Glad you finally got up there. Loved all the vintage stamps on your envie too. As for those sepia extras - I'm with you in disliking the cheap rip-offs of great images, no doubt copyright infringements to boot, but don't get me started! I don't know what to do with the many I've received. Glad you're seeing signs of another season. Wish I could say the same.
Response: You are very welcome, glad you like the choices I sent. Thank you for the heart rating.

Comment: This poor little pink envelope got stuck in some machine somewhere! Thankfully you used a plastic sleeve, so I think all pieces are here, but the Raphael PC and recipe card were...burned? From some kind of wheel maybe? Burned through the plastic sleeve on one side. The little envelope that could! She made it! Thank you for a generous blind envelope.

Oh, and I’m not sure why exactly, but flowers with five petals just make me feel happy… 🌺 like this hibiscus is peaceful to me. But when I see something with tons of petals, like a marigold, even though I appreciate their beauty, looking at them makes me feel anxious inside. I know, I’m an odd duck. 🤷🏽♀️ 😂

Your Swap-bot Partner,

Comment: Thank you for the postcards Frieda! I had always wanted to visit Mount Rushmore but now I have the postcards, so I don't need to go (ha, we can't GO anywhere right now due to the pandemic!). I went Geocaching yesterday and today with my husband - he is almost at 22,000 finds, compared to my 6, 700 finds! We love the hobby - it never gets old for us! Since everything else was cancelled (Ren Faires included!) I am happy we have this fun hobby to keep us occupied. Hope all is well with you - take care!
Response: You are very welcome. I would guess there are geocaches near Rushmore. My sister and brother travel a lot for that hobby - even to Europe and more. Thank you for the heart rating.
Comment: Thank you for the fun dominoes PC! My husband just bought me a HUGE box of LEGOS - I have never played with them before (I am 49 years old!) but he bought them so I can use them for the next GISH scavenger hunt as there is ALWAYS at least one LEGO task, ha! I have not opened them because I don't have a container to put them in yet - I have heard of too many stories of stepping on the bricks, so I would like to keep my feet as is! I have a couple of sets of dominoes, but honestly, I never learned how to play - we would just set them up and watch them fall...perhaps I should sit down to learn one day! :) Take care!

I had planned to go this spring, on a road trip west to Yellowstone, north through Grand Teton to Glacier, and home again, stopping at all the interesting sights on the way. These are all new to me. But now, who knows when I'll take another trip.
Response: You are very welcome. Parts of the Presidential Trail is under construction for the rest of 2020. The area is still impressive. Thank you for rating and for the heart.
Comment: Thanks so much for putting the vintage postage stamps on a vintage postcard, it's the best combination!
I've never been to Monticello...once there is a vaccine for this crazy virus I'm resolved to get more travel plans accomplished.
I've made masks until I ran out of elastic...finally found more reasonably priced elastic now I'm running out of flannel for the inner layers!
Stay healthy and best wishes,Mar/skinny52
Response: Fun swap, enjoying combining stamps to the card. Same here elastic finally arrived. Thank you for rating and for the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the great PC of lighthouse with a whale holding it. Wow, That's weird, I'm making masks for my family too. Only mine are crochet & have a piece of material inside it. Oh, Great vintage stamps too on PC. I get my vintage stamps from Etsy.
Response: You are very welcome. Neat card I have one with my whale collection. I get stamps from Ebay. Last trade was from my own state of Colorado. Thank you for rating and for the heart.
Comment: Really enjoyed seeing the trolley/cable car used in different areas with some treasured history. Some of these are going into my private collection and won’t be swapped. Thank you for the vintage extra 😘
Response: You are welcome, Fun Swap and glad you like the cards I chose. Thank you for hosting and for the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the Lantern Press NP postcard! Love all the “N” postal stamps - I’m wowed😲. I had nasturtiums listed too (thought I would be different, haha).
Appreciate all your attention to details!!! Great swap.
Response: You are very welcome. I had fun gathering N stuff, glad you liked it. Thank you for rating and for the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the Mt. Rushmore envie and PC. They brought back memories of when we went there for a vacation when our kids were little. Also thank you for all the thoughtful profile goodies. I will be putting some to use soon.
