Comment: Thanks for the great postcards. I have never been to Zion National Park so that is a definite addition to my collection. I have been to the Arizona and the Grand Canyon, but did not have postcard. Happy holidays to you.
Comment: Hello Pam,
Thank you for the 3 postcards you sent me for the Postcard Pick-me-Up #9 Swap. I will add all three to my postcard collection, the Arizona one to my map collection.
Comment: Hello Pam,
Thank you for the 4 postcards you sent me for this swap. All 4 will be nice additions to my postcard collection. The Kansas map card is one I need and I like the Rembrandt painting.
Comment: Thank you for the pc! Such vast openness near you! We have less open land, more forest & houses. I hope you get some good rain! It's quite hot and humid here, but I'll take it because we had rain for almost 2 weeks straight!
Comment: Great PC . . . I hope you enjoyed your visit to Zion even though you didn't see any Bighorn!! The only place I've seen Bighorn is in Colorado and they are spectacular. . . but Zion is absolutely gorgeous don't you think? Thanks for the great PC and happy swapping ~~
Comment: Hello Pam,
Thank you for the 3 postcards you sent me to introduce me to your state for this swap. I was born in Nebraska, but did not spend much time there before moving on I have not been back since 1957, when I was born. I bet it has changed a lot. I will be happy to add these postcards to my postcard collection.
Comment: THANKS!!!!! You are so right we also live very rural and we have four deep freezers and going out is like a BIG DEAL!!! When we do go shopping we get a lot! LOL!!!! Thanks for the postcard! Hugs, Dawn Gallop
Comment: Hi Pam, received your postcard ! Nebraska looks so quaint and beautiful !! I live in a city so its all buildings and traffic jams every single day. Would love to visit your place if there's a chance one day! =) Have a nice day!
Comment: Nebraska! I can add this to my list if i don't have it already!! Thank you. And i can't believe that its almost halfway through june already. I swear is just flying by me!!! next thing i know its going to be feb and my son will be turning 2 lol :) Thank you again :D
Comment: Hi there! ~ Thanks so much for all your effort in trying to conform your selection of p/c's to my likes - I knowww - It's so difficult to find them with no writing on the front - But thanks SO very much for finding them - I really appreciate it - You totally went above and beyond the call of duty for this one! ~ Love them all. Thanks again.
Comment: Hi Pam: What a nice postcard!! I really like it. Well, I hope you have a great Summer whatever you may or may not do. The bus trip sounds nice, so I'm glad you were able to enjoy that. Thanks for the nice postcard and don't work too hard this Summer! Take some time to enjoy......Happy Swapping! :)
Comment: Thank you for the postcards. I love the rooster pc and I find the tornado card interesting with the "WHAT TO DO". Does the state of NE hand these out as a public service when tourists cross the state line? If not they should. lol Thanks again
Comment: Thank you for the postcards. I found the Road Archway museum interesting. In the western MA towns of Shelburn Falls and Buckand there is the Bridge of Flowers. It is a 400' old trolley bridge that spans the Deerfield River. Some 80 years ago it was converted into a garden pathway. It is a great place to visit.
Comment: Thank you for the Nebraska postcards. Snow!!!! That is a bad word in my vocabulary. It is why I moved from Massachusetts to North Carolina. Shirley
Response: I know....it's a four letter word as far as I'm concerned too. But when you farm in Nebr., there's not much you can do!!! Oh well, as long as spring follows and comes along quick.....maybe I'll make it through winter....!!!
Comment: I didn't receive Pam's package at first, but after prompt and cheerful messages, I received her replacement and I am very happy with it! I really like everything you included - especially the notepads, those are so useful! Thanks a bunch!
Response: I am so glad this was taken care of and that you liked the stuff I sent. And you are very welcome!!!!
Comment: hi Pam ... thanks for the swap . it definitely has been awhile hey :-) ... i have some excess , hope you dont mind me sending you some ... let me know if you cant take any excess now ... will only post it next monday . ...hope you doing well ... hug Fae :-)
Comment: I love any state map pc's even if I do have them already. I did have this one but used it in a previous swap so I'm very lucky to have received one from you, Thank you so much! Happy Swapping!
