and colorful, as are all of the stickers (i LOVE the cute pride stuff!). The postcards are perfect and it's so sweet that you read my profile that closely ♥ And you sent that thank you card at exactly the right time, because I have the PERFECT use for it. Thank you so much for everything!!
Response: I really had fun putting it together for you! 💌
Comment: Hello Kat! So nice to swap together again. Many thanks for the lovely bunch of goodies you created for me! I'm forever in your debt for that amazing sumo wrestler pocket and stickers--I LOVE them. Of course, everything else is wonderful, too (LOVE that little fox), but the sumos stole my heart ;+)
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful postcard! I have a box with Ghibli pcs, but I didn't have this image. I'd love to live in a house like that. The plumeria washi is amazing, too! It's one of my favorite flowers. We had our first heat wave last week, this week it's rather cool. Thank you so much for the card!
Comment: Hi Kat, thank you for the wonderfully decorated cat envelope!! I could feel your kitties hugs a little early for cat day!! LOL Love the post its,cat letter set, charming!! Love the cat pc and the Jetoy cat pc, my favorite. Thanks for a wonderful swap. Happy Cat Day hugs from Donna and her cat Dolly
Comment: Wow, Kat!! Thanks so much for the special mail!! I love the envelope and all of the amazing profile goodies enclosed. This was so much fun to open and I'll have fun using the goodies too. I'm sorry for the delayed rating--my whole family has been ill so I'm just getting to our mail from the past couple of weeks. All the best to you and yours for a wonderful Summer season. ❤️❤️❤️
Comment: WOW!!! What a lovely swap!! Thanks so much for joining and for sending such an amazing package of sea loveliness!!! side note- the glue closing the envelope didn't stick. Thankfully this envie was super sturdy so I don't think anything fell out. See you in the mailbox :)
Response: Yay! And, I wonder if that's the day I ran out of my regular glue and used a thinner one...
Comment: Wow this was a great swap! I loved the kelp forest handmade envelope (I don't know if you knew I really enjoy kelp forests but so cool!) and the beautiful notecard/envelope and sticker flat surprises! Your handmade cryptid card is also very cute. I appreciated the attention to detail and descriptive writing you did about the massacre of the Wiyot people, something I did not know about before so it was nice to learn something new even though the topic is of course very sad and unpleasant. You can ruin my week anytime! :)
Response: I'd been holding on to that envelope for just the right person because I loved it so very much. Looks like I chose well!
Comment: Thank you so much for such a beautiful swap! I love everything you sent and will use it all in my journals! Love the hidden paper clip and the adorable butterfly bookmark too! Awesome swap! xx Gabi
Comment: Hi Kat, your little note and beautiful wax seals bring me such joy to read and look at on my desk. The little bird holding the letter is my favorite. The blue one is my favorite color. I will use the washi tape to seal the card for my grandson's high school graduation. Goleta is a good place to live and enjoy the ocean and mountains. Thank you for joining my swap!
Comment: Your choice of stickers is A+ friend! ♥ I got this postcard out of the mailbox and loved it immediately. That playful kitty you added looks like it's going to chase me right back up to the road! And that ginger kitty on the back is adorable~
Comment: Oh wow, everything you sent is so cute! I may have squeaked with happiness when I saw that little postcard ♥ The papers are wonderful, the envelopes are beautiful, and that flower embellishment is so colorful! Thank you so much for everything!
Comment: Hi Kat! Thank you for the lovely Gelli Plate pc and for joining the swap! I hope you the swaps and will continue to have fun with them! We had spring weather for two days - windows open and now it is chilly again - but the hubby's onions are growing, so he is a happy camper! I love summer tomatoes! Nothing better! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: National onion day is coming up on June 27, and it sounds like you'll be ready to celebrate! 🧅 I love gelli plate playing and handmade PCs, so these swaps are perfect for me!
