Description:

Hi all - I am taking over hosting duties from Jesshens and tamtamlee for this series of swaps. Let's keep the list journals moving and grooving!

This will be a monthly series of swaps.....

IF YOU TOOK PART IN THE FIRST THROUGH NINTH ROUND::: You will answer the list prompt your partner left for you; then add two lists of your own; and then add a list prompt for your partner before sending off.

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST ROUND:: For this swap, you will get a journal or notebook of any kind. Try to make it around 80 to 100 pages. You will start the journal with an intro about yourself- include your swap-bot name, about a page long. On the last page of the journal put your name and address so whoever fills it up will know where to send it home to. On the next page create a list, any kind of list you want, with at least 10 items in it (this can be a grocery list, things you like, things you hate, things that make you happy, things you need to do, favorite movies, favorite songs, list every boy you have kissed, whatever kind of list you can think of).

Create another list on the flip side of the page, so you will make two lists of your choice. On the next page, write a prompt for your partner to make a list about, and that's it. Package it up and send it off to your partner.

In the next round of swaps, you will answer the list prompt you were given, then write an intro about yourself and then create two more random lists. Add a prompt for your partner to answer, and that's it. That will happen in the next round, so when you receive a journal, hang on to it until you get an email from me with the link to the next round.

Please tell us, in the comments section below, whose journal you currently have. We're all a bit curious if ours is still being circulated.

The fine print: No recent unexplained 1s or 3s. If you still want to join and have those, please PM me to discuss. Also must have completed at least 10 Type 3 swaps. Any questions please post here or PM me!

Have fun!

I'm just joining this for the first time so I just want to be sure I understand...when I receive a journal from my partner I am just hanging onto it until the next round...not returning it now correct?

Yes - you should start a journal of your own - bio page, 2 lists of yours and a list prompt for the person you are sending to. Then when you receive a journal, you fill out the prompt, add another list and write a prompt for the next round. I do this about every 5 weeks. I wait until the send-out date before posting the next swap.

I'm checking in and seeing who has my List Journal. If you have my List Journal would you just leave a note. This is sleepingrover2010 or Barbara Brandt.

I just received the journal of Lori Ann Kocialski. Just so you know where it's at. I will send out in the next round.
