Altered Rolo #1 - Letter A

Who says rolodexes are a thing of the past? Altered rolodex cards are a creative way to display awesome small works of art and it's a change from making ATCs! The next time you are looking for art ideas pull out your rolodex and see what inspires you!

This swap will be an alphabet series with makeups added every so often to help you build your collection. You will have 3 partners and be making 3 altered rolodex cards (1 per person).

Each of your 3 cards for this round will be themed with the letter A. Pick a place you want to go, your favorite food, animal, flower, bug a favorite quote or poem, the actual letter A...(you get the idea) the choice is yours. Just as long as the word or idea (etc) begins with the letter A or is the actual letter A. Use your imagination. Collage, draw, paint, sketch or stamp, use any medium you like. Your altered rolodex cards will be a display piece eventually so please put time and effort into it and make it awesome.

The rolodex card size we will be using is 2 5/8" x 4". Slightly larger than an ATC. Please decorate the front and put something nice like decorative paper on the back with typical contact info you would include on an ATC. A 100 pack of Rolodex cards is $3 from Staples. You do not have to use actual rolodex cards if you can make one using a template found online. If you are making your own rolodex template, please use heavy paper like 90lb mixed media paper so that they hold up to being flipped through without tearing and that it is the required size.

You can learn more about altered rolodex cards by searching the term on Google images. The goal is to have 3 cards for every letter of the alphabet giving you a collection of about 75 cards once you complete all the swaps.

Rating 4.9 or higher, newbies welcome with well filled out profile. I will use my discretion if you have 1's or 3's in the last 60 days or if I suspect you may flake. I will be checking profiles before assigning partners.
