Description:

If you have never quilled before, this swap is for you!
If you don't know what quilling is you can google it and you get lots of pages helping you with tutorials. I came over it that way and wanted to try it out.

We swap one ATC to one partner.
Sender's choice so you can start right away.

Ok, here are the rules:
* Make a sturdy ATC (2,5x3,5 inch/ 64x89 mm)
* On the back write: Title, date, sender's nickname
* Totally sender's choice
* Rating 4,9 or more
* Make sure your profile is filled
* And - NO judges !!! - this is for us all to try out !!

Even if you have quilled often you can join, but keep in mind you can get a partner who quilled for the first time in the life (like me).

I will check all the participants info before I assign partners. Don't want anyone to be flaked on this !!

HAVE FUN !!

Sorry, if you aren't rated yet you can't join this one.

you are welcome - I have never ever made a quilled anything. I can't even get the strips for it so I have to make them myself and that part makes me a bit anxious because it won't be as good as I want it to be since the strips aren't all the same wide.

Is there an alternative to using the quilling tool or will I have to buy one? I'm interested in this!

I don't have any tools, nor the paper - I do it all myself. The quilling tool you can do yourself by a bamboo stick (thin one for barbeque). Cut a bit of the sharp end off and then cut the bamboo stick vertically so it slightly opens.

You can also make a quilling tool from a needle where you open the "eye".

I have tried the bamboo stick myself and it went well, but be very very careful not to cut yourself (I did)
