Description:

I did this swap with @tanjch and had so much fun looking for the word she gave me. So much fun, in fact, that I asked if I could host a public swap of it! She was a good sport and said "yes", so here we are!

Leave a word (or two or three, but don't get too crazy) in the comment section below...any word! A verb, adjective, a place, noun, pronoun, a word that starts with a specific letter, a feeling, a holiday, ANYTHING... In fact, if you can't think of anything, open a book and glance at a page to see a word that pops out at you!

When partners are assigned, you will look in the comments section for your partner's word. Then, pick a postcard that fits the word that your partner chose! Please explain why it fits the word. Also, don't forget the name of the swap and your screenname. ANY type of postcard is acceptable: homemade, zazzle-type, ad card, and store bought!

If you don't have a word below by the sign-up date you can not participate. No unresolved 1's, No 1's or 3's in the last six months, You must have signed in within 2 days of the sign up deadline, as well, and there must be NO late swaps on your dashboard. Newbies are welcome with a filled-out profile!

Happy Swapping!

It says in the swap that ANY kind of postcard is accepted, yet you still want to rate me a three, even when I did sent what is required?? I am very dissapointed!!

AnnieMaxine 01/ 4/2014 #

A postcard and a folded card are two different things.

Mariskasl 01/ 4/2014 #

Your swap states: ANY type of postcard is acceptable

It does not say; No folded postcards!

I am very dissapointed! How can you rate me a 3 when I did send, you did receive , it was a tattoo postcard!!

Not fair AnnieMaxine, I am NOT a flaker!

As I said before, only the touristy cards here can be bought with address lines on the back, the rest always come folded and with envelope! I am doing a resent, will make a 40 minute drive to Amsterdam to see what the stores have there, but I will make sure never to enter a swap you host, because you rate unfairly.

Please note that it will take some time for the postcard to reach the United States....

:(

@Mariskasl there is nothing like folded postcards. There are notecards and other folded cards. I have been to the Netherlands before and there are tones of postcards (with lines or without lines on the back. There are also completely blank ones). This is silly to claim someone is a bad host / swapper because of a mistake you've made.

Also, I did not rate this user a 3, so I have no idea what she is talking about.
