Comment: Thank you for the awesome postcard! I've never been to a pride event, the idea scares me though because of the ignorance of others... :-( OMG, did you get to meet Prince Poppycock? I remember seeing him on AGT and I LOVED him. Take care of yourself!
Response: These events felt safer in the PNW, in those past times. The public in general is often terrifying now. Prince Poppycock was apparently being a diva prior to the performance. It started late and ended early. The meet and greet was cancelled. It was loads of fun anyway! The SF Dyke march holds some fun memories for me too, and of course seeing my high school PE teacher on a float in the Long Beach parade years after I'd graduated.

Comment: I love these!!! What a perfect surprise!! Your envelopes are always so cute. Do you use a template? They are perfect...I also love the 6x9-ish size because they fit stickers and that. Love it. Thanks so much!
Response: I don't use a template. I used to do it all on my paper cutter, but now I trim 12x12 paper to 12x8.5 and use a scor board to mark my folds, then trim flaps with scissors. Then I can use the 3.5x12 strips for other projects, or for swap info notes, or atc backgrounds to send out (I don't make ATCs). I'm a fan of the size, too! Perfect for sticker and PC swaps.

I loved the kelp forest handmade envelope (I don't know if you knew I really enjoy kelp forests but so cool!) and the beautiful notecard/envelope and sticker flat surprises! Your handmade cryptid card is also very cute. I appreciated the attention to detail and descriptive writing you did about the massacre of the Wiyot people, something I did not know about before so it was nice to learn something new even though the topic is of course very sad and unpleasant. You can ruin my week anytime! :)

Response: I chose the right person to send that PC to! Yay! My ma goes to rankin ranch twice a year for a quilting retreat and LOVES it! The girl in the PC is now an adult and helps run the guest ranch and livestock and market. Ma loves to take gifts to the the young ladies, and pb pretzels are a favorite!

Comment: I remember now that you mentioned it again. We lived in Logan for a year when our oldest was 12 months old. We returned when she was about 22yrs old to show her where we lived when she was a baby, and it is so changed that we had a difficult time finding our old apartment!! She is now 43 years old, so I can imagine it is ever more grown in size! We got a cool spell for a few days and RAIN!!! So happy!! I hope all is well with you. Thanks for the awesome swap!

Response: The only thing I use facebook for! There are a few associated groups on fb - one is called From the Heart, also Postcards From the Heart, and one for people who are adults but not yet seniors called Comfort and Joy. You can join the groups and see requests for cards or postcards. If you love to send without replies just to brighten someone's day, I highly recommend joining up! I don't use a return address so they understand there is no expectation of a reply. Sometimes there are photos of the recipients enjoying their happy mail, and I have 17 regulars I send to monthly. I just added the links to the top of my profile.

Response: I did make two of them. 😀 I worked at a stationary shop in Edmonds WA called The Papery, and those envelopes were leftovers from the card racks. They had the stamp already, but I really like them. I have a few different kinds.