Response: You are welcome - a place dear to my heart. Thank you for rating and for the heart.
Comment: I loved the cards you sent! I wonder if the Victoria card was a sign.... because my husband wants our family to go there for our 2020 family vacation. I wasn't too keen on it... but now that I see how cool it is in your PC I may have a change of heart. Thanks again for the nice selection and pretty envelope!
Response: Very welcome - my that was a fast rating!! Thank you for the heart. Fun swap!
Comment: Horray! I love getting Michigan cards! Thank you so much. And thank you for telling me how to store your collections! I finally decided on getting a photo album that holds 500 postcards. One is almost full and I want to get another soon. Until next time :)
Response: You are very welcome. I had a fun vacation in MI and would go again. Thank you for rating and for the heart.
Comment: Thanks so much for checking my profile & choosing some cards that match my preferences. As a child of the 60's I'm a fan of both Dylan & the Stones! The vintage Bok Tower card is charming (& it's still as beautiful as that). By the way, I don't mind smaller than 4x6 vintage PCs. The reason I stated on my profile that I preferred standard 4x6 cards is because I've gotten some that are too small to meet USPS mailing requirements & some so big they don't fit in my storage boxes. Guess I should edit & clarify that. Sadly my wicked mail delivery person slashed through all your cool vintage stamps with her broad black marker, but I appreciate your using them nonetheless. Happy New Year!
Response: You are very welcome. I do read the profiles to get a sense of what the partner would like. Sometimes I can send those on their list. Shaking head - Post Office people seem to be in their own world. Sorry that happened. Thank you for rating quickly and for the heart.
Comment: Wow, Frieda you made some great postcards! They are cheerful and full of images. I like them so much, I may not send them ;) I thought this was a fun challenge. I wish you a very merry holiday! Take care, RJ
Response: Very welcome - first time making these, and hoped I did ok. It was fun, ones I received I may not send either. Thank you for rating and for the heart.
Comment: These are great postcards, Frieda! And extra credit for Smokey! I didn't have this Smokey pc! I went to college in Durango for year and one of my roommates lived in Cortez, so love the linen pc, too! Thank you so much for the great cards!
Response: You are very welcome. I think I just mailed that! Thank you for rating so quickly and for the heart. Fun swap!
Comment: Hi!! Thank you so much for the great postcards! That Mt Rushmore one with the fireworks is awesome!! I hope to go there one day - my list is a mile long!! Thank you for checking my profile. So happy you were my partner! : )
Response: Very welcome, thank you for hosting and for a fun swap. thank you for rating and the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful postcard of WI! Looks like a neat pleace. I have been to Lake Michigan on the Michgan side. It is calm and beauitful. I will list this for WI bucket list to see. Thank you for telling me!
Response: Very welcome, we did Ludington going then north around back to Milwaukee - loved the views of Lake Michigan. Thank you for the heart.
Comment: Thank you very much for the train postcard! It reminds me very much of my grandfather and dad. How fun that you travel on Amtrak over the holidays! We have also done some Amtrak trips and have enjoyed them! The stamps you used are also fun! Thanks!
Response: Very welcome, thank you for rating and for the heart.
Comment: The only time I visited Colorado so far was at the airport one stop for 3 hrs from California to Texas. You have to let me know what places I should visit while I'm there next time in more detail ❤️❤️ thank you for the wonderful postcard!!
Response: You are welcome. There is so much to do - I am still exploring. If in the summer do the drive to Mt. Evans. You can drive to the top or Pikes Peak also. Thank you for the heart.
Comment: Hi Frieda -- thanks for the (replacement) card of Crystal Mill! And for sending another. I'm not sure that I got your first card -- I do aim to rate promptly :) -- but I'll take a look in the pile. In any case, I appreciate the extra effort you made. :) All the best, al
Response: Very welcome, I know you rate promptly. Thank you for rating and for the heart.
Comment: You have great vintage postage stamps as well as vintage postage! I really appreciate that you chose a vintage card to go along with the stamps...I've been doing the same thing.
