Comment: Thank you for the flower deco! This one is turning out so pretty so far. I went to a flower arranging class today, so I'm in the right mood to decorate!
Response: Perfect timing! I took a flower arranging class once. When we finished I looked at the person next to me and commented how hers looked so nice and tidy compared to mine. She laughed and said she was a florist for 20 years. Ha!
Comment: Thank you for the fun sunrise/sunset deco! Your page is really fun and I'm excited to add to it. We are FINALLY getting nice weather here too! I'm a little south of you but, sheesh, spring seems like it's been slow coming this year! Hope you get to enjoy the Lake soon!
Comment: So much work much have gone into that collaged ATC ! *_* The detailing is beautifully done. I didn't play much Centipede but I recognised it right away. Thanks for the extra info on the game, I didn't know that ! Always fun to know more facts about women devs.
Response: This was a tough ATC for me to part with, which doesn't happen often. I'm glad it made it to your safely. Enjoy and trade if you can dare to part with it. Teehee!
Comment: Awwww Tamara....FUN to receive from you. thanks for the bunny note pages.... yummm sprouting garlic..... delicious...... and the card is fun and I shall finish & send her HOME...... big and many hearts to YOU.
Response: Glad the postcard found you well. I saw the addressee received the postcard home today. Thank you!
I am so sorry that this rating is coming so late. You can read my Profile to find out the details.
I appreciate your swap that you sent me toad to my wonderful collection of Art in all forms. If I received something that needed to be passed onto the next swapper, please know they have been passed on.
I am leaving Swap-bot after participating in this FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE from 2007. My health is needing my complete attention in order to heal and improve over time. THANK YOU goes out to all those I swapped with over the last about 15 years, it has been a PLEASURE.
Barbara B., sleepingrover2010
Response: Thanks for the heads up, Barbara. I'm sorry to see you have to give up swap bot. But I can understand. I hope you start to feel better very soon.💝
Comment: Hi Tamara, thanks for the beautiful postcard. This is the 2nd Edward Corey postcard I have received through swaps. Love the illustrations! It must be pretty cold in Michigan right now, huh. Its super hot here in Singapore but we do have an indoor ice skating rink but I really suck at ice skating. 😂 Till we swap again!
Response: Glad you like it! It was cold recently, which refroze everything that melted. The walkway between the house and car was like an ice skating rink. Treacherous!😆
Comment: Hi, thank you for this postcard. Sadly I am not organized at all. I started headed that way last year. Wanted to finish and be at least a little organized. Life has gotten in my way. I keep my postcards in shoe boxes. I want to try something new. I have too many shoe boxes.
Response: I used shoeboxes. Then I was inspired to pit them in binders with the 3-ring platic inserts when I saw a friend's stamp collection organized in a binder. I look for the binders at my local thrift shop.
Comment: Thank you for a sweet swap. We get the white morning glory, which is a real issue. They take over everything and very hard to get rid of. As for knitting, just finished a zebra and pony. I'm now working on a vest. All are for the senior centre sales.
Response: I know the white morning glories you're talking about. Such a pest! You must be a relatively quick knitter to finish that AND start on a vest.
Comment: Thanks for the great deco. The only projects I have going on, is to get the last donations taken in before year end.
Response: You're welcome! Hope you were able to get those last bits done.
I was gifted some sticker books, so I'm looking forward to arranging the special ones I want to save and admire. It's a bit silly, but I have fun doing it.
Comment: Thank you! I grew a new variety of tomatoes this year. They were supposed to be purple, but ended up being a deep orange! I think someone at the nursery where we bought our seedlings must have been color blind!
Response: That must have been a surprise! I'd probably still be waiting for them to turn purple. Ha!
Comment: Tamara... Thank you so much for interesting shoe pc! Looks like the gal that owns the shoes literally has 2 left feet and one right!!! LOL 😁
I have a friend in MD that loves Charlie Chaplin... she would agree with you about silent films. I love old costumes too. But more into the period mood... like Civil War Era, or even further back...Victorian Era. Wow! They changed so frequently... !!