Comment: Thank you for all the fun booklets and the cheerful note--the bright paper and thoughtful words brought a bit of sunshine to this rainy dark day. A well deserved heart for you as usual. Thanks, Pam- ♥Debbie
Comment: You deserve more than one heart.....Thank you so much for the shower gel...I just used it yesterday and it is now one of my favorites. I love the planner and stickers.....I can't say thank you enough.
Comment: Love the Nebraska card! Don't think I've ever seen or heard a meadowlark, but would love to! I do know goldenrod - kind of majestic I think! I'm intrigued by your state motto - would like to learn the story behind that! Thanks for a fun interesting PC!! :)
Comment: Loved the super FUN singing card!! What a great surprise to open up....it really made me SMILE! So sorry for rating so late......I think my mind was on Christmas! Thank you again for such a great card and sweet note!
Comment: What a beautiful card. Thank you. We've had such a mild winter some of the cranes have spent the winter here. We see them in the corn fields now but in March we see many of them that stop over for the night. I' d never seen a PC with them on it.
Comment: Thank you for the Nebraska Map Postcard, Pam! You mentioned your temp for the day was 30 degrees, and I shivered just reading it! Thankfully we got up to 63 degrees today. I look forward to Spring...warmer temps and beautiful flowers!
Comment: What a neat concept to have a museum span across the highway! Thanks for the great postcard and it has been added to our list of things to do when we hit Nebraska... it is one of those states yet to be visited for us!
Comment: Hello. thanks for the nice mapcard. i hope you Christmas prep has been going well. I've shopped, I've wrapped, I've trimmed the tree and relaxed for a day. Now I need to make some Christmas cookies. Major undertaking - 20-25 dozen are needed. Wish me luck. Cheers
Comment: Hi Pam, I can only say I am guessing this card is from you.... as it came to me missing the bottom half.... not even the zip code was on the card.... and of course... I could barely make out it came from Nebraska.... so I am thinking it is your card to me... Thank you...so very much... but I only got half of it... Take care....Happy Holidays... Pat
Comment: Hi Pam! :) You're my first Nebraskan swapper as well. :) It's good to know I'm not the only one who knows about swap-bot. In a way, I envy your country life; I was never meant to be a city girl and there's something about those Sandhills... :) Happy holidays!
Comment: Pam, I loved the card, such a sweet kitty in a stocking. I don't think Santa will bring me a kitty this year :( as i already have 3!! I, too loved this swap. Merry Christmas!! Thanks for the stickers also!!
Comment: Thank you so much for the cute package of things! I love everything you sent...I'm especially excited about the Avon lip gloss as my mom used to sell it and I've happy memories of things like that! Have a great week!
Comment: Yes, we got slammed by the storm, 90 mph winds, which we can't call hurricane force winds for some bizarre reason, lots of snow and ice. I will take the hint about the postcard. Do you prefer animal or state information postcards?
Response: I love the touristy, state postcards!!! Thank you so much!!!
Comment: Thank you for the 4! lovely postcards. I greatly enjoyed the one of the tornado. And to answer your question on the envelope ... Yes, I felt the earthquake. I was at work on the 2nd floor of the building and was quite shaken literally and figuratively.
Comment: WoW!! What a GREAT pkg of blue goodies!! [blue is special to me since it is the color for most law enforcement]. I certainly can use everything...the stickers are adorable & will be used on holiday cards; I can always use new dishclothes, towels & pot holders and these are so pretty; the sticky notes are soooo cute; I needed a 2012 planner; the rick rac will be used on a sewing project; and I can always use paper clips; I will put the glass accent on a silver chain...a million thanks and hearts!! (=^.^=)
Response: I am so glad you liked everything. I had a blast shopping for it!!!! Thanks a bunch for the heart!!!!!
