Comment: Well, you spoiled me. You filled up the tote bag I have on my cedar chest for Christmas. Thank you so very much. Fall is arriving tomorrow with only temp's in the low 60's during the day. Christmas is going to arrive fast this year. I hope you have a full stocking to open on Christmas day. Hope to see you in my future stocking stuffer swaps..Thanks again. Enjoy your end of the week.
Comment: Kim, I too did a lot of things that weren't on my list but did get a few things done from it anyways. I get side-tracked so easily, found a new pattern for plastic canvas and have been constantly working on making coasters for people in the nursing home. I'm gonna attempt to stick to my list in the next swap and hopefully will get more done from it but again, no guarantees as to how much. 😂
Comment: Kim, thanks so much for sharing the YouTube Channels. I love paper crafts too though it's been awhile since I've done any (ugh, it seems there's never enough time for everything I want to do! lol)
Have a good day and thanks again! 🌹🌹
Response: So true. I have so much to make for the Earth Fair later this month and I haven't even started!! Thanks for the heart.
Comment: That's really nice that your friends gave you produce and bread for you chickens. There's nothing like farm-fresh eggs. Sorry to hear about the loss of your rabbit. It's always so difficult to lose furry members of the family.
Comment: It's hard to get a list of things done that you have weighing on you and then having all other kinds of things come up. You did get some done so kudos to you for that!
As for my list, if it weren't for our inspections being on Friday, I almost guarantee that a lot of mine wouldn't have gotten done. Have a good day, Kim! 💕
Response: Thanks for the heart! The offer to work on the house came on suddenly. But, needed the money, so took it on. :)
Comment: Kim, I love the pictures you sent! That's awesome that you got snow, since it's a pretty rare event there, I could only imagine how exciting it is (especially for the kids!)
Awe, bless you for transporting dogs to get them to their new homes ... that is so awesome! Also awesome is that you got to see the Convoy when it went through. It went about 50 miles north of where I live but I've no vehicle so couldn't go see it but would've loved to!
Response: Thanks for the heart! We get some snow about 3 times a year (I've only been here 2.5 years, so we'll see if that holds true ...), but it is usually very light, as in the pics. It was great to see all the unity with the convoy. So many on the sides of the road, and in such a rural area, the turnout was amazing. I drove 40+ miles to see it.
Comment: I received your Historic Route 66 PC today with your answer Do you believe in ghosts? Thanks very much! That's so great, you also believe in ghost. I do too and have seen my fair share of them. But not in sometime though. We bought a house 10 or so years ago and it's actually not haunted. Yay! Because I had ran into some not so nice ghosts is why I say yay.
Response: Thanks for the heart! I'm sure I have encountered others in passing, but they did not make an impression, at the time. :)
Comment: Thank you for sharing your pictures 🌷 It was very fascinating to see the views from the desert where you live! Everything there looks so different from where I live - here in Finland everything is currently covered in snow.
Response: Thanks for the heart! I have been here for 2 years and it is still, sometimes, a shock to look out the window and not see trees! I miss trees ...
Comment: Thank you for sharing your pictures. Even if you seem to live in the middle of nowhere it looks so great and different from where I live. Here everything is green and surrounded by forest. That is what make such swaps so interesting
Response: Thanks for the heart. I miss the forest! I miss pine trees!
Comment: Well done for getting so much of your list done and for managing to fit in a birthday day out as well! You've obviously got a plan for finishing the things you didn't get a chance to do -- good luck. I hope you found the swap helpful in prioritising and keeping track of everything -- I know I did.
Response: Thanks for the heart! Yes, it's always helpful for me to make a list, but using the group accountability is a plus!
Comment: Thanks for sharing, Kim! I'd only ever heard of two songs from your list ... The Monkees and The Beatles. Their music, I mean ... I'd also heard of Fred Astaire and Dean Martin but never had heard their music before now.
Have a good day! 🌹🌹🌹
Response: Thanks for the heart. It's fun finding new songs!
Comment: Kim, thanks so much for sharing the picture that you did ... I love it! I also love older pictures that were taken and wondering what the story is or was behind the picture.
