Comment: Hi Elizabeth! There's so much to say about this postcard! I love the Harvey Milk postcard - I had no idea he was Lithuanian American! Also loungewear and Lizzo were brilliant choices! I didn't think of those! Also all the stickers and stamps are so cool! I haven't see those stamps before! I love the Olympics ones! Excellent postcard overall! :)
Response: I’m so glad you like it. I am adopted and a few years ago did 23andme I too am Lithuanian America. Thank you for the heart also
Comment: Thanks for sharing your "I" answers with me! A couple of them were the same as my answers...lol I also love the Teddy Bear postcard!
Response: I’m so glad it got there. I’m not sure how soon after it happened, but a car ran into the mailbox . They fixed it fast fortunately and it is back. Thank you for the heart. I’ll let the neighbors know their mail is still going out
Comment: I love this postcard with the old Woody on the beach! Dreaming of warmer days but we had a beautiful White Christmas. I like the stamps you used too. Thank you so much and happy you joined! : )
Response: Thank you so much for the heart and I’m glad you liked it. I know about the white Christmas. My mother in law texted me yesterday saying how pretty it was in GA. I hope you got to see the Christmas star. The snow was too bad in some places
Comment: Thank you for the postcard It is interesting to see the answers that others come up with and how different they are from mine. I find myself saying that is a great answer how did I miss it? LOL
Response: Thank you for the heart. It is interesting to see the answers. For storage I got brass candle sticks and yep how did I not think of that .
Comment: Thank you! And thank you for the ephemera! I'm struck by this "hair cutting chart". This "half shingle": I think he has a part on the back of his head! I'd discuss the other items, but I think I'm going to be staring at this piece for awhile... :-)
Response: That was a pretty random piece in a Tim Holtz pack. I always found hair charts fascinating too, especially the ones they put up the swap meet . Oddly my Papa never had one .he was a barber for over 60 years
Comment: This TV dinner card is the BEST! Thank you for telling me about all your traditions. I grew up in Ohio and MI so am quite familiar with those wonderful recipes. My cutout cookie recipe is from my great-grandmother and everyone loves it. I hope your holiday season is wonderful!! Thanks :):)
Response: I am so glad you like it. We are going to start baking this week. The old recipes are the best. I get the “healthier” versions but it’s just not the same . Have a wonderful Holidays too
Comment: Thank you for the slams! I will get these played and sent on. Also wanted to thank you for all the cute stickers you included. Every sticker was from my favorites on my profile! I will have fun putting them in my journal to save forever. Thank you for being thoughtful.
Response: You are so welcome. I am happy you can use the stickers. Thanks for passing on the slams
Comment: I love historical novels and movies about real people. Thank you for telling me about this book. The bottom got smudged though, did you give me a site where I can get stationary and post cards? Because I would love to know about it if you see this comment! Thank you!
Response: Daiso is where I go. They are not in Europe though. If you ever come visit there are plenty in California, including near Camp Pendleton Thank you for the heart
Comment: Thank you so much for the recipe! I'll be trying it out soon. The card is awesome, by the way! Once we have the office set up in our new home I'm going to hang up a cork board for all my favourite postcards and this one is definitely going up there!
Comment: Anybody who loves Outlander will have something to talk about for a long time! I read Outlander when it first came out, and then I would reread the whole series every time a new book came out. I'm sure she's taking a break while helping to film the series, but the books ended with a situation that needs to be explained/solved, so I can't wait for her to get that written. She almost didn't get published in the beginning b/c they didn't know what category to put her in, and they felt people were not looking for paperbacks of about 1000 pages!
Comment: Thank you for the cute stickers flakes! Unfortunately we don't have Daiso in Germany or anywhere in Europe, from what I can find. I'll have to try to get to one the next time I'm in the States. 😊 I'll pass the postcard on in the next round. Take care! ❤️
Response: That was fast! Mail is so weird lately lol! Thank you for the Heart. California has the most Daisos ,so I’m lucky
Comment: Thanks a lot for the amazing figure skating pin up card, it's indeed new to my collection. Too bad your mum said no to your sister going professional otherwise you'd have had a famous person in your family haha.
Response: I’m glad you like it. Actually we do have 3 famous athletes lol! John ( US Pro volleyball team) Joey Harrington ( NFL) and Padraig Harrington ( golfer)
Comment: Thanks for the great bags & all of the cool ephemera that you sent. I love it and can definitely put everything to use. I actually left L.A. five years ago (lived in Porter Ranch) and know what you mean about thrift store heaven. I used to get so much stuff there. Not as much here, but my library has a table of 10-cent discontinued books that often yield treasures. Thanks for joining the swap!
Response: You are so welcome. Thank you for the heart. I head up there Sunday. Staying safe of course and hopefully I’ll score a lot of deals
Comment: Thank you for the adorable "donut kitty" postcard, I had to laugh as it reminds me of some crazy t-shirts I have seen my friend wear. We don't have kids either, we have 4 fur babies (cats), which is one of the perks/downfalls of working at an animal shelter - you end up with a zoo at home. I hope you get your European trip after things get better in the world and I hope you are well. Oh, fireworks are so bad here that the police call ME back when I fill out the online fireworks report! I think everyone is bored at home, so this year they are going even crazier with the illegal fireworks and I HATE it. Take care and be safe!
Response: Thank you so much for the heart. At least you get a call from the police. We figured out a way to get them. Call the landlord. The main house ‘s landlordLives in Ventura,so he didn’t know. Since the call They stopped. Speaking of Ventura,Ive seen the socks of the donut kitties at the sock shop at the Harbor.
Comment: Thank you for the great postcard and your nice note. In February I visited the Nevada test site museum in Las Vegas. It doesn't say anything about Area 51. But then there's only half a sentence about people getting cancer from atomic blasts.
Response: So glad you liked the card.My Nana would claim she saw UFOs all the time in San Bernardino.( not too far from the desert) They have almost to a tee pinpointed it to the Mojave desert. The old timers .are spilling the beans. A good museum to visit on the atomic bomb is the Japanese American Museum in Little Tokyo. Little Tokyo is worth a visit anyways
Comment: This is a great card! I was so proud that we added another voter in my son, who recently turned 18, and went to the polls for primary voting back in March.
Response: Thank you so much for the heart and Im so glad you like the card. Great news about your son, my students from my first year working at my school turn 18 too. I still see a lot of them,so believe me I’ll be on them about it
Comment: thank you for such a cute card & stickers!! I've never heard anyone from the US say 'crisps', so it was amusing to me! I dont like PB&J sandwiches but i also put crisps in my sandwiches! best thing ever. If you like that, try chcolate and crisps ! Heaven!!
Response: I’m so glad you liked it. Also happy it got there pretty fast. We actually have a few brands of chocolate bars that are potato chips and chocolate. I
There are two expat families in my neighborhood lol. And my old neighbor was Welsh. I know it’s uncommon . Whenever I get back from Europe I have to reverse to American words. I ask where is the lift ,then I forget

