Description:

Do you love taking black & white photographs? For this swap, create two 6"x4" postcards from your own photography to mail to your partners. (You send one postcard to each partner, which means you send two postcards in total).

To create the postcards, have your photographs printed in a darkroom, at a photo lab or at home on your own photo printer. Adhere cardboard to the back of the photo to make it into a postcard (if required). Then write on the postcard, explaining a little about the photo, perhaps where it was taken and why you like it! Stamp and send naked (ie: no envelope) to your partner.

Remember - the photo you use MUST be your own original photograph and it must be Black & White.

Newbies welcome with a well filled out profile. Subject matter is senders choice.... any photographs from your collection is fine (Please be tasteful!) Swappers must have no recent 1's or 3's. Happy Swapping!!!

If you are adhereing to a piece of card board, wouldn't it be easier to send in an envie?

Also I think it may take a little more than 7 days, because we have to take the picture, get it printed (Which most home printers don't do the highest quialty, adhere it to the cardboard then send it!! Could you extend it maybe by a couple days to a week?

Hi Hartline22,

These swaps are designed to be 'mail art', so the postcard, stamp and message are all on the one thing. Your challenge is to make the photo/postcard sturdy enough so that it goes through the postal system. If your partners prefer their postcards sent in an envelope, by all means you can do that, but if they state no preference, please sent it naked.

With regards to timing, I've extended the send date, so you have 10 days. Hope this helps!

Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
