I bet we all have old calendars we can use to make enviews Sooooo, make an envelope either with wrapping paper left over (heavy type), old calendars, magazine pages, printed paper used in scrapbooks, anything that makes the envie different. Now, size them no smaller than 5 1/2 x 4 1/2 (when finished). Two envies you send in an envie to your swapper. Two (2) swappers, making that 4 envies you send. The envelpe you send them in can be a plain one or decorated whatever you want. NO NEWBIES this time please I will check profiles to see how you are rated in swaps. No more than one 1 or 1 three in the past 4 months. Things do happen after you signup and I will check that too. These envies are so neat to have on hand to send cards and letters to and the postoffice clerk sometimes even gets a smile on their face. Come join in and be artistic, its easy and there are a lot of envelope formats on google.

I've noticed that some people are upset if handmade envies are are not ready to be mailed: pre-glued...Do the envies have to have glue on them for mailing? I normally just tape my homemade envies or use a glue stick before mailing. Thanks.

I cannot believe anyone would get upset over the homemade envies not having glue to seal. Unbelievable people can be so petty. You mean no one has tape or glue stick to fasten?? These envies do not have to be self sticking. Thanks for asking turtlelady 45.

I have made envelopes from plain paper and stamp them all over leaving a nice clean spot for addresses, is that acceptable?

If you mean, closing the flap you don't have to, just the sides to put the envie together. N ot to just seal it shut to mail.

I sent envies larger than the size you specified and am now being asked by my swap partner to resend more envelopes to the exact specifications...so much for this being fun...

No, they are SMALLER than the specified size, you did not follow the instructions. I can post a picture for proof that you are in the wrong here.....