Comment: Thank you so very much for all the lovely postcards,my favorite was Alice in wonderland ❤️I also absolutely loved the Alice in wonderland stickers and the cute Alice I Wonderland bag❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I will definitely do USA only next time❤️
Comment: Love my envelopes!! I thought the polka dots were my favorite and then I decided it was the magazine envie with the gallery wall. But then the little one made with a book page and decorated it the postage stamp and layered star won hands down.
Comment: Thanks very much for that wonderful card about the sea turtles. So cool! Never knew that about them going back to where they were hatched to lay their eggs. Thanks also for all the fun stickers! Much appreciated! Cathy
Comment: Thank you so much for the great variety of postcards you sent! I LOVE the black cat one!!! Hope you have a great day and thank you again!! (The "This is not a bill" message made my day!!!) 😁💓👌🏼
Comment: What a great PC, you nailed it!! I also love that you picked an illustration for it ♥ I save the motor association magazines here too! Often they have interesting travel or feature photos. Thanks so much for the lovely PC & note (btw, how many typewriters do you have? which one is your fav?!), and thanks for joining my swap:) ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Comment: I LOVE these images! Particularly the birds! What line of stamps is that??? Perhaps we could do a private swap, what kind of images do you like? I'd love some more of the birds and bees! Cheers!!!!
Comment: Love the Windsor Castle postcard. Thank you! I would love to visit there someday. And thank you for your kind words about Swap-bot. It has been going strong for 17 years and we hope to keep it up and running for many more! Happy happy swapping!
Comment: LOVE this postcard and thought it was exceedingly clever to use a dictionary page with 'mushroom' as your book page! Why didn't I think of that ;+) Your collage work is so nice and love the Emily quote. Thank you so much and hope we'll be swapping together again very soon!
Response: I lucked into some old books that were begging to be torn apart, and this was a perfect use! I'm glad you noticed the encyclopedia mushrooms bit! 🍄📖
Comment: Hi Kat! Many thanks for the beautiful and generous offerings you sent to fulfill this swap! Love the color combinations and I'm just crazy for that thin paper--is it onion skin? I must have some! haha Wonderful swap!
Response: Yay, I'm glad you like it! It was some really old tissue paper my ma found in an old pile of who knows what. I liked the texture of it for printing.
Comment: Hi Kat! Thank you for the lovely Van Gogh (nice pun, by the way!) postcard and message. Starry Night is one of my favorites of his. In fact, there are very few Van Gogh's that I don't like!! I, too, have some VG washi...but I tend to hoard it! In our world, Cardinals are our ancestors visiting. It's a wonderful to have ancestors visit! 🐦
Comment: Thank you for the cool PC! Unfortunately, the top right half took a beating in the postal system! Lol! It was ripped and torn, but still intact. I wonder what stories it would tell if it could speak! Lol!
Comment: SQUEEEEEEEE! I LOVEEEEEEE ALL OF THIS!!!!! Thank you so much!!! The Alice Stickers are going somewhere prominent! You're the first person to send me anything with "Why is a Raven like a writing desk?" on it!! Thank you SOOOOOO much!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Response: You're very welcome! I'm glad you're excited about this batch of goodies. I shared some if my very favorite things. 💌
Comment: I wrote the previous review I left on the wrong person/sender and I'm sooooooo embarrassed. I just received your lovely gift today and it's absolutely fabulous! Thank you for the details. I can't wait to try the tea. My brother's name is Donnie Jae. We were named after my farther Donny Jay. And there is a terrible comedian by the name of Donny J. Baker . So my name is important. So funny that you know someone similarly named. Again I apologize for the wrong review. The other sender sent my package with the wrong name.
Response: I apologize for the misspelling. I double checked it twice (read in your profile it happens often), but my brain must not have cooperated.
*Yay! I'm pleased to know I DID spell it correctly. I'm glad you like the mail. 💌
Comment: Thanks for the pink PC, I love the variety of items used! Great idea to use recycled swap materials - I like to do that too sometimes and challenge myself to use only what is in my desk at the moment!