P.S. Welcome back to Swap-bot ... have an awesome day! 😃
Response: Thanks for the welcome back! And, the heart! :)
Comment: I love therapyanimals, there are therapy alpacas in my city :)
Response: I used to have 3 therapy dogs (2 Cocker Spaniels and a Greyhound) and a therapy rooster back in the '80s/'90s. It was a lot of fun. Sometimes miss doing that - taking them to do visits. I sometimes do volunteer work with some therapy horses (full-size that people come to their farm to ride for therapy) .
Thanks for the heart!!
Comment: I love the wonderful swap I received today from you! The hot dog baskets are perfect for our bbq's, the cap will be handy for the holiday and we also do a Christmas in July with my relatives at the park, so both will be great I love to color, and Chewie loves the toy. Thanks so much!

Comment: Oh, how did you know I love extra wide lace? I haven't been able to find it lately. Thank you so much for the lace and the fat quarter and bias tape! I will have to save the candy for a few days. I'm off sugar this week but my readings haven't changed much. I think it's one of the meds I'm taking but we will see.
Response: So glad you liked it all and could use them! :) Thanks for the heart!
Comment: To be honest I rather read a mail like yours than just two or three sentences. So don't apologize for your mail beeing long - I loved that!It was fun to see how a store looks like where you live, the tomato sculpture looks really funny! :D Thanks a lot, great swap ♥
Response: Thanks for the heart. It was a fun swap!
Comment: Thank you so much for sharing...I miss stores like that. We used to have so many cool little places like that when I lived in Seattle, but there aren't many places like that where I'm at now. :(

Comment: Kim, wow, I guess you did outdi yourself. Thank you for everything to represent my name. I especially love the cable sweater pattern in the book. I am going to make it in off white. It will be my summer project. Shirley
Response: So glad you liked everything. Glad there's a pattern in there you can use! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for my Evil Witch Ninni from Snow White! She is one of my favorite characters. I love the villains. I'm so glad you found the apples. They were the perfect touch. Thank you so much for the notepad and the measuring tape. You don't know how badly I've needed a tape measure. I lost mine over a year ago and still have not replaced it. I'm thrilled to have another one! Thanks for a great swap!
Response: So glad you liked her and the extras! It was a fun swap.
Comment: Wow! You have ever so many more supplies than I do. Of course, I've only been a member of Swap-Bot for just over a month, but still. . .I can't imagine ever having much more than I have right now. (Though I do hope that my "pile" of received stuff grows a lot!) Thank you for sharing! And thank you for captioning your pictures, too! :-)
Response: Oh, trust me! Your piles will grow! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thanks very much -- you really were more generous than need be. I don't cook much but when I do it's usually Italian flavored and there is so much in the bag I'll share it with daughter and granddaugther both of who cook more than I do.
Response: Thanks for the heart! I have so many great thrift shops near me and I always seem to find some unusual stuff! Glad you could use the dried 'greens'!
Comment: Hi Kim!
What a great swap! Thank you for all the wonderful sewing items and the tea! The fat quarters are lovely and I am for sure going to use the green ribbon for some St. Patrick's Day crafts I'm doing. Comment: I really appreciated your email, your honesty and your photos. SO cool. I never would have thought of a squat that way. I must try this! <3
Response: Thanks for the heart! It's something everyone should try to keep doing. Check out Daniel Vitalis to see some tips about relearning how to squat: http://www.danielvitalis.com/blog/2013/08/flat-footed-squat
Comment: Thank you so much, I enjoyed your photos! How lucky to have that white bird make an appearance! It looks like such a vast space from that last photo, seems like a nice place to take a peaceful walk.
Response: Thanks for the heart! Yes, it's a nice little walk with three viewing decks. Much nicer when there is more water and more birds. Drought is making it tough on them.
Comment: Loved the shed photo for so many reasons. YOU are doing a great job at aspecting your personality for the world to see. I love the balance you have created and appreciate the plan for plants and flowers. Good work!

Response: So glad you liked them and can use them! Fun swap to hunt for. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Hi there ~ Thank you so much for the gifts! Sending your grandmother's earrings from the 60's was a very special touch, which I appreciate! I don't quite understand the shape of the cup though. Once you tell me, it will probably be quite obvious to me! LOL! God Bless!
