In this series of swaps, we will have a collection of great verses on beautiful decorated cards.

  • In the comments below, pick two Books of the bible you would like verses from (you can also select what version of the bible you would like it from, aka, KJV, NIV).
  • Make two cards for your one partner based on the books they chose, one verse for each book.
  • Verse is senders choice.
  • Take/make a card that is 5"x3" (the size of an index card) and decorate it nice and pretty and have the verse written on the front (don't forget to write the chapter/verse number and book name on front).

  • The back will be lightly decorated too and should include your username and date.

  • Two cards, one partner.

  • Newbies welcome

  • No rating requirement but I have the right to ban anyone I feel would not make this a great swap experience. (Message me if you feel you need to explain 1's or 3's).

I would like to join but own only German and Norwegian bibles. So I would need help from somebody to find the verses in the right translation. Do you think this is possible?

I would think so. Here is a site with translations and I see several German ones on there. You would just need to let us know which one is correct for you!

hm.. do i have to chose a certain book? or can the sender just pick their favorite verses to send to me?

@mshackle Well, you can do that if you want to, no problem. I set these up so people could choose in case they want a full collection (one from each book) or random cards or certain books.

I'll be running quite a few of these and hope everyone joins them!

Do we just use index cards or is this suppose to be a card like a birthday card card.. I don't know how else to ask my question so I hope that made sense

@mshackle that does make sense! It is NOT a greeting card that opens. But just a card like an index card or ATC that does not open. It does need to be 5"x3" and decorated nicely (so if you use a lined index card, please cover lines and such!)
