Description:

Hello everyone!

I hope you'll all find this a fun swap - thanks to Sulieen for the idea.

Using your hand carved rubber stamp, create at least 6 stickers for 1 partner. Make all the stickers about 1 x 1 inch in size or larger. Try to bring some variety to your stickers. If you only have a couple hand carved stamps, change the ink colors or add some additional drawing or use some other creative way to bring variety to the stickers.

This is sender's choice but check your partner's profile for major dislikes. However, if you only carve a certain type of stamp then that's what you'll send. You're not expected to carve brand new stamps for this swap. Also, don't rate someone down if they send you "cute" even though you say you don't like "cute." Please use your judgement and work it out with your partners if you have questions.

This is a fun swap idea that can be developed and expanded later but for now is a chance to have fun and get to know each other. I'd like to do a swap like this monthly or bi-monthly - where we share our stamp images in a fun way.

Decorate your envelope with a preview of stamp-stickers inside.

Be sure to include your name and the name of the swap so your partner can rate you.

Here are some examples:

Monika - in process photo

Monika - photo posted above - final stickers

joleenieweenie - cute stickers

Evil Design - you don't have to do cute for this swap Well, actually that's a little cute.

I meant to say above - you can just use office address or name tag labels. Don't go all crazy buying labels. What I've seen used - as in Monika's example - is just the Avery 5160 address labels and then you cut around the image. Yay!