Response: I hadn't realized the postcard was of a 3-footed person.🤣
Comment: Thanks for the postcard. I must say I don't know much about Edward Gorey. I must've seen his work before but didn't know. What a fascinating character and his illustrations are amazing. Thanks for the introduction. I'd definitely check out his body of work now. 😊
Response: I knew of Gorey from a public television show called Mystery! He did illustrations for the beginning. As a kid I loved to watch the intro to the show, then I'd shut off the tv because the actual show was boring to me.😆
Comment: Hi Tamawi,
Thank you I’ve never participated in a pass and paste but I’m glad I did as it looks really fun! Your postcard arrived today and it gives me an idea what to expect! Someone had sent a blank postcard form that looks perfect for this swap. Thx for sending and hosting!
Response: Wonderful! You'll be all set if you have a blank postcard form to start. Thanks for joining in!
Comment: Oh my goodness, what a wonderful sampler you put together for me! I love the maps, advertising, scrapbook papers, ephemera and everything else you included. All the extra little goodies in the pocket are perfect and very appreciated. Thank you so much for the Edward Gorey postcard too! It will be going into my little collection. Thank you so much for everything!
Response: You're very welcome! It was such fun to choose things for you that I thought you might like.
Comment: Thank you for the adorable Leafeon! I love your cutout Pokémon and am psyched to add another to my ATC collection. Loved the Pokémon stickers, origami pouches, and the Pokémon card backing too!
Response: It was fun to figure out how to layer all the colors on Leafeon. I swapped the origami pouches recently and loved how the size was perfect for an ATC.
Comment: Thank you for the gorgeous ATC! I never thought to fill in Huggins with other tangles either! Now you've made me curious to try this with other tangles. Apologies for the late rate, but work has gotten the best of me recently & I fell behind.
Response: No worries, I'm glad it made it to you. I bet you’ll have a lot of fun choosing which tangles to fill in Huggins.
Comment: Wow, I love this ATC ! You came up with such a creative way to make the background. And that Magnemite is just perfect. Thank you for yet another great swap. ^_^ Plus that Yotsuba notepaper is just darling.
Response: Magnemite is an underappreciated Pokemon, don't you think!? I figured you'd be someone who'd recognize Yotsuba.❤
Comment: Thanks for sending this on for me to work on. I continue to work from home as well - likely until June at the earliest. Even after things get back to normal, I will probably continue with a hybrid schedule - I understand and appreciate the value of in-person, face-to-face time, and I enjoy not having to commute! So we're going to figure out a balance of at-home vs. in-office days.
Response: You're welcome! I tell myself not to think too far ahead because 20 things could change by May. But it's tough to convince the 'planner' in me.
Comment: These postcard swaps have been so fun! It's always interesting to see what others have done and to figure out how to continue on with the theme. I also think it's really cool how you address them to someone else, as a way to spread the fun around! :) I look forward to adding something handdrawn to this one!
Response: Glad to hear you're enjoying them, too! It's like getting a pictionary drawing prompt.😆
Comment: Hey fellow Michigander! Thanks for the quick deco you sent in the handmade envie! I can’t wait to work on it! I’ve only been doing decos for a couple months (love it!!!)but have been swapping all sorts of other stuff for years. Btw, I know where your little town is, we pass through there to visit my in laws and have made many stops at the gas station off the highway :)
Response: You're welcome! Glad you found deco swapping. I love it, too! Have you tried pass-and-paste postcards yet? So you probably are in my 'neighborhood' as you pull off the highway. I looked your town up on the map because its name is so similar to an Illinois town I know.
Comment: Hi Tamara.... good to receive from you today THANKS for a great swap...... How's the weather in MI??? Cooling down? We had a really cool drizzly day here today.... thanks as aways for a fun swap..... Happy Thanksgiving.....
Many hearts to YOU.....
Response: It is a bit cooler, but it's been oddly warmer than usual...only a touch of snow. You never know though, it's still 'technically' fall.😆
Comment: It's was a nice surprise to learn about an arcade game I didn't know about ! I looked it up and, I might be wrong, but is it similar to Dig Dug ? I played a lot of that one. I'm a bit jealous about your stand-up arcade, I have to admit ! And hurray for that high score !
Response: It is very similar to Dig Dug, so you'd probably like it.😄
Comment: I received this swap today, it took 3 weeks! I hope our mail goes back to normal travel times soon. It's also suddenly fall here in Alabama. One week it was hot and then a major temperature change the next. I'm not ready for cold weather!
Response: Wow, 3 weeks! I'd rather that deco took longer than the plant I sent you though. I'm not ready either. I feel like summer barely happened.
