Best of 2013!

This is your chance to share some of the highlights of 2013! I like to hear reviews of great stuff so I can put those things on my list of things to see/do/get in the future.

• Send a letter to your partner, which includes at least one paragraph about each of the following:

  • A person who was a positive force in your life in 2013. Friend, family member, professor, spiritual leader, mentor, etc. Think: "Who made an impact on me this year?"
  • A place you visited that was memorable, either for the locale itself or for the event you participated in there. Think: "Where did I go that I will never, ever forget?"
  • A thing that you acquired this year that made your life better. Maybe it was an art tool that helped you improve your projects, or a small appliance that made cooking easier, or a book that helped your organize your life, or just a pair of shoes that felt heavenly. Think: "What was my best purchase of 2013?" Share the news! If you love it, someone else might love it, too.

• Include a small flat item for your partner (i.e., bookmark, ATC, notecard, sheet of stickers, washi tape, etc. Handmade items are okay if they are well made.). Sender's choice, but check your partner's profile for specific dislikes.

I watch the participant list as sign ups progress, but usually don't remove anyone until the day before sign-ups end, or just before assigning partners.
