Comment: Thanks for the card! You may find it amusing (I know I do) that the USPS cancelled BOTH sided of your card. Looks like it might possibly also have a hand cancel. It got well cancelled! :) Oh, and I like your metallic washi tape. Thanks!
Response: Good grief! I put my pcs in my mailbox clipped together with a note to please hand cancel them....my preference. They must have run them through the machine anyway!! HA!
Comment: Thanks for the postcards & extra. Also hope you have a lovely trip to the UK in July. The weather should be better by then, I totally recommend Scotland. It’s really beautiful (I try visit Edinburgh & Glasgow to see my family who live there)
Comment: Hi there, I finally figured out who sent me something--it got chewed up by the mail machines, so I only could see my name and the Mr. Rogers stamp. :( 7/21/18 Thanks for the resend :)
Response: This makes me so sad!! I bought two of those cards while visiting my daughter in another part of the state. I'm going to resend because I think it reflected what Mr. Rogers stood for. Be on the lookout for it in your mailbox!!
Comment: Hi Bonnie! Thank you for the greeeeat crab cakes postcard! I really want to try this recipe sometime soon with some seasonal crab meat :D It would be perfect for a summer barbeque here in Perth :)
Comment: Thank you for the quotes! Those are all really good ones!! And... Drool!... I can't wait to try the recipe you included!! I'm definitely making some cookies this weekend now!! Also your note was so fun to read, I'm so happy your dreams came true! You're so sweet!!
Comment: Hi! Love the card - too cute and thank you for letting me know about my pc as well! I am thinking Jennifer's can go at least one person after me, it sure has gotten around! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Thanks for the swap. Do you know about quilt trails? I just spent about a month in Gibson county and it is fun to see these as you're driving around. [clicky link](http://www.gibsoncountyin.org/assets/files/Quilt_Tour_Visitor_Guide_2013-rev_4-15.pdf)
Response: Oh yes! There is a quilt trail in the mountains of NC. I also found one in WV. They are wonderful!!
Comment: Bonnie, thank you so much for the amazing package you sent!!! Initially I thought, oh shit, who the hell is sending such a large postcard it needs an envelope THAT big, but when I opened it up........ WOW!! You are the best!! Thank you for making my day!!
Comment: thank you for the great vintage postcard. I like that you didn't cover the orginal box asking for a 1 cent stamp lol. I bought a lot of old Postcards off of ebay not too long ago and got one from 1907. I love these older cards :)
Response: Oh, I do too!!! Glad you liked the card!
Comment: Hi Bonnie, thanks for the cool Helmick/Schechter Rabble installation art piece. It looks like it would be a fun one to see in person. It sounds like you had a pretty busy Xmas Eve day. I hope your 2013 is great! Cynthia
Response: Yes, I got to see it for myself.....it was huge and it was made of beautiful mechanical butterflies (that actually "flew" up and down and flowers. Lovely!
Comment: Bonnie, your quilt is lovely and I adore your choice of colors! Fall colors are so serene and I do love turquoise no matter how you use it. ;-)
Thanks for sharing your quilt with it. It's a beauty and I love that you hand-quilted it.
Response: So glad you enjoyed it! Now if I could actually FINISH other quilts I've started!! ;^)
Comment: Couldn't even tell that you were writing your PC in a moving vehicle...you're GOOD! Bet your daughter's performance was delightful. Hope your Thanksgiving was, too. The artist by the fire paining is so creative...I'm going to keep it handy as those winter winds roll in here this weekend. That looks like it'll a powerful piece of art to keep around here in WNY! Thanks
Comment: The squares are amazing!!! I love the bright colors and the variety. Thank you so much for the squares, I'd give you two hearts if I could because the package was awesome AND you gave a few extras :)
Comment: I like covered bridges, too. You'll never believe it, but we have one here in Eagle Point, Oregon, and another one somewhere else! I thought they were all back in the mid-west and eastern US. Thanks for the PC.
Comment: Thank you for the postcard from North Carolina. My husband really likes the lighthouses on it. We went back to school on Monday. Glad to hear you didn't break your ankle. But sometimes it hurts worse when you don't break it. Hope you have a great week.