Comment: Thank you for the cute collaged Hippopotas ! I thought he was missing an eye but I found it down the sleeve and glued it back on, yay ! Your Pokémon sleeve are adorable !
(And thank you for the edit on my name ! Don't mind it though, the s/z thing happens often lol.)
Response: Good thing the eye was still in the sleeve! I've used the same brand for a while, but sometimes formulas change. I'm going to check up on it. My last name is commonly misspelled. The "r" and "n" blend together and they read it as "m".😆
Comment: Thank you! I've had to work throughout this pandemic. We're "essential" because we supply stuff to other (actually essential) businesses. I'm glad you've been able to create with your time off!
Response: You're welcome! This situation goes to show how much we rely on others for all sorts of things.
Comment: Thank you for the fun decos. I think my family had had enough 4th by 3 days before from so many setting off fireworks early. The only one interested was my 11 year old, heh. Still the grilled hotdogs went over well. :)
Response: I wouldn't think that could get old - haha!
Comment: Thanks so much for the cute card! I struggle to find some alternatives too, but I find that if there isn't some way of dealing with it there may be no necessity for it in the first place. At least that's been true for me! Stay safe <3 Al
Response: True! I'm trying to be more more mindful of that. Take care!
Comment: Hi Tamara,
Thank you so much for your lovely postcard you sent me for this swap. This postcard reminded me of Degas paintings. I love the Dancing paintings Degas did when he was alive.
Thank you again. I am sorry that it took me awhile to rate you, but I have been in moving mode for quite some time. So, know that I appreciate your work even though it took me some time for me to rate you!
Response: You're right, I hadn't thought about that connection. No worries about the moving delay. Moving is such a lot of work! Hopefully you'll settle in and be able to relax a bit now.
Comment: LOVE the envelope! I enjoy making my own as well🤩 will keep these bags moving❣💌
Maybe we can meet up in Iceland. Lol
I have us a personal tour guide already🥰
Response: You're welcome! The cashiers at my post office comment often about the cheerful handmade envelopes that come and go from my box. Have you heard about the hotel that has an astronomer on staff?!
Comment: Thank you for the bags and note! My swap goal for this year is similar to yours. I got carried away collecting washi and stickers, so this year it's time to put them to use! Thanks again and best wishes.
Response: You're welcome. And...To 2020, a year of using what we've got!
Comment: I loved the card and the little story of your first Zentangle class. The tile you drew on and sent me was actually originally from my business partner and close friend, Debbie. It’s wonderful how Zentangle connects us. <3
Response: That's even better...that her tile came full circle with my first tangles!
Comment: Thank you, Tamara, for the special postcard and stamp. I feel honored to place it in my stamp collection album. Yes I have been to the Nutcracker several years ago when our neighbor's daughter was dancing.
Response: You're welcome! That seems like an extra bonus, to have known one of the dancers.
Comment: I have several knitting projects that I need to finish - a scarf for myself, and a minion hat for my grandson (he's probably forgotten that he asked for it by now!), and a few others that I can't even remember right now. So don't feel too bad!
I love the card - the kitties are so cute!
Response: Birds of a feather! It's mostly the process that's fun anyway.
Comment: Thank you for the cute postcard Tamara!
My favorite crafts would be card and envelope making, stamping, embossing, and distressing paper for papercrafts!
You were my first official swap so thank you very much!
Response: Yay, I'm glad you received your first official swap! You'll be able to participate in quick a few swaps in with your list of favorite crafts.
Comment: This was an extra special ugly card! haha!
Lucky you to win tickets to The Nutcracker!
We are going to a Christmas party where we will exchange "white elephant gifts". They may be good; they may be bad. My husband is brining a box of big chocolate bars. I'm taking a bottle with a $10 bill frozen inside. haha!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Response: Ha, I thought it was an odd thing for a postcard. That party sounds like it'll be a good laugh. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
Comment: Nice one will finish and SEND H <3 M E!!!
How are you???? Hugs....
Response: Thank you! Things are good...and they'll be even better when we pass the winter solstice coming up next week. It's sooooo dark all the time in December...when you live in the 2nd cloudiest US city.
Comment: Thanks for the postcard! It was lovely. I haven't finished the Anne of Green Gables books but I do love the ones I have read. Random fact: My mum is called Marilla but she was named after Anne's daughter Marilla (Rilla of Ingleside - I have read this one). :)
Response: You're welcome. Marilla is such a beautiful name. Knowing how popular the story is I'm surprised we don't hear it more often. I should read that one again. It's been a long while.
