Description:

I made this swap last year and am bringing it back as I love little surprises...

How many useful items can you put into an envelope that are profile based? That's what this swap is.

Check out your one partner's profile and put in as many things that they like that you can, and don't go over the cost of one stamp. Remember, it's profile based!

Whichever country, state, etc you are mailing to ..use a single stamp.

**I'd like to add as a note that please don't put in one or two flat items like a couple stickers and be done. If you don't have a weigh scale at home, address the envie to your partner, put things in it that they'd like and get it weighed at the PO. If there's too much, take something out, then close the envelope! We can put a number of things in there before hitting 30 grams. :o)

Australia's post has just risen so they don't have stamp with new cost, have old one plus smaller value. Unless you'd like just the postage label. Just letting you know.

I was thinking the same about UK @Lizard I may have to use a label, but will check out with the PO nearer the time.

im an aussie too and cant guarantee one stamp but i love this swap and want to join :(

KogeLiz 04/25/2013 #

What size envelope?

KogeLiz 04/25/2013 #

Oh. I guess any as long as it's the price of one stamp.

pinkrenegade 04/25/2013 #

Hi everyone! As long as the envelope does not go over 30 grams then it should be the cost of one stamp, however your post office does it. And if your envelope were really big that would make the stamp price go up. Use a regular #10 envie unless you have a spare one from a birthday card, the more square type.

Thank you all for your interest in this!

To all who join ~ first of all, thank you! Due to past experiences in other swaps I feel the need to be more clear here. When sending flat profile based items to your partner, please don't put in just a sheet of stickers (as an example) because we can put a nice variety of things in an envie before reaching 30 grams. If you don't have a weigh scale at home, prepare your envie with the address and put things in it and then have your PO weigh it. If it's over 30 grams, take something out.

here in the netherlands everything above 20 gram is more then one stamp so i think that mabey depends on country,s

pinkrenegade 04/26/2013 #

If that's that's the case then please go by the description of a single stamp.

What a nice idea, will be a fun challenge :)

I'm Russian and "a single stamp" means nothing to me. ;) We don't use single stamps for anything. In international swaps I think envelope weight or size guidelines would be more telling than the amount of stamps. :)

pinkrenegade 06/26/2013 #

The post office here in Canada uses the weight of 30 grams for a single stamp @kafekafe I hope that helps.
