Are we allowed to list preferences of handmade items we would like? pm me to let me know please

is there a price range? like, i wouldn't want to spend lots of time on a nice bag and get a notecard in return.

I also think being able to list the type of things we would rather receive as well as a price range would be good. Since I don't make paper crafts, I too would be slightly upset if I spent alot of time making an awesome altered t-shirt, or a bag and end up with some hand made note cards that were not well designed/crafted.

Hi ! I'm sorry for not answering sooner. Every swap member can make a list of 5 things she would like to recive most. Please remember that not everyone is an expert in every craft style. I for example don't know how to sew, so keep your list made up of a few craft style (sewing, bidding and so on...), so each one can find craft style she is best at. I don't want to make a prise range because it is very difficult to put a prise tag on craft items. I hope that each participant spend time on her partner request so we all will be happy with the things we get (and if not, that is also a part of a swap... just don't give a heart if you think that your partner didn't spent time and love at his work). I hope things are more clearer now.

Hi JL ! U r allowed to list preferences of handmade items you would like, but try to leave some range so your partner will have the possibility to craft by her style. For example, on my list i wrote "Necklace" but didn't choose the colours or the materials. If my partner want to make me really happy, she will look at my profile in order to learn more about me. Hope now things r much clearer and you will join our swap.

I am a paper artist. My plan was to make HM notecards, gift cards, and post cards for my partner. Yes, I do understand not wanting to receive an ATC, or HM notecard or two if you make a bag, or other "large" item, but I always send a "large" package of my creations and usually receive good feedback on my swap packages.

The change to the requirements makes it difficult for me to stay in the swap. Though this often happens, I wish people who ask questions, and want to tighten up requirements would just start their own swaps.

I love cats, so is allways great receive a cat hand made... if not, can be an apron, amigurumi, tote bag / purse, needlebook, or cards personalized (with cats) for my swaps... anything hand made I'll apreciatte!

I do a lot of beading and work with yarn, so I wouldn't need anything like that. I like matchbooks, stuffies, things made with fabric (like mini quilts, but not dotees-I have enough of those), paper mache is cool, tip ins on a theme I like (see profile for that).