Comment: None of these boards is clearly in the theme of flowers, but I guess you've pinned at least 30 pcs of flowers according to the rules of swap anyway ;) Thanks for sharing. I especially like the board with violet flowers. I love purple/violet color :)
Response: Thanks, I'm glad the violet flowers were of interest to you.
Comment: Hello Tamara,
thank you for your nice postcard and beautiful stamps, I love dragons and I have never seen these dragon stamps before! You have also very nice handwriting :-) Have a nice day,
Response: Aren't those dragon stamps amazing? There are several colors and types in the series. Glad you received my postcard.
Comment: Tamara, thank you for the postcard of the Hackley Home. I always wanted to live in a home like that. I have been told by my youngest granddaughter to stop making things for AG dolls. She has plenty as she has her older sister's and all the things I made and bought for her. My two great granddaughters have told me the same that they have too much. So I have stopped and reverted to making afghans for everyone instead. Shirley
Response: The inside of the home is a-MAZE-ing. So of the showpiece areas for guests were detailed by hand carvers. Afghans can be fun, too. :o)
Comment: Thank you for your letter! I loved reading about your yarn goals. To answer your question, I donate about 20 hats each year. I also crochet cat beds for the local animal shelter.
Response: 20 hats is an amazing number - wow! Do you mind sending me a PM with the Ravelry or other link for the cat bed pattern? I have some stash busting yarn and it'd be nice to donate some beds to the shelter where I adopted my cats.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely sticker bags! It had never occurred to me to create a sticker bag with a theme, and I really love that idea. I'm definitely going to try it for the next swap. I'm also happy to get a bag that's a "homer". I'll send it home to its creator soon! And also thanks for the bonus washi tape!
Response: Wonderful! That was the first theme I've seen, too.
Comment: Wow, sounds like you and your family are having a great time! My sister and her family used to do that every summer before her kids left home. Love the ATC, especially the "movement" it conveys, makes me happy! Thank you!
Comment: Hi, Tamara! Thanks so much for your beachy postie and note. I don't have any big plans for the summer, though I would like to hit the pool a few times... and not get roasted in the process. Haha! I hope you're able to get to the beach more and you don't have a scorcher! <3
Response: Here's to not roasting at the beach! :o)
Comment: Thank you for the cool bear notecard, your note, and the tea! To answer your question, I make a bunch of items for my Etsy shop. I love to crochet hats and cowls the most, but I crochet other things, like scarves, mason jar covers, etc. For the past two months or so, I've been crocheting a bunch of cat beds to donate to the local animal shelter.
Response: That's a nice variety. I love that you're donating cat beds. We adopted 2 cats from a local shelter and they "moved in" with commercially made beds of their own. The cats safe place for a few weeks was their beds.
Comment: Thank you for your beautiful ATC, Tamawi :) You said in your little note that you need more practice - I disagree, I think it looks fantastic! Makes me think of dancing and swirling snowflakes :) Keep warm and stay safe xx
Response: Thanks for appreciating it! One of the things I like about Zentangle is the final result is not what I might expect in the beginning. Surprise outcomes are okay. I look forward to your future swaps.
Comment: Everything about this swap was stunning! From the cool envelope and art, to the stationary and your beautiful handwriting, to the cute mini envelope you put the stamps in! Thank you also for the variety of stamps. I would give you 2 hearts if I could and a 10! Thank you! And I almost forgot the awesome washi tape!
Response: You're welcome! Thank you for your kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed the packaging as much as what was inside.
Comment: Hi, Tamara, thank you for the beautiful floral pc! My crazy quilt is still in the works I’m afraid. It’s all been about paper crafting this year. It will be a long process because once it is pieced together, there will be hours and hours of embroidery! Loads of fun but very time consuming. Your mini knitted Afghan sounds like a lovely project. Hope you finish it soon! â¤ï¸
Response: It's not about when we finish our project, but the process. :o) I hadn't thought about it, but l bet the embroidery does take a long time.
Comment: FABULOUS! WONDERFUL! AMAZING! Yes, I'm shouting! Did you knit that little tree? It's fantastic.
It's funny too because only recently have I picked up my knitting again.
Again, this is absolutely wonderful and will have a prominent place on my tree this year and for many years to come!
