Watercolor Portraits

I adore inks and watercolors--fluid mediums are some of my favorite to use when making miniature works of art. One of my favorite subjects for these watercolors are people, whether realistically drawn or cartoony.

You will make 2 ATCs for your partner with any combination of materials that you like, with a predominant medium of watercolor. This means you can do some collage, but please be sure it's obvious there is watercoloring involved! You can also draw on top of the watercolor with pencils and inks, if you like.

Some suggestions: - choose a sturdy paper to paint on, such as heavy watercolor paper or prepared board. I use gesso with mine, just to prepare the surface. Please do your best work, something you would like to receive, and send in a timely fashion.

International swappers welcome. Please be aware that by signing up for this, you may have to send your ATCs overseas! And do not include any plant matter, feathers, seeds, or soil, as some countries do now allow those things within their borders from outside.
