I love letters that goes on and on:)) This swap is for a really long letter!!! How long is a really long letter, you ask? I'm setting this one for 12 pages :) That's six pages front and back!!! Yes, it may be a challenge, but just think about getting that long letter in the mail!!! It will be worth the time!!! Please do not intentionally write very large just to fill up space quicker!!! I understand some people have big handwriting, and that's okay...but don't abuse it!!! Make your letter fun to receive!! Either decorate the envelope or make your own. Include some neat little things in with your letter such as a small, flat gift( like stickers or bookmarks) or memorabilia from your day, brochures about places or events in your town, postcards with your city on it, something The letter can be typed or handwritten. It's all up to you. Newbies are welcome, but only with a well filled out profile. No recent and unexplained 1s and 3s. If you have any questions please ask.

I have changed my mind about the size of paper after thinking a bit over the past few days. I have change this to only A4 papers and if you use A5 you have to write so it will be the same amount as if it had been A4 paper.

I think everyone should be aware that joining a letter swap is different from joining like an envelope swap. In the last one you just need to pick a few envelopes, pack and send them, but a letter swap, especially of long letters requires that one can spend time writing it and putting passion into it, making it sincere and personal. I'm joining this swap and expecting to this time be a little more luckier than before :)

can someone please explain what sizes the paper needs to be...i am from America and I only know ruled notebook paper or stationary....i am confused :-\

Hi dorkyprincess. For you in the US the size of paper is 8.,3x11,7 inches. Those are similar to our A4 paper.

A4=regular notebook, copy paper. Thank God. When you wikipedia this, the explanation is hard and miserable to understand. Doesn't the whole world use copier paper? If so, can't we just say "regular copy paper size?"

You are right lettergirl. I think the whole world use copier paper so a regular copy paper size will be a understandable word for A4 and inches.

Wikipedia is miserable about this, but I did find one thing: The most frequently used paper size is A4 measuring 210 by 297 millimetres (8.3 in Ã— 11.7 in).

Whenever I get confused about paper size, I always look at the images search tab. There are some neat little diagrams showing the different paper sizes. The visual really helps me.