Comment: I have a ton of these postcards to make for swaps and I must say yours is the first one that actually has more then just a box. I have been using glitter and coloring on them too. But all the ones I am getting have nothing until yours. Thanks
Comment: Quilters are absolutely artists! I used to quilt when my kids were small and my hands could handle the needle. I love quilt shows and am always amazed at the art, artistry, and artisanship that goes into quiltmaking. Thank you for the quilt postcard... it is a reminder of days gone by and I will treasure it together with my memories of quilting days!
Now, that said, I'll get down to answering your question. Although I love watercolor, my favorite medium is oil paint because it's so luscious... kind of like spreading frosting all over a canvas. My favorite subjects are things I take photographs of myself whether it be my friend's chickens free ranging around her farmyard or touristy type shots from various adventures and sometimes I work from still lifes I set up in the spare bedroom that has become my workspace. Thank you for asking!
Comment: Ha! Guess what came in the mail today! :) The journal is soooo cute! I like the ink stamped images too - I love those cute little ones. Happy belated 25th anniversary! And oh, yes, I watch Vampire Diaries just for Damon too. LOL.
Response: HA!! YEAH!!! I'm so RELIEVED!! So glad you liked it! ;^)
Comment: Hi! Thanks for the fun, informative pc about Myrtle Beach! I wish our town had something cool like that! My favorite place to go on vacation has been to an all inclusive resort in Mexico! Our family has gone twice and it is so lovely there, plus almost everything at the resort is included in the price, so that is wonderful! Also we love the sun, beach and being together, so it was awesome! Hopefully we will get to go again some day! Thanks so much for bringing up such wonderful memories for me! Hugs and Happy Swapping! ;)
Comment: Beautiful postcard! Thank you =) And to answer your question: my most memorable vacation has a three way tie! Either Disney World with my mom, sisters, and my sister's best friend, or the road trip I took on Route 66 two summers ago, or the trip I went on to Ireland. I have great memories from all of these vacations! They're once in a lifetime type occurrences, and I'm so glad that I was able to go =)
Comment: Oh my, thanks for the very beautiful postcard! Your week sound interesting. And that Tornado sounds bad.. Have the storms ended now? I wish so. The stamps were very sweet btw! Sorry for taking a while before I got time to register. I've had crazy month these days, so busy that feel like I got no time to do anything! Have a great week!
Comment: Thank you for the Flying Vegetables - very cool! Being an amateur Photoshop artist myself, I appreciate this art form. Also, I like the stamped "dream" image. Wordart fascinates me - I design my own. One day you may receive a postcard from me and will see what I mean. Best wishes and thanks again. Batten down the hatches in case Irene comes your way this week-end, but let's hope it dissipates over the Atlantic ...
Response: I totally dislike hurricane season!! I look forward to receiving a PC from you one day! Glad you enjoyed mine ;^)
Comment: What a delight to receive a postcard from a state I use to live in. Back in 1989-1991 I use to live in Charlotte. Had the opportunity to visit the coast as well as the Winston-Salem and Asheville areas. Every part of NC was so lush and green...just lovely! I remember fondly the avenues of pear trees in blossom in Charlotte. It was absolutely stunning and such a mood-lifter every day I was able to drive on those roads.
Response: Charlotte really is pretty in the springtime!! Glad the card brought back good memories for you!! ;^)
Comment: Thanks so much for the postcard of the home of the Tarheels! I know what you mean about monetary allegiances ... LOL! I am a Duke fan, too (when they aren't playing my MSU Spartans). But, having Carolina blue for your school colors... SWEET!
Comment: Your PC made me crave the Girl Scout cookies I tried in America once but can't get here. I hate that! But to answer your question, I think going to an all-girls' school for six years had a huge impact on my life. A positive one! :)
Response: I think you are right about going to an all-girls' school. Wish I could convince my daughter of the same thing!! ;^) Yes, those are my favorite cookies!! Since they are only sold one time a year, I know people who buy lots of boxes and put them in their freezers....works well!!
Comment: Got your postcard yesterday but didn't realize it until this morning... it was stuck inside a magazine!! Sorry! I love the postmark - very cool!! Thanks for hosting the swap! p.s. I ♥ manatees!

Response: Hope you receive the envelope with PCs in it very soon!! ;^)
Comment: Hi Bonnie & thanks for the cute Roller Maids PC from the 1920s. I used to love rollerskating as a girl, but I think, like you, I'd break my neck if I did it now. I'd need lots of padding & a helmet! This one made me smile. Take care ;)
