Comment: Thanks for this beautiful decorated envie and extra pc's! It took 3 days to get from Homer to here. Not bad for over the weekend, and our PO is closed on weekends. We took one of the Kilcher's Landing craft, to bring our house supplies here in 1998. It took us 24 hours because we had perfect weather. Stay safe and healthy! Hugs from Larsen Bay, Sherry
Comment: Thanks for the postcards and the stickers! I do art journal in fits & starts - I like that it's low pressure. In terms of mixed media, I enjoy making abstract collages with painted papers. I use different things for mark-making: paint pens, gel pens, student-grade pastels, acrylic & India ink. I like playing with all different kinds of materials! And I rarely attempt to do anything realistic. :) Right now all of my postcards are in an Amazon box (or two...). I don't really "collect" them per se - I enjoy the hobby of sending out & receiving mail, just for the activity itself.
Comment: Hi thank you for the nice cards and stickers. The weather here is still cool not quite summer yet but no snow thankfully. All of my cats are rescues I’ve gotten them from other people who no longer cared for them. They are my babies. they are short hair American cats. I don’t have a garden I live in a condo but I would love to have one. I haven’t sketch in a while but I would love to get back into it. Hope you’ enjoy doing watercolors that sounds like a lot of fun!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely swap.
I absolutlsy love everything you sent.
May I ask where you got those awesome stickers. The toucan, bird, and fox in old fashioned frames.
The toucan one is almost identical to my next tattoo I'm planning to get.
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely postcards! I love them so much!! (ETA: I loved the stickers, too! Thank you!!) My favorite plants (that I own) are my red nerve plants. Normally, I travel for work - mostly to San Francisco. For personal, my favorite place is Disney & the UK. Our spring is in full bloom, now & I'm so happy it's here. It's a short season for us, though - summer will be here before we know it! lol
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful Homer, Alaska postcard! To answer your questions, I dont go to the beach as often as I should. But would love to have more time to go. My favorite postcard is one by a finnish artist Inge Looks Old Ladies. My favorite! Thank you so much! I would love to see Alaska one day it is one of my dreams!!
Comment: Thank you so much! I love everything but especially the joy, peace and love stickers! I love all the ABC mysteries. I was so sad when Sue Grafton died. Unless she wrote it before passing she didn't make it to Z. ☹
Comment: Great postcards! Thank you so much!! What a small world that you've been to Lancaster! I moved here in the mid-80's when I was a kid so I'm very much happy here! The postcards you sent me were absolutely stunning and I'm so excited for them! Thank you!
Comment: Thank you for the Alaskan postcards and also the bonus postcards - in my vintage theme also!! I've only landed in Anchorage as a layover to Korea and I really can't pick a favorite place to visit - because it would be like cheating on all my favorites!! Stay warm!! xxMuggleMom
Comment: Love this mapcard! I like mapcards so I can see the layout of each state or country. Typically the cards will show major or important areas in the state and I like to use them to get ideas for traveling. Right now my main travel destination in the states is California and overseas Germany.
Comment: Thank you so much for joining my swap! Growing up in a haunted place is really cool. When I moved off the lack of ghosts was a bit odd, haha. I do think I have a bit of a sixth sense with them. Some places I just get odd feelings like there is someone there with me. I also see a lot of things out of the corner of my eye.
Comment: I received your beautiful postcard today. Thank you so much, I really like it. I've been to Philadelphia twice, travelled to the US quite a few times as a volunteer and chaperone for students' exchanges. I hope you are having a wonderful day. Take care and stay safe!
Comment: Thank you! I love this black and white photo of Bozo the Bulldog. My travel is limited to the US and a few Caribbean islands. I love going to National/State parks and exploring the road less traveled.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely postcard. Yes I'm fairly near the Appalachian Mtns. I have done some hiking, to some waterfalls, and at Grandfather Mountain. I am closest to the Blue Ridge Mountains which is a part of the Appalachians. I even went there on my honeymoon. I used to go to Pisgah National Forest as a kid with my family.
Comment: Hi Monica! Thank you very much for the cards. It was very sweet of you to send 2 of them! In The Netherlands we don't have snow at the moment (we had some in March and for us that was already very weird), it is colder than it is supposed to be though :( But I hope spring starts for real soon!
Comment: Thank you for the book! I've never read any of the P&P off shoots before, though I've always been curious about them. The one you sent looks particularly interesting! I can't wait to get started!