Love the origami star!
ps - The packaging was great too. I can never seem to pull that off.
Response: Your shouting is the kindest I've ever received - thanks! I did knit the little tree. I'm on cloud 9 that I discovered a new use for my tiny knits...altered tins. It's a perfect coincidence that you picked up your knitting again. Happy knitting!
Comment: Cool & complex start. I really like the shiny green mesh against the torn printed background. The washi tape you used on the envelope is just the right colors - pink and lime - so I used that as my contribution.
Response: I can picture it in my mind's eye. I'm glad you enjoyed working on it.
Comment: Love the atc you sent, Tamara! I can't seem to get the embossing quite right either! Thank you for sharing! #1 Ladies Detective Agency series is my favorite! We just listened to two new books on tape on our vacation! Loved both of them!
Response: Did you spot the tiny bird on the ATC? I hadn't noticed it until I was slipping it in the envelope for you. Yay for #1 Ladies!
Comment: I love the little bicycle...I've admired them on different websites, but don't have the talent or patience! Thanks also for the cute owl "coozie"---another project that I can't even attempt to make---I hit the jackpot!! thank you for an amazing swap!
Response: You're welcome! I am glad you like the button duo. I decided Sisters of the Holy Crap swaps are like a MacGyver show...you have buttons, yarn and wire...make something!
Comment: Thanks for the happy tulip ATC card. I love origami. My Gramma planted tulips like crazy -- all colors, sizes, and varieties. My favorite color is purple so a purple tulip would be quite welcome in my yard! :) Thanks for hosting such a fun swap. <3<3<3
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the tiny origami tulips. I'll bet your grandma had a beautiful spring garden! And thank you for joining my swap.
Comment: Thanks for the card, I will ad and send it along. I hope to the usa so the stamp doesn't get wasted.
Response: You're welcome. I wondered about the stamp, but noticed the host adds a note in the description about leaving off the stamp for future postcards. I have my fingers crossed that your next partner will be from the US. :o)
Comment: Thanks Tamara for your note and i am working on it now to send out to the originator of this project! It is awesome! Will take a picture of it before it gets mailed on Monday! I am going to add some color to it and i feel a line drawing at this time. You guys did a great job! Bye for now! The originator will LOVE this! Hehe!
Comment: I love the way you did the masterball and it looks great on that background!! It's so funny that it came to day be i havent seen your name come up in a swap or two and i was like oh no i hope Tamawi isnt burnt out of swaps!!! i was going to message you today! but then your masterball came and i was like oh vacation that makes sense and then i was like i wanna vacation in maine! Jealous! i hope your trip went well! As always you know i freaking love how you paper piece! thank you!
Response: Glad to hear you like the master ball. I've been obssessed with Pokemon Picross on 3DS. Do you like that one? It's like Minesweeper...kinda.
Comment: Always love getting atcs from you and to get one of my favorites is awesome <3 I don't remember what episode Dragonite first showed up, I want to say it was in the original series ith the misty light house and bill...
Response: You're welcome. I just HAD to make it when I saw a "D" listed in your favorites. I only make a pokemon once...😊
Comment: Thank you. It's weird, the envelope and postcard made it to me but it was open. (As in the tape was cut open and not sealed) I'm always perplexed when something unusual happens with the mail and so grateful that most is sent and received with no issues. ;D I look forward to adding to it.
Comment: Omg the colors you chose for misty's background are perfect!!! Omg i love her i love that you did her doing a peace sign like she does in the show!! You chose the perfect colors for her as you always do! It looks just like her! Your paper piecing is always mindblowing to me! I love it thank you!!
Response: You are the best, Lyzz! ;o) I figured I should make a Misty ATC, since Togepi is my favorite pokemon.
Comment: Omg your buttfree is awesome and the the background is awesome too! This must have taken so freaking long! Live thelittle pokeball good to see those getting used! Your art always blows me away! Thank you i love it!!
Response: The background credit goes to another swapper who sent it to me in a background ATC paper swap last year. She makes the most incredible gelli prints! It took me months of admiring them and this was the first I actually used as an ATC background. It seemed perfect for Butterfree's ATC. I love including the little pokeballs you made and sometimes wonder how you make them (you'll have to explain sometime). Anyhow, thanks for the kind words!