Comment: Terrific postcard! Thanks so much! Brings back memories of teaching my 5th graders social studies (& when that was a HOT computer game program...the students would vie for computer time to play it)! Great memories!
Comment: Thank you for the Nebraska postcard. When I was in high school, I passed thru Nebraska on a class trip. We saw Lincoln from far away & I often think about it - it was glowing white and sticking up out of big flat fields. Amazing. I always thought I would love to live in Nebraska for those huge fields. :)
Comment: Hi Pam, and thanks so much for the great Nebraska postcards, I love 'em. Thanks too for the extra blank one with flower border. I'll send that to a close friend with some rubber stamps on it. Take care & have a great weekend. ;)
Comment: LOVE this card from Nebraska... we came SO close to visiting your state the last time we were in Colorado but didn't make it across the state line. Our son has been to Broken Bow, though, for work.
Comment: Thank you for the wonderful birthday card, stickers and lovely note! I enjoyed reading about you and your life on the farm! :) It really made my day getting your card! I envision your life on the farm with your animals - I would love to spend a day in your shoes with all of the furbabies! I love cats, so that would be a dream! We have three of our own and they're our kiddos! I hope you have a wonderful birthday and enjoy your birthday month, too! :) Cheers!
Comment: I know, technically I was supposed to wait till closer to my birthday to open it...but well...you know how that goes! I love everything!! The beads are great, the magazine is my favorite to read, and the socks are heavenly!! The cats have run off with their toys and claimed the box and the calender sits on my desk. Thank you so much!!! It really made my day ^_^
Comment: Aw, what a darling kitten card!!! So sweet and tiny and fluffy!! I LOVED reading about your farm and life with cats. I love imagining you standing at the door "letting cats in and letting cats out" ha ha!! Your story is so opposite of my cat story! You're living the dream - enjoy it! And I've already put the extra card to good use - perfect timing. Thank you!! I loved this swap idea!!
Comment: The capital is a new card to me from you, but I had bought one this summer when I drove through. Now I'll be able to send my new one to someone else. Cool. I much prefer the written ones. Cheers.
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful postcards. I think it would be amazing to live in such a beautiful area as photographed on your Nebraska postcards, however I can't imagine having to drive 30 for groceries. Thanks for the three postcards, and I am just fine with you mailing all your cards together. :) Jen
Comment: Hello Pam - I just found the map card you sent me. I don't know where it was hiding this whole time. I am so sorry for the delay in rating you. I love this card, and I don't have this exact one. I really like the ones that look vintage, like they are from the 60s, like this one. Best wishes, Debbie
Comment: Hello Pam- Thanks so much for the beautiful postcard with the barn on it. I like old barns, too. I hope your weather is still nice there. It's 40s and windy here, so no more leaves on the trees. :( Best wishes, Debbie
Comment: Pam, You have no idea what the bookmark means to me...and I recieved a verse life this from my Dad years...ago... it instantly brought me back to this time in my life...meaning so much...thank you so very much your such a dear.... Pat
Comment: Thank you for the goodies, I wanted to list them and cannot read my own handwriting again. I do remember beads, cookbook, jewelry, buttons, hair pretties, ATC, crocheted flower, pretty something, cant read what, water can thingy, embroidery. and some more, thank you.
Comment: Thanks for the extra goodies. One prob with this swap though, my addy was written incorrectly and there was postage due on it :( So it took a bit longer to get to me but I did finally get it yesterday.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard. I think it's the first time I got one with cows on it.Good luck planting your wheat and harvesting your corn. Doing that is it really hard?, I hope you have a lot of help.
Comment: Thank you. The harvest is getting underway here, frost is a threat. I'm leaving my garden to the last night by covering with sheets at night for now. Gives me time to put things up for the fall. I'm loving the apple harvest right now.
Comment: Wow, that is what I call living. I was raised on a very small farm as it was considered in Massachusetts. We raised 3/4 acres of tobacco and a good size vegetable garden. I always wanted to live on a huge farm like yours. Can't imagine having all those cows. Now that I'm retired, I love living were it is warm all the time.