Response: I had to look this up, but apparently you melt chocolate pieces on the edge of the cup to drip down into your drink ... http://onlineshop.maxbrenner.com.au/unique-utensils/kangaroo-cup-11/kangaroo-cup.html
Thanks for the heart!
Comment: wOw, your card came out so cleaver! Ha, mine so did not come out so coiffed! lol. I taped mine so many times before it was all over with I thought I was gonna have a postcard made outta tape. lol. Now, theres an idea. lol Again, thanks for the beautiful, nifty card!!! xox
Response: So glad you liked it! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Great photos! My mom would delight in your horse collection - she has some, but currently they're all packed away somewhere. Your African violet is gorgeous - my grandmother and mom both used to have a whole bunch of them - they both had really good east-facing windows, and the violets loved it there. How fun that you still have your first suitcase. When I stayed at a grandmother's house, I just used a small one in my parents' American Tourister set. My first of my own was a big blue suitcase and a matching train case that I had saved money for, and it was an offer where you sent in box-tops or something with a little money. I loved those, but have no idea what happened to them - I still have the keys, so wherever they are, they can't be locked (or unlocked)! And I love yellow! We had an old yellow Cosco at home and a red one at my grandmother's house. Wish I still had one of them! But yours does look good in black (by the way, the old ones work a lot better than the new ones - my mom now has one that is about 5 years old, and when you lift the steps out, if you put your feet up on them while sitting, they slide right back under the seat! There's nothing to lock them in place like there used to be)! Thanks for sharing!
Response: I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. Thanks so much for the heart.
Comment: this is quite a "gem" first I want to say what a lovely envelope and stamp...thanks for making it special...the extras are just wonderful..it's like getting a RAK ! thanks so very much...about the atc..I love an atc with a little something extra..like a "story" behind it...and this was great ... thanks for everything...
Response: So glad you liked everything. When I saw what this swap was about, the first thing I thought of was the Partridge Family bus! And, a map of Albuquerque fit with them perfectly! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Hello Kim,
Thank you for the 3 ATCs you created for me. All 3 ATCs are very different in presentation, but they are all jut beautiful. The hot air balloon will be a great addition to my Transportation Series. The other two will be a great addition to my General ATC Collection.
Thank you for sharing your ATC making talent with me.
Comment: Thank you for a terrific PC. Handmade are my favorite to get because we get to use our creativity and they are so original. You sound like you get the most out of summer you can and enjoy every bit of what summer has to offer. You defiantly know how to have a perfect stress free summer. I think many of us need to take a page from your book on how to enjoy it more. Thank you for a great swap. Happy Swapping
Response: So glad you enjoyed the postcard. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thanks for your list. Your list is basically the kind of things i love to read, so i can't wait to find them in my local library... I must go out and find The Princess Bride, one of my favorite movies as a child. So i should really read it too. Thanks again

Response: So glad you liked it! I enjoy those types of songs, too! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you for sharing your awesome pictures with me in this swap. I had never seen a lettuce plant flower like the one you pictured. I must say that it is exquisite. I hope you are enjoying a wonderful Spring day.
Response: Thanks for the heart. I planted a mixture of different lettuces a couple of years ago behind the house. I'm amazed they re-seeded and keep coming back.

Comment: I loved your home, Kim. Your black and white kitty is identical to one I had. You also have a little windmill just like one we had but it got ruined. Thanks so much for the swap! Pet that cute bunny for me!
Response: Thanks for the heart. The windmill is my neighbor's and the wind keeps blowing it over! :)
Comment: Great ATC! Two weeks ago I went to a mystery authors conference and one evening's entertainment was a group of actors who did several old radio shows, complete with sound effects. Thank you.
Response: Thanks. That sounds like fun! I love old radio shows. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Dear Kim:
Thank you for the scarf. I received it in the mail this afternoon after I came home from shopping. Is this a knitted scarf? At first, I thought that it was crocheted using the front post stitch; however, after I took a closer look at it again, I realized that it's knitted. I've been crocheting since I was 8 years old; although I do knit too. But if I want to get something done quickly, I will crochet it.