Comment: GORGEOUS handmade postcard, Kat! I received alot of mail today but yours made me smile the biggest. You know my style! It was so me, the pink, the vintage looking hotair balloon, and the watercolor rose. Thank you! Just so lovely. I need a small easel so that I can display this. 💕... Karla, 2/26/22
Response: I had a feeling it was THE PC for you after reading your profile. So glad you enjoy it! That watercolor rose was so pretty - I had to re-use it!
Comment: Thank you for the envelope of goodies! The postcard of Buckingham Palace will go into my collection and the note card is lovely. It's amazing that I don't have one of the several
ATC backings in my stash.....and I have a BIG stash. 4 silverware trays full. Always glad to have new ones. Hugs and 💖
Comment: Great postcard! I’m not a big city person but I like to explore if given the opportunity. I’m always grateful to get back to my rural work. I’ve never been to Hong Kong but it’d be fun to explore!
Comment: Thank you for all the lovely vintage items you chose for me. I love it all, especially the envelopes you made with vintage papers and the junk journal pockets. I can't wait to use it all. Take care and be well.
Comment: I got your lovely postcards! You sent such a nice variety :D My daughter especially loved the Niagara Falls one which showed the seasonal contrast! Thank you for such thoughtfully picked out PCs <3
Comment: Kat thank you for the creative postcard. Your PC has so many interesting and cool things that keep my eyes moving from one thing to another. Much fun looking and studying everything! I love your creation!! Thank you so much!!!’ Hugs, Alma
Comment: Thank you so much for resending! I too had to resend SO many things from December. The number of resends I have done in the last two years is so sad. BUT those envelopes are AH-mazing and will go to good use. I really like the pattern and will likely use them as models for making some of my own!!
Response: Yay! I'm glad you're excited about them! Send me a message if you'd like my dimensions for the envelopes! Then you can use the ones I sent AND make your own!
Comment: Thanks for resending.. I tried to grow an avocado tree, turns out they sprout really fast but then the actual tree will take years upon years to grow. Exciting as a science project to get a sprout from your used pit, then disappointment.
Response: Ours was from a nursery, but we didn't expect it to flower/fruit for a few more years. So excited it is flowering for the first time!
Comment: Thanks so much for the lovely envelopes and the sheet of stickers. They're all so pretty. You did a lovely job on them. All the best to you! Graydie and Kobie say hi back to your fur kids. Cathy
Comment: Thank you SO much!! I love using these snippets and haven't replenished my stash in a very long time. I also love all the envelopes. I know they were used to spread it out...but I will definitely use those too. Thanks again. See you in the mailbox :)
Comment: 1st heart ❤ for the amazing Redwood tree postcard! Wow, I'm floored it's so beautiful!! ❤2nd heart Elvis pool room postcard!? Whaaat? Elvis is MY FAVORITE!! ❤ 3rd heart weird gigantic jack rabbit herding cattle. THANK YOU for making this simple swap so special. You rock!
Comment: I love everything you sent for this swap! The penguin letter set, sticker sheets, postcards w/stamps are all going to be used! Thanks for such a great swap! Enjoy your day! Thanks for joining the swap.
Comment: Awwwwww!!! That's SO cute!! I love the elephants and it made me laugh. I like everything you sent. Your swaps are so great!! I think that swap bot pairs people in a *not so* random manner and I am basking in the Kat Mail right now :D
Comment: Thank you for sharing, it was a little underwhelming as most were slapped with floral washi stickers. The good news is I can reuse the things you sent me especially the envelopes, gonna use those for sticker flakes swaps!
Response: I feel like I sent a fairly nice swap, and that these are pretty harsh words for what I sent. I did use washi botanical stickers on the envelopes made of paper that had imprints of leaves in them. The rest of the swap however was more involved than placing a sticker on it. I'm sorry you didn't enjoy it as much as I thought you would, but I did put effort into it.
