Description:
Need a way to use up some of your super, special, double-sided 12 X 12 designer papers (or an excuse to buy some more =). Here's a great swap for you! We will be making a mini-book with pocket pages. These adorable little mini albums contain 8 pockets that can then be filled with all kinds of flat items (gift cards, pictures, tags, ATC's, tea bags, etc.) In your mini-album choose to fill at least 4 of the pockets with something special from the suggestions above or your own creative ideas. You may fill up to all eight if you desire. The tutorial for creating the albums can be found here by Jamie for Crop Chocolate, with further help and ideas here by ArtsyMouse and here. Please feel free to make the simpler version seen on the first video, or dress up the outside a bit as seen on the second and third videos. The theme for this first album will be WINTER. Coordinate your materials accordingly to represent snow, hats, gloves, mittens, snowmen, skiing, sledding, etc. I hope to be hosting more of these mini-album swaps, so keep an eye out for them in the months to come.

I am so excited for this! I just finished up mine, and made a few extra's for gifts for my mom, sister and gram with photos of the kids.

I love trying new projects, I really hope we are going to have a valentines one, I am already thinking about all the red and pink bling!

What if were we live there are NO-double-sided 12x12papers? :( Too bad... We only get one side 12x12 and double sided 6x6 :S

I just want to make sure I have this correct:

We can fill it with anything that will fit in it right? Do the items we fill it with have to be winter themed too? or can those be anything fun that will fit?

It reads as if the actual mini should be decorated in a winter theme but we can fill any way we would like... I just want to make sure.

That sounds great @kiwivandal I think a winter-themed album with senders choice of contents seems reasonable. Sorry for my delay getting back to all on this! Holiday travels =)

@melimar I want to strongly encourage double-sided 12X12, but if you just don't have access to that please don't let that keep you from participating. Use the supplies available to you.
