Description:

I love list swaps and for this swap we will list your top 10 in the following categories:

1.Places to go in your city

2.Things on your bucket list

3.Places to eat

4.Animals

5.Flowers/plants

6.Magazines and/or books

7.Ways to relax

8.Random facts about you

9.Celebrity crushes

10.Noises you hear in an average day

It isn't me if there isn't something more. For at least one of those lists, it has to be not on typical (notebook, stationery or computer, post it note, etc) paper. It could be on a cute napkin, candy wrapper, labels, postcard, a menu, etc.

I love list swaps, but I also love adding a twist. Have fun!

Taking a break from vetting the 1st round and realizing I need to be clear about some requirements for joining.

  • No recent negative ratings. All ratings must be responded to. I do know unfair ratings are given, I want to hear your side to make a decision.

  • Filled out profile. Two sentences doesn't work for me.

  • At least 20 ratings for MAILED swaps. Eswaps and profile comment swaps mean nothing to me in terms of what type of swapper you are.

I'm not trying to be harsh, I just want a successful swap.

Hey, Diane. Since it's you, guessing typing is okay for some of it? And can ALL of it be on nontraditional paper?

VivaLaDiane 01/ 8/2014 #

Since it's me ;) it absolutely can be typed. Any or all of it. And yes, all of it can be on nontraditional paper. My last round was ;) Thanks for asking. <3

What do you consider non-traditional paper?

VivaLaDiane 01/14/2014 #

Other non traditional things it could be written on.. coffee filters, duck/deco/washi tape, playing cards, aluminum foil, wax paper... The sky and your imagination is the limit.

I really want to join, but I don't have any crushes. Hmm... I'll just have to find another way of interpreting the word 'crush' so I don't feel like I'm lying!

VivaLaDiane 01/19/2014 #

No crushes? Want some of mine?? :D :D :D

Wingy 01/20/2014 #

crush: maybe someone you admire for their acting skills...not necessarily for their HOTNESS like johnny depp...lollolol i admire drew barrymore...but i wouldnt say i am CRUSHing for her... i admire Anthony Hopkins for the films he has done

Here's some of what I used for the last round. Maybe they will spark some ideas for this one. I made a booklet out of film negatives for TV shows and movies, since you can't really write on them. Used a 'how to grow chives' packet for smells. Used a small clean fries packet from McD for tastes. Used a pretty cardboard ribbon package from Melissa Frances for crafts. For tourist attractions and cities I'd like to visit I used a map from a National Geographic. And last but not least a CD (decorated on one side) for actors, singers and songs.

I used a dvd case for my favorite movies. The front of a brownie box for favorite tastes. Sheet music for my favorite songs. Playing cards for my favorite crafts. For smells I sent individual bagged incense of the smells. For favorite cities, I used a travel ad. For tourist attractions I used a postcard. For favorite singers I used a piece of One Direction duck tape (yes I am 39, but still...). For the tv shows, I used an ad with a television and for favorite actors I used the back of a Powerball ticket.

Your lists all sound so cool! I did the cities on the back of a Where's Waldo PC, movies and actors on a piece of paper I printed a film reel and box of popcorn on the top of, a blank black postcard base for smells, a recipe card for tastes, a piece of stationary for songs and singers and I can't remember the rest! Haha! I tried to put them all on something other than just a piece of paper though.. It was fun.. :)

I interpret the celebrity crush list as perhaps those most popular celebrities that are seen as crushes by a lot of people but not necessarily by me... Cause I really don't have any.. I did when I was younger though! Haha!

For the first round of lists I used:

  • book page for TV shows
  • "To Do" list for musicians
  • piece of card stock for songs
  • page from the Cineplex magazine for actors
  • Instagram photo of "Despicable Me" I took for movies
  • granola bar box for tastes
  • kawaii memo for crafts
  • polka dot napkin for smells
  • empty postage stamp booklet for cities
  • postcard for tourist attractions
VivaLaDiane 01/29/2014 #

I will accept town, state, area, etc.

Note: I had to reroute one set of partners for this swap. @firecracker5 is a flaker so I had her partner @CarmicWords send to send to @Savanna82

This note is for my brain only ;)