Comment: Hi Kat! What an absolutely amazing swap! I love everything so much! Thanks for the teas, which look delicious! The stickers are all beautiful and the postcards are gorgeous! And your postcard arrived the same day! So so so cool! My condolences for your loss - I'm thinking of you and hoping you're doing well. Thanks again for a great swap and I will see you around the internet and in the mail soon! Take care! XO Dana
Comment: Thank you for the cute little swap. I'm bummed
out that it never made it to me safely, the pride stickers esp look great! Thank you anyway for putting it together and I'm sorry about the cost to you!
Comment: I love the creativity you put into what you chose for this swap! Love the Penguin PC, Cherry Blossoms and the adorable Zippered Bags and also a big thank you for the extra goodies you included! Thanks for joining this swap!
Comment: Oooooo I love this swap!! Thank you so very much for the goodies. I should really add that I like all holiday stuffs when they are close at hand. I have already used the washi and the cards you sent! Thank you so much. Love when we are partnered.
Comment: Thank you for a great swap! I love everything! The little poodles are precious and yes, poodle and France go hand in hand! : ) Washi is super cute. Thank you for sending all my favorite things! Xoxo
Comment: I love these PCs, especially the Mackinac Island one. Growing up in Michigan almost everyone goes there as a kid, either with their family or on a school trip. Thank you for the awesome cards and stamps, too!
Comment: Hey there Kat! Thanks so much, for your favorite postcards of Black cat & not sure what the other is. But love it & the cat. And, thanks so much too, for the Wolves PC. I don't have this one. So, It's going into my keeper file. They're so beautiful ! You were telling me about Manuka Honey. So happy it works for you. But I can't have it. Because I'm borderline Diabetic. But thank you for thinking of me for my back infection. Happy Holidays!
Response: I wonder if you could use the honey topically in a safe way. Something to research.
Comment: Thank you for the Mac and cheese card. I buy Kraft when I get it. I always have some on hand although I have not been eating it much since I started working with our weight management group through the local hospital.
Comment: Thank you for paper summery theme. However , I have no use for crafty and cutesy paper. I do say that in my profile. I have never known how one uses the flower sheet which is shiny on the back. Perhaps, you can tell me..You must use these paper items or you wouldn't have them.
Response: This was a senders choice swap and your profile lists items I do not have, like vintage postcards and unused vintage postage. Maybe this isn't the right kind of swap for you if you don't use these kinds of items.
Comment: Amazing! Thank you so much! I have to know where you got the Alice in Wonderland Bag and the Hello Kitty bag! Also, I don't know if you made those Sloth bookmarks or not, but I love them SOOOO much! Thanks for making my day!
Response: Daiso! And, I assembled the sloth stickers into doodads for you, but the stickers did most of the work themselves.
Comment: Thank you for the awesome picks! I hadn't heard of Rankin Ranch before so I looked it up. Very cool and I don't know if I will ever be able to part with that PC because the picture is super cute! Lots of goodies. Thank you
Response: I chose the right person to send that PC to! Yay! My ma goes to rankin ranch twice a year for a quilting retreat and LOVES it! The girl in the PC is now an adult and helps run the guest ranch and livestock and market. Ma loves to take gifts to the the young ladies, and pb pretzels are a favorite!
Comment: This was such a fun swap. Glad you couldn't stop at 1. Happy to be the recipient of 2 awesome pockets. Love the bicycle theme. Wow. I think I'll be making a few more of these goodies inspired by this Happy Mail. Thanks!!
Comment: Love the Peanuts envelope - thank you! And fun goodies! I have been to most of those stores in Tokyo. Very cool! Was supposed to go next week but of course we have to cancel again : ( Maybe next year!?!? Thanks so much for joining my swap! Hope you’re doing well!
Comment: Kat, Thank you very much, for the Witchy Halloween PC ( I love it! )! Heck, It really isn't all that early to send out Halloween PC's or cards. I'm doing it & wish I could do it year round, ha! I love Halloween so much!