Comment: Hi ! Thanks for the Nebraska map card, didn't have that one. I really enjoyed reading your letter. I've lived in the country about half my life. I miss it so much ~ born a buckeye, but lived in Missouri for a lot of years on a 50 acre farm. We had chickens, raised feeder pigs, small number of cattle, two horses and like you lots of cats! They seem to multiply fast, lol The shopping would be the only draw back, I do really enjoy our scrapbooking store & thrift stores. The quietness would be heaven though. Take care & thanks again, Judy
Comment: Thank you so much for the Nebraska card! I really would LOVE to live in the country and farm, but it's getting harder and harder to find even a little farmette for a reasonable price in Wisconsin!
Comment: Thanks for the post card. Actually, Irene was fine... Lee was the real threat. A week ago started the beginning of the worst flood this area has ever seen. There's so much destruction here, it's awful. My house is ok but I think everyone in the area is close to someone who lost everything.
Comment: Thanks for the postcard. Actually, you didn't send me 2 of the same so it worked out. I can see how that can happen though- making a mental note myself to be careful of that. Mail is always good though.
Comment: Hi Pam - Yours is the first card I've received showing the NE state capital - thank you. I worked at the MN state fair last weekend - a fundraising stint selling mini doughnuts - it's always fun.
Comment: thanks so much for the fabric, yes I do like the small pieces too. I do totes and I like to do patchwork on them, so this gives me patterns I don't have, These will work right in with what I have. Big star for you!! ha ha
Response: I'm WAY behind in responding....I'm so glad you liked what I sent!!! Thanks for the heart!!!!
Comment: Cute FB...I'll have to look up all of the acronyms, lol. Thanks for sending extras to pass on as well. It's nice to see what others look like. For some reason I had a different idea of what "signing" meant. I will keep you in mind when swapping fb's and pc's!
Comment: I had so much fun opening this package. I especially loved that you like to recycle things too! Thank you so much for the thoughtful swap.
Response: Hey there, I am way behind on responding to ratings. Trying to play catch up a bit this evening. I'm so glad you liked what I sent. I always have fun with these kind of swaps. Thanks so much for the heart!!!
Response: Hey there Faeeka, I am trying to catch up on responding to ratings. Glad you liked the goodies and thanks for the heart. I have another envie ready to go to you. It will probably go out Monday. Have a great weekend!!!!
Comment: Thanks for the lovely beverages; the juice sachets were really different. We don't have anything like that over here (I showed them to the other people in my house and they all 'ooh'ed at them!) I've heard of Celtic Thunder but I don't know much about them, sorry. I believe thay are from a bit of a mix of places; both Ireland (North and South) and Scotland.
Response: Hi there, I am playing catch up on responding to ratings. I'm so glad you liked what I sent. If you'd like me to send more of any of the beverages, just let me know. I'm be happy to do it. And thank you for the heart!!!!
Comment: loved the sticker sheets and thank you so much for it...Take care...Pat and all that you put in extra..... thank you so very much
Response: Hi Pat, I'm so waaayyy behind responding to ratings. I'm glad you like everything I sent and thank you for the heart!! Has it cooled off up there? It's cool here. It didn't get out of the 50's today. Fall might be around the corner. Later....
Comment: Wow! Thank you so much for the tea. I can't wait to try them all! ... definitely was part of the heat wave, yes. What's worse is that we don't have air conditioning or anything in our apartment. The humidity just kills. Anyway, I hope the wheat harvest is good. :)
Response: Hi Dot, Yes, I'm waaaayyy behind on responding to ratings. The heat is gone and now it's cold. Didn't get out of the 50's today. Brrrrr!!! Fall has arrived. Thanks for the heart!!!
