Description:

I've hosted this swap once before and had fun...so I thought I'd try again. :)

My favorite swaps are ones that you're able to spend a bit of time reading your partner's profile and picking out just the right items for them. I also have a passion for handmade, and I have really enjoyed the swaps where you pick a certain number of things from a list to send your partner. I've tried to combine my favorites into one swap.

For this swap you will choose 5 items from the lists below to send to your partner. Please do your best to send items that you think your partner will enjoy.

The reason for the categories is simply an attempt to keep everyone on the same page. It's no fun sending a handmade item it took you hours to complete only to get an envelope of stickers in the mailbox...or vice versa. :)

List #1 should be easy to complete, list #2 might take a little more effort, and list #3 should take the most time. I would give yourself at least an hour to work on list #3's handmade item.

...Ok, on to the lists....

~A Few More Things~

This swap is open to swappers who have sent over 5 snail mail packages and who have good ratings with no recent unexplained 1's or 3's.

Because I'm trying to encourage people to send according to their partner's profiles, having your profile well filled out is a must before you can join. I'm keeping this swap US only because it's simpler to host and cheaper to send. If anyone would like to host an international verson, feel free to.

I will be checking profiles of course, but life happens and if you don't meet my qualifications but would like to join, please message me and we'll probably be able to figure something out.

Also, I will angel if needed...but I'm expecting no problems.

Hello I'm really interested please read my profile questions though

1)what are inchies and rinchies 2)what do you mean by 1 piece of "flat"artwork, 6x6" or larger..."embellishments are fine," just not 3D.

does that mean no texture art, or basically 1/32 of an inch or thinner

3)what is a profile suprise?

Hi VikkiInWonderland. Thanks for the interest and welcome to swap bot.

An inchie in a 1X1" piece of art and a rinchie in a 1" circle piece of art. Think like an ATC but those sizes instead.

The artwork can definitely have texture and be made out of whatever you would like...but it should be based on a board..or paper..or something flat. I was trying to stay away from stuffies or amigurumi, which is what I might consider 3D art.

And a profile surprise is something you decide would be perfect to send for your partner based on their profile. So basically, if you want to make something that's not on the last that you think your partner would love, go ahead.

And I'll message you about a private swap with the same theme. :-)
