This is our last swap of art journal pages for this year. I hope you all enjoyed these swaps. Thanks to those who participated. Wishing you wonderful holidays and all the best in the New YearΓ’β„’Β₯

I set up this swap for everyone and those who feel the same. Beginners are welcome. This is a monthly swap, so I will think of prompts (themes) with which you are to express yourself on those art journal pages. At the end you will have enough pages to create an art journal (depending on the participation, of course).

Prompt 1: How do you spend your Christmas?

Prompt 2: We wish we had more time. Decorate your page illustrating or journaling about time; days, hours, minutes ........

Quantity: create TWO art journal pages and receive two back. 2 for 2.

Orientation: Horizontal Only!

Size of the pages: 5"x7"

Any kind of cardstock can be used (please recycle; time is financially tough, so buying is not necessary!!), but pf course it is sender's choice. On art journal pages water is a normal addition to mediums, so use scrap cardstock which is sturdy enough to carry the water layers on it. Watercolor paper is very, very nice to use. Please be sure that the cardstock is of substantial weight, because these pages may eventually be bound into a journal.

Margin: leave a 1" margin on the left of the page free from embellishment. This margin is meant for binding.

If you sign up for a given month but find that you cannot fulfill your obligation, please let me know as soon as possible. Life happens...swaps are supposed to be fun, and an added pressure to anyone.

Back of the page

Finish the back of each page you create, with your art or with patterned paper. State your swap-bot name, real name, the themes of the pages and the name of the swap on the back of each page. Nice is if you sum up the mediums/technique you used.

Swap requirements

Pages need to be original. No photocopies, digital images, please! Since we are binding our own pages, you can make them a bit more bulky if you wish.

You'll have to send to two partners.
