I'll be doing this on a monthly basis :) You will have one partner, and you will stuff a regular sized A2 or larger envelope (AT LEAST 3 OZ) full of goodies. Check out their profile to give you an idea of what to include. DECORATE the envelope bright and happy so it's known this is the happy mail envie. This is to make up for all of the swaps that we have gotten that were not so great. Truly make someones day and give them a VARIETY of goodies. Include at LEAST 5 different items. Ideas: stickers, journal cards, note cards, stationery, book markers, shabby chic items, die cuts, pretty envelopes, ATCs, ATC holders, washi tape, teas, quote cards, nice pens, pencil bag, stamps, rubber cling on stamps, magazine cut outs, scrapbook paper, project life inserts, memo sheets, kawaii goodies, sticker flakes, share some of your person stash of favorites, post cards from your city, coins from other countries, some of your wishes and dreams, a nice letter, lottery scratcher, ribbons/ zig zags, buttons, mixed media art pieces, air mail, ephemera, vintage pieces, the list goes on. This is a HAPPY MAIL DAY, so once again make it scream happiness :) Requirements: 15 completed type 2 or 3 swaps with a rating 4.98

Is an a2 envelope covered with a single stamp? just curious.

I believe it is Liberty, but it would cost more than that anyway since you have to fill it with 3 ounces worth of stuff.

A2 Envelope is 4 3/8" X 5 3/4" - First Class Mail, letter max weight is 3.5 oz = USPS first class mail rate 49 cents.
This size envelope usually used for invitations.
However, swap description says it can be larger, larger than A2!

if the envie is thicker than 1/4", it's goes by large envelope price, regardless of size. if it's thicker than 3/4" or not uniformly thick or cannot bend easily enough, it goes by package rate (which where i'm from, the postal employees almost always charge the package rates...) i just mailed a 4 ounce envie at package rate for just over $3. Just FYI, in case anyone is curious :)

what you are charged at the post office (large envie or parcel) depends on the clerk waiting on you, but I would rather pay a little bit extra up front for parcel, then have it arrive at the destination and be postage due...because a different clerk deems it a parcel when I paid large envie price.

did that make sense??