Comment: Got the mail and was like white enevlop holy moly i dont think i have seen Tamawi use anything but her hand made enevlops before opened it up and it was an awesome eevee! I love how you paper piece i have only paper piece one atc it took forever. I love him!!! Thank you and so glad you are excited about the pokemon person i am too!!!
Response: I gotta keep you on your toes. I liked how eevee's expression turned out on that ATC. Just you wait, I'm working on the pokemon person ATC right now.
Comment: Yay, another of your atc's for my collection! Bonsly is such a cutie. I love how you use different textures and layers in the atc, such a fun look! I googled dish gardens and they look amazing...I have to show my mom :-) I hope yours turned out well ^_^
Response: You'll have to let me know if your mom tries one out. I'm going to upload my gnome garden pic to my Flickr. It was fun to put together.
Comment: I am not fan of celebrities but I do not mind passing this along. I tried thinking of movies or celebrities to recommend you to focus on but I ended up just coming up with cartoons! While there are some live action things I like I couldn't really name any actors that I could recommend or name movies I like! No worries though! <3
Response: It's okay because it wasn't entirely my cup of tea either. If only I'd had the Pokemon one from a while back. Thanks for passing it along.
Comment: Hi Tamara! Loved this swap! You had me at your sweetly decorated envelope! :-) Thanks for the nice note and the goodies. I especially loved the hand made floral envie. You have beautiful handwriting! I will use everything! Valerie
Response: Oh goody, I'm glad you'll enjoy using the tidbits! I'll definitely join this swap again because it was just as much fun sifting through my supplies to send out as seeing what I received.
Comment: What a beautiful swap. Your packaging was lovely and the inside even better. Your heart was cute and well crafted and the little bonus mouse was a sweet gesture. Thanks for joining my swap and being such a great partner. You rock! :)
Response: You're welcome! I'm looking forward to the next swap.
Comment: Loved the postcard! I've got spring fever also. Last week we went to Disneyworld and it was 30 degrees! We had to buy hats, scarves and gloves! We were wearing so many layers, if we fell down, we would have never gotten up!we were so very cold, I think I haven't totally warmed up yet!😀
Response: You're welcome. It was 40 here last weekend and I was so excited to go outdoors without my winter coat. In the fall I can't leave the house at that same temp without all my gear. Hah!
Comment: OMG TAMAWI! i love the stunfisk i was totally going to make him but ended up doing Voltorb! and OMG THE ACTUAL POKEMON CARD I CONFIRMED THIS MORNING NO I DIDNT HAVE HIM!!! You totally out did your self this ttime lady! i was so excited even posted a pic on FB... BeyondLyzz Thank you very much you are the best!
Response: When I was 'researching' Stunfisk I saw "a sumo wrestler could stand on it" and I thought that was funny. I'm glad the actual card was one you needed for your set, too. Yay!
Comment: OMG! TAMAWI! You totally out did your self... you seem to always one up your self with these pokemon! i love him! the paper piecing is insane!!! Must have taken FOREVER! thank you i love him!!!!
Comment: I love the Golden Mean! What a creative idea for an atc. I love how it is on a paper with a list or tables, I also love the vintage playing card you used to make it sturdy, so cute. Then the special candy corn surprise, what a treat! Thank you so much for such a lovely swap :) many hearts!
Response: I enjoyed making both of these for you very much. Hooray for math and candy!
Comment: I love this little Goomy. I love the paper layering its one of my favorite techniques. Also the washi that you use are cool, wish I could get my hands on pop culture washi. Let me know if you want to do swaps in the future, maybe a washi one haha ;P <3
Response: I appreciate your kind words and am please you like it. I'd look foward to a future swap of washi.
Comment: Thank you for the cute atc, I did not have a Gettysburg one yet strangely. Thank you for the facts about the watch too. I actually saw it, while I was in D.C. and they said nothing about the message. I looked it up today though. What a great story!!! I also love your story about the photo you bought in Springfield! I want to go there, as I have never been before. =) Great envelope too.
Response: You're welcome. I'm glad you thoroughly enjoyed receiving this one.
Comment: Oh my gosh lady how cool and awesome was your pokemon i dont have it in front of me so i cant spell it without i am so glad you still are doing the fun hand made enevlops thank you for joining and i was so excited to receive your pokemon and the note ob the back of the pokeball was so fking genius i might steal that!!! Thank and you did AMAZING job i love the paper piecing! Thank you so much i will have to send you some pictures of yours in my note book!