Thanks for everything,
Response: You are very welcome - both were sent the same day. Glad they must have arrived the same day at your end - quite unusual to have your name for both Vintage swaps. Thank you for rating so quickly and for the heart.
Comment: You did an awesome job fitting so many postage stamps on the small old postcard! I've been to The House of Seven Gables as well as having read the book...good choice by you!
Thanks for everything!
Response: You are very welcome - that was a challenge! Have fun with stamps when I can. Thank you for rating so quickly and for the heart.
Comment: Love this beautiful lighthouse PC! I have never been to this one before but looks amazing! On my bucket list thank you!!!
Response: You are very welcome. Check out the summer for weekends to be able to climb the lighthouse. It is an awesome view and well informed volunteer people help throughout the tour. Thank you for the heart.
Comment: Got your swap several days ago, but had a way busy weekend. Thanks very much--all the cards are very YOU! Cool that you only have AK left to visit--I've been a travel agent for 40 years and still have a dozen on my list. All great cards-and thanks for the extra! And oh---I came across the trade card I have for you of the Scottsdale F. L.Wright house--so will mail that to you. I'm not all together sure if I'm going to make the DPC picnic meeting next month. thanks, my friend!
Response: Very welcome! card can wait until we meet up, in no hurry.
Comment: Thank you SO MUCH! These are BEAUTIFUL!! I am from Aspen but moved to NJ in the early 90s to be a Nanny... and eventually went to college then met my hubby and well... stayed here in Princeton, NJ! LOL!!
Thanks again for the wonderful Vintage, Colorado Postcards! Message me if you want to do a personal swap! I love the old linen postcards and have quite a few !!
Response: Very Welcome! I like these no messing around rating - awesome! It was just sent 06-24. I can get linens at the Postcard club meetings and I have some in my stash if you want certain ones, let me know.
Comment: Thanks for the lovely PC and your note.
We don't have much fear of flooding here but depend on snow melt to replenish the groundwater. We didn't have much this winter and it all melted within three days. Little of it soaked into the earth. Fortunately, we have had a rainy spring.
Comment: Frieda, thanks so much for the cool lighthouse postcards. I really like them, especially the interior of the circular stairs. You must have been tired after climbing those! I appreciate the extra card and your descriptions about your lighthouse visits. Like Colorado, Kansas is without lighthouses. Unlike you, I have never visited one. Thanks! Cynthia
Response: Oh, I am so happy you like the cards! I have had the stairs one for almost 3 years in my share stash, not sure who to send it to.
Comment: WOW, what a geat selection of cards,a handmade envie, a handwritten note, awesome stamps!! Everything that makes a swap special. thanks so much for sending so many cards from my wish list. If I could I'd give you more stars.
Response: You are very welcome! Wow also for rating so quickly - I just mailed that three days ago.
Comment: I just got the card on my desk at work. Thank you so much for resending. Its nice to know I guess that the USPS is screwed up statewide and not just in my city I guess.
I just got the original card in a bag of mail from my mother yesterday. She picked it up from the PO Box on Friday
Comment: Thanks for the beautiful scenic postcards, especially of Montana and Colorado, also their wildlife. I appreciate that you chose those cards for me. Regarding your curiosity - they took 17 days to arrive.
Response: You are very welcome and thank you for the time line for an International swap. Have been told sometimes to wait 2 months. Very much appreciated.
Comment: Hi! Thank you for the fun postcard week ad card! Also thank you for the cool old stamps you used. I have some postcard club meeting cards from Colorado that my dad gave to me. I wonder if you knew him? His first name was Chuck and he lived in Greeley. Have a great day!
Response: Very Welcome! I only recently found the club and still learning names.
Comment: Thanks for these great PC and I love the stamps too! Our mountains are white with new snow, but we have only rain down here, or sleet, that melts right away. I have a purry kitty that wants my attention, right now, pulling at my knee to be picked up. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thanks for the great PC! No, no roads in MN get that much snow, but in neighboring ND and SD can. Also the Upper Michigan, and Duluth, Superior, just to name a few, because of Lake Effect snowfall. Have a great day and happy swapping.....
