I don't know about you but I used to love to sit in my grandmothers kitchen and look at all the neat refrigerator magnets that she had collected in her travels or that had been brought back for her from her friends travels! Lets use this as inspiration to add to the collections of our fellow swappers. RULES: Each participant will have 2 partners and you will send one magnet each ( you can send more but only one is required) to your partners. So you will send out two magnets and in return you will receive 2 magnets. Each magnet MUST say the City or State you are sending it from. They can of course come from an attraction in your city but it needs to say where it came from ON THE MAGNET as well. This swap is intended to have each person receive a magnet from their partners that would entice them to want to go to that place/ attraction! (Examples would be a city magnet, the zoo, a famous landmark, a famous restaurant ect.....Think tourist!!!!) 3.Please send out what you would want to receive. Picking up a crappy magnet at Wal-Mart that will fall apart in a month is not what we are looking for here.Please be willing to go out and find a good quality item to send to your partners as they will be doing the same for you! ( Please realize that this means possibly spending about $5-10 USD.....Picking up a free pizza joint magnet is not okay!) HAVE FUN and be creative with it! You must have minimum rating 4.9 to join this swap. You must have completed and been rated for atleast 4 type 3 swaps to participate. I reserve the right to ban for any reason to protect my swap participants! You have two weeks to sign up and a week to send. I will Angel but believe me anyone who fails to meet their end of the swap will be banned in all future swaps!

What about magnets from a recent vacation? No touristy places I frequent in my area.

Hi Latentsmile: I was hoping it would be from your hometown sort of thing. So if you live in no mans land, Ohio you could find just a neat Ohio Magnet or something. If you live in No Mans Land, Sweden you could just find a super neat Swedish magnet.

Per a question from a watcher I would like to clarify that: A magnet from your home country would be alright instead of something with a "city/state" In most of the foreign countries I have been too they rarely have a " Thanks for visiting Malmo, Skane!" I just find magnets that say "SWEDEN!! ..... so if this pertains to you...I hope this is useful/ and slightly liberating!

Americans.....Finding magnets from your hometown is hopefully not terribly difficult. If it is.....(I know I had a really hard time finding any in Arkansas last time I was there) please feel free to just find a magnet from your HOME STATE.

I live in Virginia but just 10 miles outside of DC. There are a lot more DC things than Virginia things here because tourists come to DC more often than Virginia. Is that ok?

Hi Star. Wow D.C. Is an anomaly isn't it. It isn't in a state and it isn't its own state. I really think that in this case it is alright. When you tell people where you live I would imagine D.C. Its how you describe it.