That was SO SWEET of you to send the Tuxedosam memos, my husband LOVES them!!! He managed to let me keep one, hahaha. He actually freaked out and wanted me ask you where you got that memo pad, haha, our Sanrio doesn't have memo pads sadly. I also loved the Sabo Kappa and the one with the makeup is ADORABLE!!! Thanks for the great memos!
Response: You are soo welcome ! I wish they would bring nyan nyanko back. But so far none of the new san x catalogs show anything. the make up was what they call a test character. They make a few things to see if it takes off. It didn't.I am pretty sure I got the tuxedo sam memo pad in the fashion square mall. You will know it from Clueless and lately the pregnant woman drinking punch in the geico taste test commercial lol ! sanrio is right behind her actually .

Although I am not fond of Kawaii, I certainly love the Peter Pan ones : ) My collection contains many different types of Peter Pan so the notes you sent will go right in! Thanks so much for your thoughtfulness and happy swapping ~~

Comment: The official color of St. Patrick's day is blue??? What?! LOL. How is that possible? Thank you for the card and postcard. I really enjoyed the postcard. Yes, the goose image is very true to life. Just a great image all around. Thank you for passing this card on to me, and the story to go along with it. :) Elyse
Response: you are very welcome Elyse and thank you for the heart.Ya, I found out the "real" color of St.Patricks Day is in fact blue.I was helping my Mom with something at her school ,which is a Catholic one.And I was like why are all the altar dressings blue ? She explained to me that blue is related to st patrick.
I also heard that green was more marketable for cards etc and it was less associated with a saint. and everybody loves clovers. Especially the Japanese for some reason
Comment: thank you so much for the cute card and an extra thank you for the cute little stickers wrapped up! i loved them :)
Response: Thank you so much for the heart and I'mglad you liked them.I actually find more clover stickers at the kawaii stores than I do at hallmark around St patricks day. I think they are cuter too :)

"Television! Teacher, mother, secret lover."
Response: Thanks so much for the heart.. sorry I didn't respond. I am so behind in school lol ! but ya it was fun finding all the quotes I actually agree on the fact that to kill a mockingbird teaches you NOTHING about killing mockingbirds lol !
