Themed Jelly Roll Swap #1

For those who are not familiar with Jelly Rolls...a Jelly Roll is a 2 1/2 x 43 44" (width of fabric) strip that is cut and ready for sewing. There are many uses for these cute strips of fabric...crafting, quilting,and sewing.

In this swap you will have 2 partners and need 4 -1/4 yards of different fabrics with Christmas colors such as green, red, white, silver, gold..... it does not have to be a Christmas print ...(you need fabric the full width as FQ's will not work).

To begin have 1/4 of a yard of 4 differents fabbies (100% cotton, prints and solids for this swap (does not have to be Christmas print, just Christmas colors).

Cut them into 2 1/2 x 44" (width of fabric) strips. You should get 3 strips out of every 1/4 yard. All together you should have 12strips.

Send 4 different strips to 2 partners and keep 4 for your stash.

So you will have 2 partners and will send each 4 strips of fabic made up of 4 different fabrics and be able to keep 4 for yourself

This swap will be ongoing for 12 months with a different color or theme each month. This month theme will be Christmas!