Response: I have read most of the off shoots for P&P but really enjoyed this PD James one. Please let me know what you think!!
Comment: Oh, no, there are no wild blueberries here. We try to avoid meth heads and muggers! lol ☺ Some people drive across Indiana to Michigan by the lake for blueberry picking. I would like to do that some time. It's amazing where you live! I have a hard time imagining it, thank you for the postcard. Thank you for the painting!
Comment: Oh my! I love it all the tote is a great size for my new kindle. The extras inclucing the pcs love them! I really love the seam ripper can I say it is soooo pretty! The fabbie quarter is nice and I will be honest the flower embellishment I thought was a bird nest since that is a sign of wealth in the new year. So that is what I will pretend it is for my mini christmas tree! Thanks again for the spoiling! 50 more hearts to you!
Comment: This swap envie was filled to the brim with everything I love. I love the Batik FQ and the purple crocheded kitchen rag. The postcards of Alaska are breathtaking. The little notebooks, zentangles and stickers are especially lovely. There's a batch of flavored lip balms, soda pop magnet and Hello Kitty bell will look good hanging from anywhere. Last but not least -- My favorite -- COFFEE, COFFEE, COFFEE! From Alaska with a hilarious illustrated cover. I wish I could give you hundreds of stars. Thanks for making my day!! Susan
Comment: Monica, your package made my grumpy day! I laid in bed with a blue mood over powering, then I saw this package on my bed my son had put there with my mail. I opened it and it was fabulous! The ATC was great, and the extra were amazing! Yes I live in R.I. which is called "the Ocean State" I am on the east coast of the Atlantic ocean. thank you so much!
Comment: Yippee!! a card from Alaska!! Thanks so much!! To answer your question, I don't go on a lot of quilting retreats (especially if they cost a lot of $), but I belong to a group of ladies who get together for all day workshops and we have a ball!! Thanks again for the great PC!!!
Yesterday I recieved your swap and I love love love it...Never had a kitchentowel from New Zealand and I love the colourfull birds, I guess it are kiwi birds?
I love the stickers too.
Comment: Hi Monica, wow what a treat it was to open your envelope - your watercolor inchies are fantastic, and the cupcake is so cool! Thank you also for the extra cupcake stickers - I have not seen those before! I loved everything! :o)
Comment: What a great swap. Thank you so much for the nice selection of cards & extras. I've always admired the graphic designs of the Inuit; the one of the bird & seal in the boat is terrific. I'm going to send you a PM re. book swap, etc.
Comment: Thank you so much for putting together such an amazing swap. I loved everything! The little purse is *much* nicer than mine ever turn out, and I loved the beads on the zipper pull! And the fabric you sent along was just amazing! (I really want to know where you got it, because the quilt shops where I live don't sell anything near as cute.) Thanks again!
Response: Can you describe your favorite fabric to me? My fabric is collected from all over. I really wanted to send a piece of my current favorite fabric which is a batik but resisted. One can only have more fabric!! The bag is a new item for me. I wanted to make a small simple but not plain bag fully lined. Let me know what you put in your bag. Hope to see you in a swap soon!
Comment: Thank you for the package. You sent some really nice things...the only problem was that nothing was labeled so I have no idea what holidays you chose. I'd love to know. :) Everything was nice.
wow! what great package, thank you for the beautiful stickers, the lip balms are so small and cute, the post-its and the silly sentence thing, it will keep Anisha busy for awhile during the holidays.
Comment: Hi Monica thank you so much for the heartshaped ATC i love how all the watercolors blend so well together and thank you for the wonderful goodies and love the tuxedo sam and hello Kitty notebook and the origami paper. Lots of <3 <3 <3 to you! Thank you!
Comment: Oh my goodness what an awesome package!!! I love every single sticker you sent (especially the otters and disney ones!) and the post cards were just the icing on top! Thank you so much for an awesome swap :)
Comment: Thanks so much for the envelope of surprises! Most people don't consider the Disney stickers and owl stickers kawaii as they are not Japanese. (They are cute however, just letting you know!) Otherwise I think you did okay for one of your first kawaii swaps. =) I just learned how to make origami stars so those will come in handy. Thanks!
Comment: Hi Monica, I really love my package:) thank you do much, this is so wonderful. I am saving my puffin postcard. I cannot imagine seeing them or eagles flying as you say. Wow! Love love love my HK things( already chewed the gum ) the papers and soap are awesome and I love LOVE the Alaska memo pad. Sweet!!! I just loved it all, thank you.