Comment: Oh my goodness, I loved all your PC choices, I loved the 2 Halloween postcards they were cute. Also loved the beautiful envie with the adorable panda sticker you made. Thank you so much.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Comment: Hey again! Thanks for the second envie! I also had the same partner for both of these swaps!! I love everything you sent once again! Very grateful and looking forward to using these stickers and papers! Also I love the zine! Take care! xoxo
Comment: Not many storms rolling these days, being summertime, but they should start showing up again soon! At least I hope so. I love the rain - but I enjoy the sunbreaks too! Thank you for the marvelous stamped images - I can use a few on the swap I am just finishing. The card and the stickers I can definitely use too! Thank you for your thoughtfulness.
Comment: I received your postcard and enjoyed reading it. The Kennedy school neighborhood is a great neighborhood. It is a very interesting postcard with all the different outfits on the front and her handing out chocolate. Great stickers and washi tape use as well. Doris
Comment: I have not done the apples-and-brie thing. But it is apple season here in MN, and we have some of the very best (Honeycrisp was developed here, but I like SweeTango). And I love brie. Crackers...good! Thanks!
Comment: Thanks for the great vintage stove ad reprint postcard. I love it! It's not the usual sort of product you often find on a reprint, which I adore. In any case, I hope you are safe from the fires, too, since we are CA neighbors. Take care! <3
Comment: Thank you for the funny pc! I wonder what the mail carriers thought?? Probably: where would one store all that?
It reminded me of years ago when I worked at a Greek restaurant and if I made a Greek salad with too much feta, the owner would say, “You can’t put that much cheese on there; you’ll constipate poor customer!”
Comment: Thank you so much for the ocean themed envelope and goodies inside! What amazing happy mail! I like the style of envelope you made. As much as I love summer and the heat, I too love a/c. The humidity here is just gross! LOL! Can’t imagine being outside all day then coming into a stifling house. Yuck! 😆 So glad you joined the swap! Thank you!!!
Comment: Thanks for the floral pc. It arrived rather fast! Drinking mocha sounds wonderful! The only thing missing from the challenge is using more that one ink color, while writing out your message, I think. Love the gold accent flower stickers. Very pretty. 💕 ~ Z **Updated response:** I see, yet there’s no need to be sorry. It’s all good!
Response: I realized I missed the multi ink colors so used pink and red to doodle a box around your name. Sorry about that!
Comment: You are talented my friend. I love the postcard and your sweet message. I'm hoping to pick up those good vibes. It's a beautiful day here in NY.
And I am leaving your card out in a plexiglass frame. I'm hoping to channel some groovy feelings from Cali.. Till next time, stay well and prosper.
Response: Did it work? Did you absorb the vibes?! I hope so! Thank you for the kind words.
Comment: Everything is so well-coordinated! The flip book is beautiful. And I love the little black cat diecut. General Squeaks is perfect for it, or Tay-Tay (who is like Hei Hei from Moana, but in black cat form...) I'll write you a letter back soon! <3
Comment: Thank you, kat, for your lovely postcards. I keep things vague on my profile because I don't know where people are at and I want to remain open to whatever others have. I also know I can always pass on stuff that doesn't suit me. =)
Comment: I laughed at your comment... I would have counted Leda as being on 2 legs...she had 2!! What is the mythology behind the card? I'm not familiar.. at least not in German - 🙂
What amazing family names to live up to!! I had an uncle whose name was Lincoln Stanton. Not as historic as your family names, that's for sure!! Thank you for sharing your story and pc with me 💖
Comment: I wish I could give you more hearts! Its clear you took the time to read my profile and put together a swap that I would love! I absolutely adore the pooh stamped images you made for me, and the westie sticker on the front of the heart was adorable! THANK YOU for your attention to detail. :)
Comment: Wow, Kat, what a wonderful swap! The envelope is great fun and going in the journal, the Chococat stationery is adorable and thanks for the extra sheets, and the notecards are great - the nxnw one is very cute! Thanks so much for putting this together for me! I hope our paths cross again and I will be thinking of you at the end of the month! Take care! XO Dana
Comment: Hi Kat! Love the Great Sand Dunes pc you sent! So different from the CO that I have seen and now I want to go! LOL! They do seem to have a bit of everything in CO, you are so right! All the Best! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thank you so much for the great assortment of lettersets. The fish one is so elegant, and of course chococat is so adorbs. And thank you for the Alice paper bag; can't wait to put that in my Alice journal!