Comment: Thanks for all these beautiful PCs! I love all of them and the whale stamps on the outside of the envie. The bright yellow envie sure did brighten a cloudy day! We have no snow here except for on the mountain tops. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Don't be confused. I am not fond of multi view cards. But, I do have a lot in my stash I would like to pass on. I don't mind receiving naked cards for my collection. Thank you for an especially nice one of my favorite state. The mountains are really majestic in Colorado. Joy
Comment: Thanks for the nice PC and note.
My wife and I enjoy road trips and always visit any lighthouses in the area we are in.
There has been little snowshoeing here and no snowmen. We haven't had enough snow. the pseudo-grandkids and I are waiting patiently.
Comment: Oh vintage Mass. Love it! You are going to LOVE Alaska! It’s so beautiful. I haven’t been out East or any where East for that matter. I’ve been halfway around the world but, haven’t traveled half my country. We are saving it for RVing future I guess. It’s getting so hard to fly anymore.
Comment: What a fantastic vintage card of Mt. Rushmore! Thank you! So happy you are familiar with the area! Yes, we are right next to Oregon. I can’t wait to get to Colorado again. Such a magical place. I’m partners with you in the touristy PC swap that I sent today so it should be out to you shortly. Next round for touristy fun I found some wonderful vintage cards from Florida and I hope they get here on time! Once again, thank you💜
Comment: Thank you for the awesome postcard, I've never been on a Trolley, but the last time I went to Cali I went on a tour on one of those duck buses that goes from land to water. I remember seeing the Lake House when it came out, but I don't remember what it was about so I'll have to re-watch it. Have a great day!
Response: Very Welcome, thank you for rating so quickly.
Comment: Rocky Mountain National Park is one of my favorite places to go. I live about an hour away and love to hike there. I have been there when the elk are bugling. It is amazing to both watch and hear. Thanks!
Response: Very welcome. I felt bad sending a Colorado to you. Have sent another from a vacation.
Comment: Love the PC and it brings back fond memories of the 3 trips I made to the city. Got to see Times Square but it was in the summer and not nearly as crowded as New Year's Eve!! Thank goodness!! And thank you!
Response: Very Welcome, I would go again to NYC, but not in the winter.
Comment: Frieda Micah loved his own card and actually loves reading biographies and has read bout wild hickock and loved this card thank you. AND u are absolutely right u should never sweat petty stuff or pet sweaty things. Love it.
Response: Micah is very welcome! 😊 Thank you for rating so promptly!
Comment: Hi Frieda! Love the Mt. Rushmore pc and all the vintage stamps - it may not be perfect but I love it! My kids were in CO a few weeks ago and loved it compared to the humidity in FL! They hope to move to CO someday! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: You are very welcome, yes very low humidity and gorgeous mountains!!
Comment: I have been to Vegas prob 10 years ago or so. That's as far west as I have been. It's on my bucket list to get to Colorado one day just haven't made it yet. I love the pc and the vintage stamps. Thank u. Have an awesome day. (I've never smoked anything lol)
Response: Too funny, very welcome. I am not in the "IN" crowd I guess for the smoking.
Comment: Thanks for this beautiful PC from my home state of Wisconsin! I lived there for the first 40 years of my life and plan on living here for the next 40! Come and see our mountains!!! Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Response: Very welcome. Plans are for June 2019 to visit. Alaska. I am excited!
Comment: I love this card. I will add this bridge to my list of bridges I want to see. It makes me happy to hear that you got to see yhe Mackinac Bridge and the usland. I worked summer jobs on that island for a few summers after high school which meant I got to live there in the employee dorms. It’s one of my favorite places! I would go all the time if it was closer (and less expensive).
Response: So happy you liked the card. I would go back to both bridges. Royal Gorge is only a couple hours away. The island is sure fascinating!
Comment: Hello! Thanks for the PC. Here in AZ, we have little to no humidity either! It makes for great hair days, lol. I really loved the stamps you included on the card. Where do you get your older stamps? Do you get them off ebay?