Your knit stitches are very even and uniformed. Many people that knit sometimes don't have even uniformed stitches. Oh.... by the way, thanks for the fat quarter too. I like the print very much. I like it when people send me fat quarters.
Response: So glad you liked it! I made it on a knitting loom. I used 3 different yarns to make a bulky yarn. It was fun and easy to make. I want to learn to crochet, too. Glad you liked the fabric, too! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Fun, fun, fun. First of all, the handmade envelope, then so many interesting papers and other ephemera, and if that isn't enough, an ATC and a lovely, handcrafted dessert cookbook/zine. Thank you.
Response: So glad you enjoyed it all! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Hi Kim! Thank you for your email. The pictures are great! I can't believe that you still have the Monopoly box. That is amazing!!! When we play I'm always the money bag lol. Actually, I've been wanting to play for awhile, but my family is too busy.
Response: Thanks for the heart! Yeah, I still have the whole game with all the pieces and money and cards. Complete, but very worn!
Comment: I absolutely loved opening all the little gifts! I love the stamp, crop hopper, apple melts and angels! I've never worked with the shains before but I'm sure it will be fun... Thank you for the lovely package and sorry it took so long to get back to you(been under the weather). Happy New Year! jen
Response: Glad you liked everything! Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Lots of H's! Thanks so much! Love the hat- cute ears! Even heart material to wrap in! The stickers are adorable, and the heart box is cool too and the book is interesting. Thanks so very much! Happy Swapping! jen
Response: Glad you enjoyed it all! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Wonderful surprise package! The packaging itself was a gift. LOVE the napkins, though I have to admit I use ones like this as guest towels in the powder room LOL. My very favorite one is the sweet cross-stitch floral one, so very vintage! Thank you again for such generosity! My birthday was last month and this sure feels just like another birthday present!
Response: So glad you liked them. I only use cloth napkins and always like to find vintage or unusual ones. Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for the cute visor and little beach bag. So cute and I will use both of them. I can carry my smaller projects and my lunch in the bag and the visor is just too fun not to wear... Many thanks...
Response: So glad you like them! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Thank you so much for all you sent. I love the ceramic bunny , the bunny address stickers and the cute little wooden shelf bunny. Your bunny Robin is so cute. He looks so small. Thank you again, Shirley Sorry I meant to give you a heart.
Response: Glad you liked everything! Robin was tiny in that pic. He's HUGE now!
Comment: Thank you so much Kim!! I love, love, love the "Bless our Home" wall hanging!! The lace bag is so pretty, the tulip makeup bag will be perfect for jewelry on vacation this summer & who can't use ribbon roses for crafty projects?!! Thank you for making this a fun swap!!
Response: So glad you liked it all. All I could think of for garden was flowers. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Wow!! I loved the jean purse! I have to admit when I first saw it all folded up that it was just an ordinary pair of shorts or jeans...little scared on what the size might be :) my eyes just lit up when I unfolded it and discovered it was a purse...lol! It is so me! I love it. Thanks for the horsey notepad as well(and coupons). Loved that you checked my profile. Wish I could give more than 1 heart. Thank you, thank you, thank you
Response: So glad you liked everything!
Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Hello Kim, I thought I was going to bust a gut laughing at the bacon strip. I've done plastic canvas for many years & and have never saw a piece of bacon. I love it! Then I saw the kite with seashell and charms on the tail. What a clever idea. I really enjoyed this swap and thank you from the bottom of my heart. It is definitely one of my top 3 favorite swaps! Blessings
Response: Thanks so much for the heart. Glad you liked them so much! It didn't start out as bacon, just simple stripes! But, the more I worked on it ... my weird brain just went there! And, that kite was a challenge with that weird shape! :)
Comment: Dear Kim..please hug your Ezra for me..He is so cute >_< hehe..Thank you for considering my husband's fave tea..I will make sure he drinks it :D :D I have some stomachache problem, then one of Yogi Stomach ease is so perfect choice :D
Response: Glad you enjoyed the pictures. Hope you both like the tea. Thanks for the heart.
