Description:

I have just got my hands on a rather large pile of Japanese Ad postcards, so I thought what a cool idea it might be to do a host of ad postcard swaps. Find a nice neat AD postcard showing either a child or children on it, can be illustrated or photographic.

If there is space on the back write a little note to your partner. If not please make sure to at least get the name of the swap in. To be sent naked (not in an envelope).

This is newbie friendly, but rated swappers need at least a 4:90 to join. I do check through before I assign partners just to make sure. Please make sure you have a filled out profile. I will ban you if you cannot even write a few things about yourself. Others have made the effort you can too.

I will angel if necessary.

Happy swapping.

I have one with a baby on it, I'm not sure if that's in the same spirit of "child" category. Please let me know what you think.

Hi @racheledj a baby is fine, I think it will easily fit the category :)

Thank you!

Where do you even acquire ad cards? I only have regular postcards with children on it :(

CindyST 02/18/2014 #

Hi @inkedwithelegance Some people are lucky that they live in big cities where shops etc put out ad cards. I was lucky that I found 700 for sale online at a very very good price :) If you would like some let me know, I will be happy to trade some off.

In Europe I find them on racks at the front of bookstores, media stores, movie theaters, clubs, bars, libraries, and outside art studio/shops, at concerts. In the U.S. I have found them at independent bookstores, local coffee shops, some restaurants and bars, art studio/shops. I don't find as many here in the States as I do in Europe.

I am sorry, I am sending out two days late. I lost a friend last week and I had to find myself again before being able to write cards.
