Number of swap partners:4
Description:

This is another in the coin swap series started by @JayBab posted with his permission and suggestion to use his title.

This swap is slightly different from the previous two. This swap will be limited to TWO people from each COUNTRY. This will prevent the possibility of getting more than one swap partner from your own country, but still allow a few more people to participate. I hope that we will get people joining from many countries!

You will send a minimum of 5 coins from your country to your swap partner. Bills/paper money also acceptable if the denomination makes it feasible for you. Expectations are that circulation coins will be swapped, and not mint, or purchased collector items. This means that coins being received are expected to be used, nicked 'n scratched.

If you do get paired with someone from your own country, try for oddities if possible. For example, the US and Canada both have limited themed coins, and state or province coins, respectively. If you have a duplicate coin from another country, that would also be acceptable to send to a same-country partner if they agree.

Please ship coins that are 'fixed'/taped in place, and not loose inside the envelope. Good practice is to declare contents as "used numismatic collectibles w/low value" or "gift-collectibles". Your country of origin may have specifics you may need to consider before sending.

No swappers with unexplained 1's and 3's, and I will be reviewing all profiles and reserve the right to drop anyone that I feel is suspicious or does not meet the requirements. Newbies with well filled out profiles are welcome. I will angel with coins from my country if necessary, but only after you have contacted your swap partner and finally rated them a 1. Remember, international mail can take a number of weeks.

4 partners each, please declare your country of origin after singing-up. i would encourage contacting your swap-partner to 'customize' your swap for hearts. Happy Swapping!

All -- I may not assign partners until morning, depending on how late I get home tonight.

Yikes!! Sending coins (or anything beyond a document) from the USA is quite involved - and expensive. The 1.6 oz letter-sized envelopes would normally be $2.25 US but because they had more than just paper in them, they were more than $5 US plus a form AND the postal worker had to communicate with Homeland Security (via computer) about the contents. Wow!!!