Response: You are welcome. Yes from eBay for stamps. I try to match a theme stamp with the postcard theme if I can.
Comment: Hi Frieda! I love the postcard you sent for this swap. It is fun to find someone else that likes Scooby Doo! We had so many of them on VCR tapes, but of course, those have all been sent to the dump now that my son is almost 23 :-) I did not know there were Lego characters of the "Team"... how very cool is that?? YAY :-) Thank you for taking time to write a message on the PC. I love "meeting" those that I swap with <3 <3 <3 THANK YOU!
Response: You are very welcome. Love it when a swap gets rated and off my list so quickly.!
Comment: Thank you!!! My daughters LOVE the lip gloss, I can already think of three things I'm gonna do with the papers, and the embroidery jar lids are going to make the cutest gift for a dear friend of mine once I get them finished!!
Response: You are welcome, happy you like the items. It was a fun swap. Thank you for rating promptly.
Comment: Hi there Frieda! Thank you for the San Francisco PC! I love going there and it is not far to visit for a long weekend. Yes there are a lot of poeple there and it is a great tourist place. Try going to NYC and hanging out a week there. You get that run down feeling....hahaha! Thank you and i gave you a heart because of the postcard and the old stamped that you took the time to decorate the PC with! thank you!
Response: You're welcome, thank you for rating and heart.
Comment: Hi Frieda! Love the vintage pc and the works, which did expand my vocal! I do think I have ergophobia about work! LOL! And good reason if you worked where I do! LOL! Hugs, Happy Easter and Swapping!
Response: You are welcome, fun swap. Thank you for the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard..I am so upset, the bottom half of the card was torn off..it looks like someone just torn it off . I took a photo to show the PO, why I have almost stopped swapping naked cards.......and it was such a nice
card. : Wow, Many HEARTS to you.... thank you for the card, I will place it in my "Presidential" Book I am making for my grandson.... :) :)
Response: So sorry for the mishap. It is a fav of mine - will get you a replacement. thank you for the heart.
Comment: Thanks for the "Royal" card, Frieda! That bridge and I didn't get along very well. After walking across it, I ended up having nightmares about falling off of it every night for a week! I went to the Dr. and was diagnosed with vertigo. Won't ever go across it again. Funny though, because the I rode the tram car across the canyon and had no problem with that.
Comment: Hi Frieda! Thank you so much for the great vintage pc of Mesa Verde! I do love vintage pcs! Are you able to find other cards at the Postcard Tradeshows? I usually only find vintage ones at a reasonable price but that's ok! LOL! Thanks again! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thanks for the great postcard and wonderful stamps as well! They just closed Thompson's Pass, which is the only road in/out of Valdez because of so much snow. Those steel posts are the only guides to keep the snow removal trucks from going off the cliffs as there are not guard rails along steep cliffs. Ours are twice as long as those on the postcard. Snow measures in feet or yards, instead of inches. Hugs from Alaska, Sherry
Comment: Thank you so much for the lovely postcards! I've never seen Mt. Rushmore, but it is definitely something on my bucket list that I hope to achieve one day. Love that one is a beautiful vintage one. The truck water one is odd, but I know exactly what swap it will be perfect for, and the badlands one is just beautiful! The Christmas Cat card is just perfect too, thank you for including it as an extra.
Comment: Hello, thanks for the card from Denver. I have driven through Denver a couple of times (plus taken the train). But I have spent more time in the Durango (also a "D") area. Colorado is very beautiful. Best, al
Comment: Thank you Frieda for your PC as it arrived today. No i dont have really likes dislikes when it comes to swapping as usually i am really connecting with people and sharing loving kindness. Getting what i want is not my priority on being on swap bot. So no worries! thank you for the Mount Rushmore PC as i loved it. Have been there myself too! Thank you for putting on the lovely stamps too! I saw the stamps and that was beautiful!
Comment: Thanks for the three small postcards, so very generous of you! I definitely appreciate the like vintage linen card and I must say that I got a chuckle from the Mt. Rushmore card that they felt that they had to label who was who! LOL
Comment: Thank you SO much for the vintage SD state capitol postcard! I collect all state related cards, especially vintage. This is a particularly difficult card to find! You made my day! If you have others - would you be willing to do a private swap?
