Description:

A fun twist on dotees-let's make a herbal sachet dotee. Make as usual but instead of stuffing with all fluff, use dried herbs. Suitable dry herbs to use for this are lavender, chamomile, hops, St. Joan's wort, rose petals, mints, lemon balm, damiana; any aromatic herbs. You can make a herb blend or a simple using one herb. You can also use aromatic tea bags or put herb inside small bag inside of dotee and stuff remainder of space with fluff.

Please list any allergies or aroma preferences/dislikes in the comment section.

U.S.A. only due to customs restrictions. No newbies. Sorry, no, no-sends. See my profile for more info for newbies & other swap hostess details.

Swapping is FUN! It is a wonderful way to play with friends online. I am truly inspired to gift and be gifted by the thoughtful, talented & caring people I have met here on swap-bot. Thanks for joining us!

What a neat idea! Perhaps you should ask people to list if they have any allergies. I have none.

I don't know if these will go through customs filled with herbs. And I know some countries won't allow loose tea.

In case we're allowed to list preferences-I don't like mint, rose is so-so. The rest are fine.

Where do you guys get your dried herbs? Just curious.

O.K. I went ahead and made this one a USA only swap due to customs restrictions on sending herbs, seeds, tea and such over the pond. We don't want any dotees living in custom's confiscation! My apologies for the inconvenience! CR, I grow some of my own herbs to dry. We have hops, thyme, rosemary, lavender, sage, lemon balm, honeysuckle...I also buy in bulk from the health food store. If I buy a pound I get it for 10% above wholesale. I make herb & spice blends.

This should be fun!!! I am allergic to Oranges so rind would be bad, and I'm unfond of Spearmint. Other than that, Anything goes! ^_^

I also have some lavender that I'd love to use if the swapbot gods are with me and don't assign me to someone who hates lavender...