Response: Wow, thank you for the kind words! You're very welcome!
Comment: Hi Tamara - Thank you for the warm welcome to Swap-bot. I love the fabulous envelopes you created. I love the extra touches like the flowers, lining and the die-cut flap. I will have to remember to try that on my envelopes!
Comment: I can't believe you sent me a JELLYFISH ATC!! Happy dance! I love the way you layered the umbrella and tentacles. And the zentangled background is sweet. The haiku is perfect too. Plus a pig envelope, puffin sticker, Janis Joplin stamp -- you hit it out of the ballpark. You deserve a 100 hearts! :) Thank you thank you!
Response: You're welcome! I was picturing how 100 ♡s would fill the ratings page. Hearts everywhere!
Comment: Thank you very much for the cutely crafted Pikachu ^__^ Love it<3 I'm happy you enjoyed the swap ^__^ Also thanks for the cute little extras :3 That Hajimaron Pokemon card sleeve is sooo cute too! ^__^
Response: You're welcome! I would never have thought to dress up a pokemon as another pokemon - such fun.
Comment: ;w; your card is so adorable!! I bet ledyba saw a tasty Bulk berry when he made that adorkable face! your samurai hat is amazing and I love the envelope you made for me too! thank you very much!!!
Response: You're welcome - I'm glad Ledyba flew to your house. ;o)
Comment: Wonderful job. You are right..those little quilt blocks are tough to do..much harder than the big ones, but they were fun to do. Yours was really complicated but very beautiful also. Thank you.ðŸ˜
Response: You're welcome, I'm happy to hear you liked what I created for you. Now if I could only train a little gnome to cut the triangles out.
Comment: OOOOOHHHH…. you are so correct this is just right up my alley…and I have an idea how to finish it uP and send it home the Rosalie….. I will follow your idea on the side with some ocean water and surfers with "hang ten…..hang loose…. hang out…..Love then envie and the stamp was not cancelled so will recycle them~! Happy swapping…..
Response: Surfing, how clever! It's funny how a seemingly simple theme like "water" can lead us all in a new direction. The genius of pass-n-paste.
Comment: Thank you very much for your ATC! I love it! I'm unfamiliar with any of the 'newer' pokemon, any after year 2000 and I'm stumped! lol I certainly love learning about them though. As A kid I had them all memorized, Maybe one day I'll catch up and memorize all the new ones too ^_^
Response: Oh so many Pokemon, oh so little time! :o)
Comment: *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧Electrode! You never know if an item, or a pokemon in the game! I never got to watch many pokemon eps, mainly because they hardly played it on TV, and partly because my mum thinks its childish. "You will grow out of it" she would say, and still thinks as I'm now 18 and still a fanatic! I'll have to look that one up! Thanks again! *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧
Response: Ha, well I only saw it recently on DVD. My family had a no TV on school nights rule growing up. They are quite a dangerous infestation, as you might imagine..
Comment: *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧Thanks for the cute Darumaka. Did you know they are based on a Daruma doll. You color in one of their eyes while making a wish or setting a goal, and then you color the other once the wish/goal has been fulfilled. *:･ﾟ✧*:･ﾟ✧
Response: I didn't know that! What an interesting tidbit of info.
Comment: Apparently this rating was not rated but i did wrote on it... sorry about that dear

Response: You're very welcome! Gosh, I don't think I could ever repeat that Sylveon. Ribbons and bows-oh my!
Comment: Thank you for the colorful zentangle. Yes, roadside attractions are awesome. I am going on a Florida road trip in December and hope to see lots of fun stuff. If you ever get over to Charlevoix, you should check out the World's Largest Cherry Pie. ;)
Response: You're welcome. Largest Cherry Pie you say?! Thanks for the hot tip.
Comment: You have sent the perfect mailart swap! The envelope is exquisite and addressed beautifully, the ATC is perfect and interesting and also beautiful, the extra matryoshka is such a sweet bonus...the note, coordinating with the envelope is friendly and informative- all in all a swap I thoroughly enjoyed receiving! Many thanks, Tamawi!
Response: Thank you for your kind words. I am glad you enjoyed what I created for you.

Comment: Thankyou Tamara for the lovely Summer pins, I enjoyed looking at them. I also love to knit. I love the fried egg, the piggies are cute, and I love th teapot cover. Have a nice day Tamara, love Jennifer.
