Description:
This swap will be for one inspiration tag sent to one partner. Sender's choice. You probably have everything on hand to make one. Use a large sized paper tag. (#8) Approximately 6 1/4 x 3 1/4 inches. Use one pre-made or make your own from heavy card stock or doubled scrapbook paper. They need to be sturdy to hold all the embellishments you're going to add. Tag can be stamped, altered or decorated. Wrap the tag with an assortment of trim. (ribbons, fibers, stamped strips of muslin, seam binding, ric-rac, twine etc.) Then tuck in some inspiration items between the trim. (items should be peeking out of the trim) The items should be in the TH style and should be items that will come in handy for your partner, inspiring them for an upcoming project. Tag and items included do not have to be themed, that is up to you. Some examples of items you can tuck into your tag- Charms Small tags Die cuts Small stamped images Think embellishments and think small. Rules- One swap partner Sender's choice Send by deadline Send something you are proud to have made. Inspiration tag in photo is one I made, it is not the one I will be sending to my partner for this swap, unless my partner requests it. Your inspiration tag does not have to be Halloween themed, or themed in any way, unless you so choose.

Fab swap 1 quick question you dont want us to stick anything onto the tag just tuck everything in?or am i wrong,i can just see that by time tag gets across the miles it will be sure to have had things dropped from the actual tag? Soz about the questions but need to make sure

You can stick things onto the tag, if you like. And still tuck some things into the folds of the ribbons or whatever you use to wrap the tag. If you wrap the tag snugly enough, the smaller, lighter objects should stay. Just package it well for mailing.

When I mail something like this, I wrap it tightly in bubble wrap, that helps to keep things in place.

And in the end, everything will be taken off the tag by your partner anyway. :)

Really love doing tags lately, so much freedom to design! Plus I can use my larger stamps!! ;) Did I get some amazing ones on my trip!! I'll post picks of some tags this week!

Sorry- I'm having to drop this one, but only because I don't think I have enough of the "fiber" type stuff to wrap around my tag. Never have really done much with that so I discovered I don't have anything good in my stash after looking. Maybe if there's another one I'll be able to join that round!
