Tell Me a Tale from Your Childhood Email Swap

We all grew up being told stories of all kinds. They differ from country to country and region to region. For example, I was raised in the south of the United States, so I was told stories about Brer Rabbit. Some stories we heard were folk tales and some were completely made up by our parent or someone older than us. I would like to share some of these stories amongst each other. Who knows?! You may find a new favorite amongst the ones you receive.

You will be emailing your story to 5 partners, and be sure to include what region you were living in when you heard it, or who told it to you. Please no Disney movie plots, as i'm pretty sure the whole world already knows those. :) If you cant remember back that far, you can still join and just do a little research at the local library or online to find a short story you like.