Comment: Thanks, at first glance I think these are new versions of these states for me. If you ever get me and have to send Colorado, I'd understand. When I'm out of more unique ones I'm sure I've sent Colorado more than once to group members. I've never been to postcard trade shows here, or anywhere else. I'd probably spend too much!
Comment: Many thanks for the beautiful postcards you sent me, I'm a big fan of Mount Rushmore, I believe it's awesome... Denver looks fantastic too... I have never been in USA, I hope to do so sometime... it's my dream...
Greetings from Chile
Comment: Oh Boy! ! ! got your package today.I opened it and found so many little packages in it :)
I went ahead and gave you the 5 and heart knowing I am going to be thrilled, but I am going to wait for each day to open them. I love little surprised. June 1st is dare day, I dare you to wait and open your packages on the actual day! Thanks again. Dorothy H
Comment: Thank you for these postcards, Frieda! I especially like the one of the opossum. And the fun facts! When I was a kid, my family of four visited that spot where the four states converge. . .and each of us stood in a different state! :-) And you mentioned a balloon flight FROM Tucson. . .Where did it end up? :-) Thank you so much for sharing!
Response: Very welcome. It was a flight there in Tucson for the morning, just over the city 6 am to 8:30
Comment: Thank you! I am crazy over the pressed penny, the postcard and all the stamps you put on the envie. You definitely read my profile! You even sent it in an orange envie! Thank you for a happy mail day! :)
Comment: Prison definitely is NOT a place I would like to visit! I have, however, been by the Folsom Prison in California when I lived out there. . . like Colorado, California has so many prisons and they are always filled past capacity. Thanks for a great PC for this swap . . . have a great weekend ~~
Comment: I received today your fantastic postcards and extras!! All of them are GREAT and I trully loved the note you sent with the swap's details. It was so nice to see that vintage lighthouse!! Thank you so much for a great swap!! ♥♥♥
Comment: Hi B Frieda! Love the variety of pcs - you made my day! It's aways fun to receive something "new" to me! LOL! I agree on staying away from the $1 pcs - it is amazing how expensive some pcs from places can be - you have to wonder if they ever sell any! Crazy! Thanks again for the fun Happy Mail and I love the vintage stamps as well! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: What a Lovely package! It was fun right away as I wondered what was making that rattling noise in there 😉 Lemonheads! Tee hee! Everything inside was so clever and fun - the snazzy Luggage tag, the Life Savers, Lips 👄 washi...even a little Ladybug 🞠to brighten my day! Truly a Happy Mail...and I'm so sorry for the late rating! Thank you!!!
Response: Very welcome, fun swap. I was surprised the Post office didn't mention the rattling. Thank you for hosting.
Comment: Just got the card in today's mail - what a beautiful view :) We are back into the cold too, but supposed to snow this weekend so going to warm back up! yeah!! just hoping this snow melts before May :) Love the stamps you used on the card!
Comment: Thanks for all the great postcards and stamps on the envelope and inside! I love the Colorado state capitol card, didn't have one even tho I grew up in western Colorado and still go back to visit at least once a year!
Comment: Great map PC's - I've been visiting Colorado for years. In my 20's I thought I would move there. My brother did but still family here. We love to vacation there. Thank you for the CO Map card :-) I can't believe you lived in the area and have gone to the fair. So fun to meetup in swaps. I've personally met a few IL swappers - 2 from South Elgin and 1 from Arlington Heights. Have a great day. Take care, Annette
Comment: Thank you Frieda for the state postcard of Colorado, I put this postcard up on display in my apt with my state map PCs. Happiness is life with a dachshund. That's wonderful you have lived with five of them. Over my life I've lived with five of them also. Currently, my sister's miniature dachshund "Scout" is my constant companion when I visit with my family.