Comment: Thanks Kat for the beautiful handmade bird card :) Sounds like you have some amazing birds in your backyard!! I'm pretty sure NZ doesn't have any hummingbirds :( also maybe you'll see some mourning dove babies soon....LOL
Comment: I remember now that you mentioned it again. We lived in Logan for a year when our oldest was 12 months old. We returned when she was about 22yrs old to show her where we lived when she was a baby, and it is so changed that we had a difficult time finding our old apartment!! She is now 43 years old, so I can imagine it is ever more grown in size!
We got a cool spell for a few days and RAIN!!! So happy!! I hope all is well with you. Thanks for the awesome swap!
Comment: Hello Kat and thank you for the pretty Upcycled PC! Love the blues on card! Glad you had a good time, at the Huntington library gardens. I bet they are beautiful! I have 3 flower beds of my own, I plant every year. I also have 3 veggie gardens as well and they all are doing so good!
Response: We have a volunteer cherry tomato plant and boysenberries that are producing for the first time this year. 😋
Comment: Wow Kat you made my day!!! I didn't know there was bear washi!!!!!! Your booklet was so lovely and just how did you get all those pockets in there!?! You are so sweet to make one, just for me, in different colors! You are an amazing swapper!!Thank you so much for an awesome swap!!
Response: I'm so glad you like it! I had fun making it. ✂️
Comment: Thank you so much for the awesome zine! I love how old school it looks, I love zines but can never quite manage to capture that DIY aesthetic! I also love all the Snoopy stuff, the card is especially creative and I'm really touched that you actually took the time to read my profile and see that I love Snoopy! Thank you <3
Response: I had zine practice in the 90s and early 2ks, so that probably helps it look old school. I'm glad you like it, and the snoopy card etc. You're welcome!
Comment: I loved your beautiful postcard! It's very much my jam aesthetically! haha
Have followed back on both my IGs (I've made a bit of a jumble of IG, I'm afraid).
Have a wonderful week, Kat!
Response: I'm so glad it arrived, and that you like it! I look forward to seeing more on IG. Thank you. 💌
Comment: Thanks so much for the cards, Kat, especially the Frida Kahlo painting & the Edward Gorey illustration. They are two of my favorite artsts. **Edited to add the ♥ that was inadvertently left out. Sorry about that.**
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard that you made. Love those colors and the design. You do wonderful work and it's very special using your grandmother's paint. Thank you for much for making my day!
Comment: Wow! Beautiful presentation! I opened it up and smiled at all the Christmas goodies you sent! The puppy dog tag is adorable. LOL the french hens made me laugh! The blank card is just gorgeous, I appreciate it all! Merry Christmas in July!
Response: Glad you like it! Those tags ARE adorable! Merry Christmas in July! 🎄🦌⛄🎅
Comment: Hi Kat, I love your tulip greeting/postcard repurposed!! What I especially loved was the story about your grandmother and the space shuttle. That is really amazing! Thank you for sharing such a fascinating story!!!
Response: Granny was an interesting lady! One the weekends, she worked at a horse stable and took kids on trail rides. 🤠 🚀
Comment: What a great swap! I LOVE the envelope and card you made for your postal worker and the goodie bag looks fantastic! They surely loved it all!!! Thank you for being part of this awesome swap!!
