Comment: Thanks for the interesting lists and for the extra postcards too. I also like photography - usually I'm taking photos of landscapes or interesting architecture. Good luck with your 101 things in 1001 days project! :)
Comment: I was just going though my postcards and double checking that I rated all of them and I am glad I did. I am usually really good at rating when I receive so I am so sorry it has taken me so long. I do love your card and I am putting it in my postcard book. Thank you
Comment: I am so sorry for not acknowledging your postcard earlier. I fell behind at swap-bot and just hid my head in shame instead of trying to do something about it. Now it is a new year and since I really loved being a part of swap-bot I decided that I had to do something about it, since I still want to be part of it. I was so happy with my mailbox when I was part of swap-bot. Please forgive me!
Comment: what a clever way to do your lists and fun for me s many memories of happy times in Colorado, staying at Far View in Mesa Verde-crossing Monarch, the olympic camp in Colorado Springs----just fun-Thanks
Comment: Thank you so much for the beautful PCs of Colorado! It is such a gorgeous place! I adore each and every one you sent...I am particularly loving the Rocky Mountain National Park one and the sunset! Thank you! :) xo
Comment: Love the PC and information you sent. I have a dear friend that loves wolves. She will be interested in this information. My DH will be in CO next week for work, Boulder. I believe where you are a really neat scrapbooking store is there. Thanks! :)
Comment: Hi Katy, Thanks for the great card! I bet it is beautiful out there now. Wish I could see the trees changing, my aunt always tells us about it every year. When I visited it was in October so I just saw green and white snow. :-) Take care, GT
Comment: Hi Katy!
Thanks so much for all the cards including the ones for Sebastian. Around here the people are crazy for college sports and my son's team is the Wolfpack, so the wolf postcard was especially welcome.
Comment: So beautiful this postcard of Mesa Verde! It is my first one and this will be always remembered as special!
My humble Unesco WHS collection is more complete thanks to you! Hard to collect, don't you agree? So many places to get a picture! But who said I like easy ones?
Comment: Thank you for the cool PC from Mesa Verde National Park! I've actually been there many years ago. I've heard that the things we could walk to and through are now closed to the public except for viewing from the road or whatever! It was a great reminder of a wonderful vacation!!
Comment: Hi Katy! Thanks for the beautiful postcard. Do you live near wildflower meadows like this, or are you in a different part of the state?
Haha, I just saw your note about living in Tucson near Silverbell... a heart then for my "homegirl"! ;)
Comment: Great card, Katy! Thanks for joining the swap. I book all the travel for the Denver Post sports writers so I deal with sports a LOT-keeping up with stadium names these days (NFL and college) isn't easy!
Comment: Thank you for the beautiful card from Pikes Peak. My husband and I drove up there when we were in Colorado many, many years ago. I also love the quote. I am trying to declutter the house now and this quote is so appropriate for me. I can never get ahead until I get started.
Response: I am glad you liked the postcard and quote. I am trying to declutter my house as well. It can go from clean to cluttered in one day.
Comment: Thanks for the neat Colorado multi-view pc. We started out very dry now we are about where we are supposed to be. Only trouble is when it rains it either storms (hail, wind etc) or rains so much it floods our road. It is doing good for the farmers and gardners around here.
Comment: Thank you for the great scenic postcards. I haven't checked, but I don't think I have the ones you sent. When I was in the Delta/Montrose area last week I found lots of postcards that I haven't seen in Denver so now I have some different ones to send.
Comment: Beautiful card of Maroon Bells-thanks! If you've never been, I'm telling you that you MUST go! The road out of Aspen gets so crowded that you have to park in town and take a shuttle, but once you get away by the lake and on the hiking trails it's just spectacular. One of the best places in Colorado!
Comment: Thanks so much!! Your lettering is very nice, and I loved the boldness of the drawing!
By the way, the Simpsons stamp is awesome, lol. I totally bought those too for use with swaps. :-) Thanks!
Comment: Thank you for the lovely postcard of Colorado and the cattle with those sweet faces! It was really nice that the reverse of the postcard featured a photographic watermark of the picture on the front.
Comment: Thank you very much for the lovely poscard. You know, I really liked your writting, it's so neat! Hahaha, is that weird?
-It must we awesome to drive on the middle of those huge rocks. Thanks again, Katy :)
Comment: Nice AZ card, Katy! Although I have to admit I DON'T have one of Castle Rock, CO! The ones I sent out were of Balanced Rock at the Garden of the Gods in Colo. Springs-both great CO rocks! Carol
Response: I send a different partner in this swap Balance Rock at the Garden of the Gods.
I have yet to find a postcard for Castle Rock - the town or it's rock.
UPDATE JULY 27th - I found Castle Rock postcards! Can I send you one?
Comment: Thank you for all the postcards & news of your days! I liked that you alternated between art postcards & Colorado postcards, and I loved hearing the various things you did with your boys during the week.
Comment: I love these doodle pc's - have I said this already? :O) I loved yours - it was super - espeically the pair of aliens in the little red spaceship!!! I also love that I receive some that are as...for lack of a better word...not-professional as mine are. I hope you can believe that is no insult!! Thank you again! I hope you keep doing these - if you ever feel like you've run out of themes, I'd be glad to brainstorm for ya!
Comment: I liked the paper! If I didn't control myself I would have piles and piles of scrapbooking paper stashed everywhere! Thanks to you! (Not b/c you are responsible for my possible paper-problem...thanks to you FOR the card!!!)
Comment: Thanks for the map postcard. I really appreciate that you sent it in an envelope :) I'm having trouble finding Colorado map postcards, so I was happy to get yours, so I can pass it on to someone else!!
Response: Do you ever make it down to Castle Rock? At the Walmart in the front of the store by the bank they just opened up a gift shop with all things Colorado and they have maybe 100 different postcards available.
Comment: Thank you so much for such cute friendship books to pass along. I am going to enjoy adding to these. My favorite is the little monster. It will be passed along in the next friendship swap that I am in.
Comment: I don't even know where to begin... everything was amazing and so perfect! I love it all, the buttons, ribbons, brads, notepads, and the coffee fabric!. Thank yo so much for including the car for my son, I really appreciate that. Oh I must not forget, I love the socks. I wish I could give you multiple hearts!
Comment: I LOVE the way that you sewed all of the buttons onto a sheet of paper like that...It was soooo very creative to think of doing that. Everything looked so neat and pretty on there, I'm jealous that I didn't think of doing something like that
;-P...j/k...no, but really it was a really sweet idea. Thanks for all of the extra buttons you added for my profile, I was super surprised by them, and I love them all. I love all of the buttons you chose for the scavenger hunt items also.Thank you, thank you, You're a great swapper! Hugs, Joanne
Response: I am glad you liked it. I had a lot of fun with that swap! Thank you for the rating and have a great day!
Comment: i like how specific your list is! I used to drink a coke a day. When I tried to stop b/c it was so dang spendy, I got down to 1 coke a week. Of course it helped to know that I could have that one, and now I don't even drink one a week. What i replaced it with is that flavored water for 50Cents a bottle at wal mart. Just an idea;)
good wishes for your list!
Response: Thank you for the great idea with the soda. I ought to try the flavored water as an alternative.