Comment: Beautiful PC of the Rocky Mountain National Park. Colorado is so gorgeous and I have so many wonderful memories of my many visits there. . . to me it is one of the prettiest states in the US and there is so much to see and do there. I'm sure the water in Dream Lake is freezing. . .I remember swimming in mountain creeks and lakes in the Black Hills (where I'm originally from) ad they were ice cold even in summer! Thanks again for the great PC. . . take care ~~
Response: Very welcome, love it here and I am so close to the Black Hills to see Mount Rushmore and see the Black Hills.
Comment: Thank you so much for the great multi-view of Glacier National Park. Although I've been to Montana and think it is a beautiful state I never visited Glacier but it looks gorgeous. Thanks again for the great multi-view ~~
Response: It is a special place for me. My sister lives near there. Maybe about time to go back, but during the summer!
Comment: Thank you so much for the two postcards. I was over the moon to receive the Weeki Wachee mermaid postcard. I visited there two years ago and it was one of my favorite places to visit. Such a beautiful state park. I would love to revisit.
Response: You are very welcome, a fun swap!! Looking forward to the return of the one postcard. Thank you for rating. Got Mine!! Wahoooo
Comment: Received the first one today! I've now received "O" and "H" and it appears whatever number 3 was is still making its way here....no guesses yet! (But I'm loving the beautiful cards and vintage stamps so far!) I received 3 postcards from you today...my guess is Horse? One of the pc's I received was a replacement for the one you thought wouldn't make it, but both did so I am actually still missing #3. Let me know if I got it right!
Response: Yes, Horse - Great fun with this swap. Third was a saw fish PC.
Comment: I love historical places, hope some day to go to some of them. what a great card! Thank you! Have you checked your notifications to see if there was a glitch and it is no longer marked to receive partner notifications.
Response: Yes all checked, but have read in forums that the notification for ready to swap is not working. Very welcome for the card.
Comment: What a great PC and thanks for marking the stamp. I've been to lighthouses but have never gone up in one -- always wondered what it would be like so you are one of the fortunate ones who got to experience it. Thanks again for the great PC ~~
Comment: Thank you so much for the great PC for this swap. I've been to Independence Hall and found it so inspiring and interesting -- to actually stand inside was just amazing. Philadelphia is such a historic city with so much to see and do there that has to do with out history. . . and they have great Philly steaks :-) Thanks again for the great PC ~~
Response: Hoped you would like it I would go there again, never tried a Philly steak. Put that on list too!
Comment: Thank you so much for my lovely, wacky and silly February goodies, I honestly felt the joy and love permeating. My daughter and I had so much fun reading the background of the holidays you chose for me and opening every beautifully wrapped goodie. My favorites were the handmade card and the lovely pink flowers, she snagged the beaded necklaces. Thank you :)
Response: Very welcome, this is always a fun swap for me. Thank you for rating.
Comment: Thank you B Frieda for the lovely cards and watercolor postcard and the beautiful lady bug good luck charm! How clever! The recipe cards too! I share receipes with others who are liked minded too! Loved all the stickers that you put on your envelope to me. Will put these items to good use! Happy New Year to you!
Comment: Thank you so much for the assortment of awesome that you sent me! I love the postcard, and I love the washi samples! And those gold transfer letters--OMG! Those are classic! The ladybug good luck charm is much appreciated! You went above and beyond! Thanks!
Response: Very welcome. Think I read a little more into the swap than I had to. Thank you for rating.
Comment: Great PCs of Denver - one of my favorite cities. I used to go there quite frequently years ago and my brother lived there for 25 years. Thanks so much. And thank you for the Lincoln PC - very interesting that it is the only lifelike statue of a President and his wife. . . wonder why there aren't more as it does seem like it would be not only interesting but impressive. Thanks again for the great PCs and hope to see you in more swaps this year ~~
Response: Very welcome, knew you would like the Lincoln. Nice park too where they have it in Racine.
Comment: helllo!! great selection of stamps you sent! sure love those map cards, too > good luck trying to get all of them: you might need to make a trip to get those rare ones ;), so hope your year will have many adventures gathering more pcs + keep using those fab vintage stamps!
