Comment: Thank you very much for the flora and fauna stamps! I love them!! I especially love the Australian fauna stamps. I grew up learning about Australian wildlife, and it inspired me to be a Biologist, so it really means a lot to me! <3
Comment: I adore this ATC and bless you for sticking the pumpkin over the spider! Don't worry though, it's only face to face encounters with the real thing that creep me out! It really is a gorgeous card though, I especially love the gradient background! Thanks also for the extra Zine! You have a great style! <3
Comment: Karen! So happy to get the swap from you! I was hoping it wasn't lost in the mail... that would've been sad for everyone. Thank you so much for Temora pc. I had to look up where it is! I've never been to Wales, despite family in the UK and several trips there. I does look beautiful and serene. I hope they get some rain soon. I will pass these on in round #31. THANKS! <3
DARN: Update. will pass on in round #32. :-)
Comment: Thank you for the nice selection of stamps! I will now have to give Australia another page of my stamp book as the amount of Australian stamps just doubled :) Thanks for the extra cards too, they are really nice! I just have few swaps coming up that I can use them for.
Comment: Hello, thanks for the postage stamps along with the stamp card. I'll send its way on to the Netherlands tomorrow. I really liked the envelope as well, with its varied stamps and of course the coffee sticker and music in the corner. Nicely done!
Comment: Thank you for my lovely package! I love everything in it so much. The little paper dolls are exquisite and I love all the bits. The chocolate will be my treat after my daughter's bedtime tonight x
Comment: Thank you for this amazing swap! I love everything, even the way you decorated the envelope. So cool of you to include such a large variety of goodies for my journal. I really, REALLY like the handmade journal cards you made. So pretty! I hope you host another swap like this.
Comment: I love it! It is so detailed with so many techniques! Dont worry at all about the tassel, i think this should count. I love the coaster and other goodies too. Thank you so much! So much fun getting mail from another country too!
Comment: What a fun Christmas card you sent...I love that it has Sydney on it :) I am looking forward to trying these new teas...it is perfect weather here in Canada for them. We don't have snow where I am but it is still chilly.
Comment: Perhaps my favourite Christmas Card ever! I really enjoyed your note and Xmas memory. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Sydney card with the landmarks. I was thrilled with the washi ... all new and different samples of symbols I hunt for. Many thanks Karen and Merry Christmas to you.
Comment: I finally got my washi samples! sorry about this whole debacle. It sucks that the original never showed up, sorry about the hand made envelope going missing!
Response: ETA response to previously deleted rating: I did reply, as soon as I got your message. I told you that post to and from Australia very often takes longer than the time anticipated by swapbot, as many others here can attest to. I also said that I would be happy to resend if you had not received anything in the next few weeks.
You asked me if I had sent the swap, when it can be clearly seen on the listing details that I had.
I will resend, but chances are that it is still in transit.
In fact, I have just checked my sent messages, and it shows that the message I sent you on Oct 20 has been read. I will screenshot it and am happy to send it to you for confirmation, but I don't know how you think I haven't replied if it is marked as read.
ETA (Dec '19) : glad the resend arrived with no problems.
Comment: Thank you, thank you, thank you! I absolutely love the flip book full of wonderful goodies. It's a completely perfect swap. I was thrilled opening it all up. Sorry for the delay in rating, I was away.
Comment: Hi Karen -- Thanks for the card of the spectacular Blue Mountains. One of these days, I'd love to get around the other side of the globe and see Australia. Happy to keep swapping cards if you like -- PM me. Or not, no worries :)
Comment: Hi Karen! I love these so much, there are several I just want to put into sleeves in my book and call them done! I don’t recognize the technique but I’m looking forward to finding it in her videos!
Comment: Thank you, thank you, thank you! I absolutely love the beautifully presented swap you sent to me. Thanks for making such an effort to send such nice things in the lovely flip book. I really enjoyed opening it all up when I received it. It was nice to also find out more about you in your letter. Thanks so much :)
Comment: Karen! I love everything you picked for me! The pouches, (esp the Australia coin pouch) the washi, the paint chips and butterflies, the pens and the cool little green flower embellishments! This was a great surprise, I love it 👍
Comment: I really loved your snowflakes!! The stickers are awesome too. We have about 18 inches of snow now since winter began, the only saving grace is that we have had some very warm days interspersed with the cold.I am not very fond of winter now that I have gotten older and wish we could move to a more temperate part of the country but I don't think I could leave because I do love our little house and garden. Thank you again for the wonderful swap :)
Comment: What fun to have a Koala Bear card in my collection. Thanks and extra thanks for the washi. In particular I really like the ink and pen tape. Merry Christmas from way up here where there's plenty of snow!
Comment: Thanks for the nice zine, the list in it, and the beautiful little extra (I don't know what to call it but I love it).
Japan is on my bucket list too.
Don't pass up the chance at seeing the RHCPs, even if you go alone.
Comment: Thanks for the list. Diana Gabaldon is my favourite author. And my doggie is an Irish Wolfound cross. I can definitely recommend the breed - the are adorable. I'm from South Africa. Which part did you stay in when you were here?
Response: Hi :). We lived in Koeburg, not far from Cape Town. Really enjoyed my time there. How about you?
Comment: Thank you, I really enjoyed the goodies! :) For your next pocket letter maybe have a look of some videos online for inspiration. But I'm honored to be the recipient of your first ever pocket letter!
Response: Yep, I think I overdid the goodies a bit :) Glad you enjoyed them.
Comment: Thanks so much for the chocolate, I was very happy to receive it :)
My husband approved of your chocolate choices and wants me to do more of these kind of swaps as they benefit him too!
Thanks again :)
Comment: Karen I received the ad card journal today :) You've put so much work into it! I love the covers you made and I'm curious as to how you did the binding. You really have created something l'll treasure, thank you. Let me know if you ever want to do a private swap; it would be so nice to have someone local to send to.
Response: Thanks for the lovely comments :). I'd love to do a private swap sometime - message me and we'll sort something out!
The binding was from a youtube video tutorial, I'm not sure it had a name, but it was similar to Coptic book binding.