Comment: Thank you for the card and teas! I've heard that people came here and named our town after theirs in Spain- they tried to grow grapes but didn't have any luck! Now Malaga is just a little teensy town that most people haven't even heard of here in NJ haha!
Response: Glad you liked them! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Wow, you grew and dried your own lavender for the sachets? That's impressive. And inspirational for me. I wonder if lavender grows in hot, southern climates? The cloth wipes are a great idea. I cloth diapered a couple of my kids but never tried washable wipes. Thanks for sending such cool ideas, and for joining the swap!
Response: Lavender seems to be a pretty hardy plant. I live near Sacramento, CA. and it can get pretty hot and dry around here. Give it a try!
Glad you liked the ideas!
Comment: Thanks for the extra tea bag! I haven't tried them yet, but they look great and I love the ingredients~ Thanks for writing down the ones for the bag that didn't have them listed, too ^.^
Also, cute envelope, and sorry about your thumb lol~
Response: Hope you like them! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Hi Kim, I received your letter yesterday. It got damage in the rain and it was torn open a bit. The mail put a plastic baggie around it, so I guess that's why it took a little longer.
Thanks for your letter and extra's!
Comment: Thank you for the ATCs. I like the cardinals one, as well as the one with a girl with yarn braids and a clock by her face. And the notecard with the tigers was so awesome too! I love tigers. :D
Comment: Hi Kim! thank you so very much for the great items. I always wanted a chime and could never get one because my husband is a very light sleeper and hears every sound. Now that I have one and it was given to me, he can't say anything, LOL! Also, the humming bird feeder is adorable and my daughter took it away from me and put it on the outside of her window. Thanks again! So worth the wait.
Comment: What a fun mix of goodies! I already know I will be using the old maid cards with my friend's kids-their age ranges are pretty big so there are not a lot of games they are all the rigth age to play, even the youngest can join in!
Comment: The handmade tea wallet is so adorable and I'll make use of it everyday I'm sure. Thank you so much for the teas (peach is my favorite!) and the Stevia packets too, I couldn't live without that stuff! xoxo
Response: So glad you liked everything! Thanks for the heart!
Comment: Lovely, lovely, lovely dear - thx! How on earth did you manage to get that narrow bias binding on? I used the double wide stuff and still couldn't get it right! lol The extra buttons and pocket inclusions were also a nice touch. (";)
Response: Thanks for the heart. I'm so glad you liked it. I ironed the bias tape down the middle, then guided the machine slowly by hand, so it wouldn't get away from me!
Comment: Your travel dotee is so nice. I love the charm you chose for the bottom and the suitcase. And thank you for the buttons. I like to use buttons on my crochet and knitting and I have the perfect project to use these for!
Response: Thanks for the heart. So glad you liked everything.
Comment: I got your great pkg in the mail today and that is such a neat pen yopu sent! ...great teas and I really like the postcards and I especially love that picture of the dry bush and mountain in the background. :o) and thank you for the cute little cut-outs. Take care!

Comment: Candace is a pretty kitty! I'm sorry that you lost Jorgy too soon...I lost a dog 2 years ago and I still smile when I think of all the things my Buddy used to do...Jorgy will live on in your memory and will make you smile and cry when you think of him. Be blessed.
Comment: WOW ~ Kim, what an awesome "<3 THRIFTY FINDS" package! Where do I begin ~ my son Ryan (9) has already hung the Dream Catcher up right next to his other one. Riley (10) has nabbed up the buttons for his collection, and I have a plan for the Dollie and ribbon, I will use it on an apron. The best part is the doll I can put together for my granddaughter, thank you so very, very much!
Response: So glad you and the boys liked everything and have a use for them!
Comment: great pix-i really got a sense of how many supplies you have! the vintage sewing machine is wonderful, and so great that it still works like new! thanks for sharing-happy creating & swapping! :)
Response: Thanks for the heart. Yeah. I used to have a great old Singer, but it got damaged in a move. I was thrilled with this Domestic as it only had one owner, who I knew. So glad it still works! Must sew more crafts! haha!