Comment: I'm having a great summer. Our weather has been great here. I love the hot hot days. Our winters are so cold here
Response: Hi Jennifer, Yes, I am WAY behind on responding to ratings. I would imagine you have reallly cold and long winters there. I guess I'm too picky. I don't like it too hot or too cold. Has it been cool up there this past week? Our high didn't get out of the 50's today. BRRRRR!!!! Thanks for the heart!!!!
Comment: Thank you so very much for the thoughtful items you sent to my two little cats! I see that you spend time reading my profile, and really put effort into it! I suspect you spent more than $10 too! You are amazing and generous! This is why I am giving you a 5 plus a heart.
Response: You are very welcome and thanks for the heart!!!
Comment: Hello Pam -Thanks for the nice postcard of Nebraska. I have been through your state several times, and I have a true appreciation for all of those fields full of crops. Farmers feed the world! Best wishes, Debbie
Response: you're welcome and thanks for the heart!!!
Comment: Yes, we've had a few hot days here as well. Just got back from my hubby and i's first camping trip, but we got rained on. The stickers you sent were awesome, especially the gem strawberry and the hello kitty stickers. :)
Response: you're welcome and thanks for all the hearts!! i do appreciate them. Sorry it's taken me so long to respond to your comment. I tend to put this off for a while. Have a great Sunday. Did you get in on Irene?
Comment: Hi Pam! Love the Nebraska postcard with all the cattle! I've lived on farms about half my life but stuck in the city now :( I miss the quietness and the sounds of nature. Thanks & Take care, Judy
Comment: What a great envie of goodness you sent, love it all! Jeff loved the cookbook as he is a Chef! Can't wait for him to try some new stuff. I love the papers, the Halloween goodies, the bath salts!!! and just everything. I really lucked out this time. Hugs & 100 Hearts, Mona
Response: Aw..thanks for the great comments. This is exactly the reason I like doing these swaps. I just want to make my partners happy. I try really hard to send things my partners would like. It's more important to me to make you (my partners) happy than be being happy with what I receive. And I love this kind of swaps. I send as much stuff as I can. Your comments just made my evening. Even brought a tear to my eye. You have a great weekend and tell Jeff to have fun cooking!!!
Comment: Thank you for being so kind, and sending me such wonderful postcards, and for sending me some for the grandkids. That is very sweet of you. Betsy Layne is a very small town. I am unsure what the population is here, but we are out in the country, and I love it. Thanks again for the GREAT cards.
Response: I'm glad you liked them! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: i am assuming this was damaged in mail it was received taped together just so you know it was like it was tore in half and taped back together
Response: Oh my gosh....Would you like me to send another one? If you want another one of the same, you'll have to tell me what if is of. I probably have another one (I hope). If you read my profile, that's one thing I mentioned...I prefer pc's send in envies because I hate them damaged by the postoffice. Please let me know if you would like another one. I would be more than happy to send you one. I only want to make my swappers happy. That's what makes me happy.
Comment: Thanks for the fbs, fss and label bag. You are right, I live in a rural area and I love it. We're not too far from a small town and about 30 miles to a bigger city that has everything you could want.
Response: You are very welcome. We, also live in a very rural area. About 8 miles from a small village and 30 miles from a town of 7500.
Comment: Thanks =) I'm learning a lot about Nebraska here, I wouldn't even have been able to place it on a map when I started getting cards from you. We had the last bit of snow May 10th and the fist after a "long summer" (haha) September 24th last year. It's not that bad this year (I hope), but still... There is not much summer going on up here. That's why we have started going on holiday in Africa ;P The desert is a good indicator of nice weather.
Response: WOW, that envelope got to you quick, this time. Actually 6 days. Impressive!! I'm so glad you have liked the postcards I've sent. It's another HOT day here today, AGAIN!!! I'm ready for a little cooler. Thanks for the heart!!!
Comment: thanks for the lovely nebraska postcards! Wow, that is hot! I vaguely understand farenhite but it is usually around (15-20C) 75-70F here and the hottest it has ever been this summer is (25C) 85F, I think. it's quite cold for summer. But that's Ireland :)
Response: You are very welcome. Wow!! I'd love it to be 15-20C (70-75F). It was 102F at 7:00 this evening. Too hot!!!
