Description:

The October 2012 Fandom in a Mini Bag swap is the Rocky Horror Picture Show fandom.

Note: due to the nature of this fandom, I'm going to impose an age limit of 18 or above. By signing up, you agree you are of age.

Step 1: Please list in the comments your favorite RHPS characters, songs, moments, props, lines, or any other preference you may have.

Step 2: After partners are assigned, check to see what your partner likes. You can follow-up with a message if you need to know more. Then scrounge up, buy, and/or create items that fit in a bag. Your bag must contain at least 5 different items although more is certainly encouraged to make your bag look full of goodies.

Some ideas of themed items: stickers, ATCs, postcards, toys/action figures, comics, note cards, pins/buttons, magnets, jewelry, trading cards, charms, ornaments, bookmarks, address labels, plushies/stuffies, promo stills/autograph cards, fanfic drabbles/ficlets, etc.

More specific ideas: favorite fan participation moments, fan participation props, items to accentuate a costume, RHPS lost virginity certificate, time warp dance instruction card, etc.

Be sure to check your partner's profile so you don't send anything he or she might be allergic to.

Step 3: Put the items in a ziplock-type bag. Size: 1 quart (roughly 8.5inches by 7 inches or 21.5cm by 18cm). You can decorate the bag or incorporate the bag into something (mount it or sew something around it). If you want to make or buy a bag instead of using a ziplock plastic one, that's fine as well, but it should be at least a quart in size. All items you gather or create should fit into the bag (if a couple are too big, that's fine).

Assemble your bags during the month of October and please send by the deadline (November 1).

NO FLAKING ALLOWED! All flakers will be served for dinner!

I'm not a huge fan of Riff Raff or Magenta. I think Columbia's my favorite (I'm such a fangirl; I can relate LOL). I love glitter and sparkles, but I don't wear actual make-up. I love the songs (I own the soundtrack already and the 25th anniversary DVD). I've never been in a cast but I lost track of how many times I'd seen it live around a dozen, so maybe a handful more than that? I never got a proper de-virgining though because they were rushed that night :-(

If you feel creative, I'd love a set with one ATC for each song. Or any local swag/interesting story about a production you attended. It's so neat to see the differences in casts/shows in different places.

I love Frank-N-Furter, Columbia, Janet, Rocky & the Transylvanians.

I like going to plays & shadow cast theaters. I've never dressed as a particular character but I dress in fishnets & have a red glittered hat that I usually wear. I'd love to do the green doctor gown with "surgical" gloves sometime. I love glitter & sparkles too...in all forms!

I'd like to have a permanent survival pack to take with me to shows. I love the songs, but sadly do not have a copy of the soundtrack...a burned copy would be fantabulous! I need to learn more of the callbacks too! I'd love anything I can wear to a show! :)
