Calling all Smashers/junk journalers.......! There are so many smash book page ideas as well as decorative tips and tricks on Pinterest. I thought it would be really fun to add to our ideas and knowledge of smash books by swapping a board with others. Everyone will have 5 partners and email 1 "smash book" board (using BCC) to their partners with at least 40 (can always be more) pins on it The board can include everything from page ideas, embellishments, cover ideas to just really cool pages you have found on Pinterest. This swap is perfect for newbies who want to get some ratings as well as for the "vets". You must have a well filled out profile to join this swap and I will check the day before the swap begins and ban accordingly. If you have any questions, feel free to ask below or inbox me. hi, i'm a newbie in here, smashbooking and pinterest too.. just wondering how we will be able to send the board to our swap partner? thanks :)

I would guess that we will e-mail our partners the link to the board. Josh, do you want to add to the requirements that everyone is sure to BCC their partners so as to keep e-mail addresses confidential? (It is common practice here, but with a newbie swap...)

As a suggestion for anyone who wants to set up their boards for their partners in a somewhat organized fashion...I've been categorizing my board by putting in the caption such words as TUTORIAL, INSPIRATION, QUOTE LOVE, and so on...so that it is easier to browse if they are looking to learn something new or just looking for a layout idea. Also, I have found many broken links because of this...nothing like an amazing tutorial that no longer exists! :(

I'm sorry......I just assumed everyone would know. My bad. Everyone will use the BCC and email their 5 partners the link to their "smash board" on Pinterest.

I will send a link to my pinterest page... I keep getting a 502 error message every time I try to access my boards to send the link. I have 3 Smash Journal Boards.... Does anyone know how to get around this error? I can see who I am following, the main page where all pins are lumped together and displayed....