Comment: Wow!!! What an amazing package, thank you so much for all the wonderful goodies!! Can you PM me about what to do with the label bag? I'm not quite sure and don't want to mess it up! Thanks so much!!! :)
Comment: I love this pc of Nebraska farmland. Thank you for letting me spend a moment in time there. We do have a heatwave here, but it has dropped into the high 80s today. Thank you for your little note on the card.
Response: I'm so glad you liked it. It was hot again here today. We were in McCook at 7:00 and it was 102.
Comment: Thank you so much for all these lovely fabrics, I love them all. I didn't receive the fabrics for swap #8 yet, but will wait for them still untill 12 weeks have passed, otherwise I will PM you, then you know it is lost in transit. South African postal service sucks. NO JOKES! Thank again, :D
Comment: Thanks so much for the stickers, I got them yesterday in the post. I really like the fuzzy ones :3
Also, the weather here is awesome, not hot at all. If you get a chance check our weather: Santa Maria, CA. You may get a tad jealous :p It's not often up in the 80s here... even in the summer we only get a few warmer days.
Response: So glad you liked them. Yes, I'm jealous of your weather. It was up to 100 again today. I think it's suppose to stay there for awhile. It wouldn't be so bad if we could get a rain once in a while. I have a friend who used to live in San Luis Obispo. And she has a daughter and granddaughter that lives in Paso Robles. Those are in your neighborhood, aren't they? I'm a map nut and am always looking up towns.
Comment: Very nice!! I still love the fact that your postcards get a round stamp and not one of those ugly inkjet postmarks! I'm going to transfer to Winthrop University in the fall so I'm trying to get an MPP in Rock Hill, SC. Have a great week :)
Response: I'm glad you liked it. I like the round stamps much better also. More than half the time those inkjet postmarks are unreadable. Hope to see that postmark from Rock Hill, SC.
Comment: Love the package all of it, Burts Bee's, stickers, my favorite color ink pen, the notecards, the material, all those wonderful buttons. Gosh, did I miss anything? Anyway, yup, the ribbon hello kitty ribbon. Thanks!
Response: Oh, I am so glad you liked what I sent. I have so much fun gathering stuff for these kind of swaps. And thank you for the heart!!!
Comment: I love your PC, made me smile. You said your family is trying to cut wheat? Do you have a wheat field? Oh! And I am super jealous of your rain...it's been too dang hot and sunny hear. We had a little rain a couple of weeks ago but it has passed and it makes me sad.
Response: Glad you liked the card! Yes we have wheat. We have around 500 acres this year. It was really hot and humid here today. Over 100 and humidity about the same. You could hardly breathe out there today. We haven't had rain for a couple days, so they got some wheat cut today.
Comment: Hi Pam:
Thanks for a great card. That's some size ear of corn you grow in Nebraska. Wow!!! I wonder how they husked it! Ha ha! I enjoyed your note too. You certainly do live rural. All the best. Thanks again, Julie
Comment: Thank you so much! When I sent mine out, I just stuck a bunch of random old stickers I already had in an envelope and mailed it off, and I expected you to do the same. But when I opened it, I saw that you had obviously read my profile and gone out and bought new stickers chosen especially for me! How sweet! The frogs especially are awesome! Very nice stickers and I can see you put some thought into choosing ones I'd like.
Response: I hoped you'd like them. Some I already had and some I went out and bought. Yep, just for you. Enjoy!!!!
Comment: Love the postcards! Thanks for the extra. Welcome to Swap-bot - hope you have fun. Would you like some Oregon postcards? I love to share Oregon. It is a beautiful state. And yes I am close to Washington State. My daughter goes to school in Tacoma, Washington, so I am up that way a few times a year.
Response: So glad you liked the postcards! I would love some Oregon postcards. Washington would be great too. Is there anything you'd like from Nebraska? Do you have my address?