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing your great Christmas tree story. . . I, too, have ended up with the 'bargain' tree but think that made is more special. As for placing the tree in the corner, I did that a couple of years simply because I didn't see any need to decorate a side of the tree that no one would see. Have a wonderful Christmas and hope to see you in swaps in 2017 ~~
Response: Very welcome, Happy Holidays to you also. See in in more swaps for sure!
Comment: Great selection of cards! That opera house ceiling is beautiful! I racked up last night on cards stopped by the Bartlett Tn walmart and got not only Tennessee ones but Arkansas and Mississippi. Glad some walmarts started selling postcards. Wish my local one would. Thank you!
Response: I talked with the vendor and was able to get cards into one Walmart. Good for both parties.
Comment: Hi B! Yes that pc does have a bunch of numbers! LOL! My oldest talks of moving to Colorado, I said I will vist in the spring as I am already tired of cold weather here, so... LOL! Glad you enjoy Denver! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Response: She will love it here. I grew up in ILL. No more blizzards, ice storms or humidity Thank you for rating.
Comment: Thanks for the PC. I had to read the back to realize it was Lambeau Fields. I love Machine Embroidery and Urban Threads is one of my favorites. if you look at the pictures of my girls on my profile you can see a bunch of steam-punk cogs in gold, they are all from UT. As far as the Princess Bride...my family all loves it and thinks it is a riot. I feel it is just enough in-congruent to not feel real, but not enough to believe the fairy-tale. The humor is not funny and much of it depends on degrading someone else and I feel offended by that. It paints a misleading picture of goodness with evil/bad/wrong actions. Maybe I have overstepped my boundaries, most people don't really want to know why I don't like TPB they just believe I am wrong. Happy Swapping.
Response: You are welcome, there are many great lines from that movie that my daughter and her family recite. I looked at it as just fun and my grandkids know what I mean by As you wish! Thank you for the rating.
Comment: OK, I did cheat & open my gifts before the designated holidays. But (mostly) because I wanted to be sure to rate you on time. :-) Thank you for the wonderful assortment of goodies; I'll be sure to use each on the appropriate day!
Response: Ha Ha Too funny!! You are welcome and I do not think there was a rule to wait. Fun Swap, thank you for rating.
Comment: Thank you for the lovely package, all of the items you sent are just perfect. I especially love the mud mask. I used to buy these all the time at a local supermarket, but they stopped selling them. So, I will really enjoy using the one you sent. Thank you again for thoughtfulness.

Comment: Hi! Received your microwave bowl holder today! Thank you very much - I have never seen this before and think it is very clever! Will try it out next time I use a bowl in the microwave! I was sent the same mystery fabric; I think everyone got the same design. Thanks for the fun swap! Valerie
Response: You are very welcome, enjoy the Micro Fabric Bowl, I use them all the time. Great fun swap!!! Thank you for rating.
Comment: Aspens turn the most glorious yellow and gold, don't they! The most spectacular autumn color I've ever experienced was in the sugar maples when we lived in Upstate New York. Fall is my favorite season! Thank you for sending such a beautiful postcard for this swap.
Response: That was a fast turn around, thought I just sent it! Yep me too Sugar Maples are gorgeous.
Comment: Thank you for the striking purple envelope and notecard and wonderful, thoughtful assortment of cards :) I also love your handwriting -- it reminds me of that of one of my favorite teachers! I have also been thinking a lot about Anne Trubek's opinion piece in the New York Times about the obsolescence of script and handwriting in general. (I don't agree with her at all :) Hope you and your family have a good weekend!
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful things you sent me :) I loved everything .... And the play-doo is purple :) The peanuts are gone already .. Thank you for taking the time to print all the interesting information about each holiday ..... and the gift wrap tissue is so pretty !!
Response: You are very welcome - wacky and great fun!! Glad you enjoyed.
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautiful work. I am not sure what you call it. The "BOO" is awesome and I placed it with my Halloween decor in my art room. The angel is a piece of art how she goes together, adore it! Hugs, Mona

I loved all the fun days you chose, candy is always a big hit here :):) & I am very excited to use the dish covers for the microwave, very much needed here. LOL I really appreciate your thoughtfulness & a great swap.