Response: It was something I would've done anyhow! Great swap idea!
Comment: Thank you for the awesome sticker sheet! And I am IN LOVE with that letterset you sent! It is SO cute! If you have time, and/or even remember, I would love to know where you got it? I have been looking for cute lettersets but haven't found much other than lapapierre. Anyway, Thanks again for an amazing swap and for joining in on my swap!
Response: Yay! Glad you like it! I sent you a message.
Comment: Hi again! Thank you so much for the Mount Rushmore postcard. I've never been there but want to see it one day. So you lived about an hour away from me when you lived in Edmonds. Or an hour on a good travel day! I hope you are enjoying southern Cali now. :) Thanks again!
Response: I sure do miss the PNW. Never really felt like a so cal type. I also lived in Portland for 14 years after university in way northern CA - the farthest north Cal State!
Comment: Thank you for the 'Nothing will work unless you do' postcard. Thank you for writing to Seniors too, that's a great project! Is there a program that you go through to get the information on who to write too? I would love to learn more about it. Thank you for making my day a happy one! Happy 4th!
Response: The only thing I use facebook for! There are a few associated groups on fb - one is called From the Heart, also Postcards From the Heart, and one for people who are adults but not yet seniors called Comfort and Joy. You can join the groups and see requests for cards or postcards. If you love to send without replies just to brighten someone's day, I highly recommend joining up! I don't use a return address so they understand there is no expectation of a reply. Sometimes there are photos of the recipients enjoying their happy mail, and I have 17 regulars I send to monthly.
I just added the links to the top of my profile.
Comment: Thank you for the card! I agree on the sleeping until fall - the humidity is so gross... My favorite dog costume is the hot dog. My Jimmy is half Bassett hound, so he has the length to pull it off and is so cute! :-) I hope you're doing well and staying safe!
Response: I've been tempted to get a taco costume for my cats, but don't think they'd go for it.
Comment: Awesome card! Love the Disney ones and this one is extra special. How lucky to live so close. We hope to get there next year, but in Florida. It's a tad closer. But would love to go to California too!
Response: It is certainly busier around the parks than it has been for over a year.
Comment: What a lovely swap!! I love the goodies you sent, the washis are RIGHT up my alley :) I also love the little sticker card with the polar bears - what a great way to share stickers from a sheet when you want to keep some for yourself LOL! Thanks for the great swap, hope you are well
Response: Yay! Glad you liked it! Those polar bears are like post-its, re-stickable!
Comment: Thank you ever so much. The postcards you chose are perfect. I love them all. The little mini envelope was made with such cool paper! The ephemera is right up my alley! Love it all. Now, to top it off I'll sit back and relax with a cup of Twinings Earl Grey tea. Thank you!!! Hugs, Alma
Comment: Thank you for the fun Ron Weasley postcard. It is always an honor to receive Owl Post from the Ministry of Magic. I gave the owl a missive to deliver to a free house elf in Conkle's Hollow before returning to the Ministry and its regular duties. Take care.
Comment: Thanks for the Mac & cheese chunk of cardboard. I love the watermelon washi and the flamingo and llama sticker too. Thank you so so much. Have a great day! Am hosting another one and hope to see u in it too 😊
Comment: I got your fun package today! Thanks so much for the fun cards... did you make two of them? The JAWS one made me laugh! I love that "not a bill" stamp on the envelope (where did you get it??) and how you decorated the envie. Thanks for the extra washi and stickers. Much love from Canada! <3
Response: I did make two of them. 😀
I worked at a stationary shop in Edmonds WA called The Papery, and those envelopes were leftovers from the card racks. They had the stamp already, but I really like them. I have a few different kinds.
Comment: Fast posting! The picture looked so dated, I'm surprised they still sell it as a current postcard, based on the cars I'd bet the actual photo was taken at least 30 years ago! Perfect for this swap though!
Response: Right?! It really is an awful representation of my city.