Comment: Thank you Tamara for the lovely ATC, loved everything about it. Thank you for the bookmark, it will officially be the new one I use from now on :-) loved the Pokemon Washi tape! You must tell me where you got it or maybe ever swap some. Loved everything, even the envelope details :-) very well thought out. Look forward to future swaps.
Response: You're welcome! I've been waiting for just the right crowd to share some of the pokemon goodies. A friend of mine recently traveled to Japan and went to the Tokyo Pokemon Center. I'm unsure if the tape is available outside of Japan.
Comment: Thank you so much for the little friends! I absolutely love the shrimp! He's sitting here next to my computer and he's just gorgeous. Thank you also for the little extras - I have already used the large eye needles and they are fabulous. I have never seen them before and they are so useful.
Response: You're welcome! I had an absolute ball swapping with you.
Comment: Hi Tamara, I received the first envelope, thanks a lot for everything!! I expecially like the origami envelope as I make small origami envelopes from time to time. This one is a new one for me! I am glad you like the quinoa recipe : ) Big hug, Patrizia
Response: You're welcome! I'm glad to hear the first envelope arrived. I had an origami envelope craze one day a while back and searched online for new patterns to try.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful ATC! I loved it :). And thank you so much for joining my swap! I also love sims but my hubby thinks it's only for girls :P, sadly. I wish he would have tried it too :D.
Response: Ha! Well he's definitely missing out! (You're welcome.)
Comment: Hello Tamara,
Thank you for the beautiful Y-axis ATC you created for me for this swap. The use of the zentangle for the background was a clever idea. It added a lot to the ATC, but did not distract from the y-axis display. This ATC will be a great addition to my Geometry Series. I hope you will join our last one in our series too.
Response: Oh good, I'm glad you liked it. I went to check on the last ATC for the series and I missed the sign-up date for zero dimensions. Bummer.
Comment: Thanks for tne images. I love the Lucky Cat, the gnome and the handmade by, the best! I love your handmade envelopes, thanks! If I need some more Lucky Cats, I know where to get them! = ) ♡♥♡♥♡ Oh, and thanks for the interesting postage! Marilyn was hanging by a thread but she held on!
Response: Poor Marilyn, I'm glad she made it in the end! I hope the Lucky Cat brings you good fortune. ;o)
Comment: Absolutely loved it. It is an amazing freebie (artsy one) and I'm so glad your cheese store(!) gives them away or else I would have never got to enjoy it! Thank you for the amazing addition to my collection :). Also thank you for the additional card! It is so beautiful and elegant. By the way, Keroro is super funny, you should keep watching it! Thank you again for the two awesome cards!
Comment: Got the package and I'm in love! :) Thank you very much. It's funny, because I sent my partner multiple pacman crafts, just to receive them myself in the mail!! hehe! But thank you so much, and all the crafts and goodies are very cute. PM me some time-- I'd love to hear how you made the awesome ring!
Response: Yay! Great minds think alike...what can we say, Pacman is an icon.
Comment: Thanks for the bags! I really like the envelope for the bag you made for yourself :) Just something to watch out for in future sticker bag swaps: You were the fifth signer on one of the bags which means you should have sent it back to the owner instead of forward to me. I don't mind sending it on; I just wanted to give you a heads up since this is your first sticker bag swap!
Response: Was it the one with two labels on the front and a few passes on the back? I really agonized over that one, and even asked other people's opinion. Ultimately, it looked like numbering started on 2 instead of 1 and I didn't send it home. Thank you for sending it on.
Comment: Tamara, I LOVE the postcard of the "world's biggest weathervane"! That's pretty cool/kitschy/fun! I moved from the midwest (Illinois) to Florida about a year and a half ago, so I am missing the autumn and winter like crazy....Christmas doesn't feel right here....bummer...Thanks so much for the card! (also love the big "S" for my name!)..have a great week!
Response: Hey Sandi, I'd send you some snow through the mail if it'd last!
Comment: Thank you SO much for the seeds! And the pretty envelope you decorated. I am really happy about Money Plant seeds you sent. I have been trying unsucessfully for years to grow them. Now, I have enough seeds from you that I should suceed, regardless. I am SO happy about these! I would give you 10 hearts if I could. Thanks again!!! :-)
Response: I'm so glad you liked them, that swap was a lot of fun!
