This one is for the Pagan, Wiccan, Spiritual, Metaphysical, Yoga-ing, Astrology Loving, Nature Loving, and Gypsy type folks! PART ONE: Start with a journal/notebook (minimum 5x7 inches) and stuff it full! Glue/tape/staple in photos, goodies, and decorations! Think of it as a smashbook + book of shadows + diary. Please decorate the cover if it is plain. Must have at least 30 entries. Ideas to include: ~ Spells, recipes/brews, meditations... ~ Your daily activities ("Today I" or "Dear Diary" type of entries)... ~ Your thoughts about nature, the universe, your beliefs, dreams you had... ~ Your drawings, sketches, collages, artwork... ~ Spiritual-related lyrics, poetry, quotes, short stories... ~ Spiritual-related magazine or newspaper clippings... ~ Your tarot readings or casted spells or experiments... ~ Pockets/envelopes with surprises inside for your partner... ~ Pressed flowers, found feathers, nature related goodies... ~ The possibilities are endless! But try to keep it pagan/spiritual related. PART TWO: We will include a small mojo bag/charm bag/medicine bag/lucky pouch/whatever-you-want-to-call-it! Buy or make a nice pouch and add a few gifts for your partner. Think of things that can go on an altar. Statuettes, amulets, talismans, crystals, small bottles, small candles, an altar cloth, found nature items (acorns, nuts, feathers, bones)... again, the possibilities are endless. Be sure to include a note or make a journal entry explaining the items inside! Don't stress too much over this part, it's meant to be a light-hearted, add-on, fun little surprise for your partner. ---------------------> Now the boring but important stuff <--------------------- ~This journal is by you and about you, but it is TO your partner so it would be nice to read their profile and get to know them (Although you are free to start before partners are assigned). ~ This is a time-intensive swap so please consider carefully before joining. We have exactly 2 months to fill our journal, please don't rush at the last minute! ~Must have minimum of 20 type 3 swaps. I will remove questionable swappers. ~USA only due to postage costs. ~When you mail them please tape/reinforce your package super good. Also use a TRACKING NUMBER. Your completed journal is irreplaceable and this type of swap is difficult to angel! Comment if you have questions or suggestions! It would be nice to share our ideas below as we work on this journal.

@samanthablake I wish there were more Pagan related swaps but they seem to be few and far between. You can search using the link in the top navigation bar titled "Find Swaps". There are Pagan groups but none seem active. There is a Pagan/Wiccan tag game in the forums. That won't help you get swap numbers but you can keep an eye on the members who post there and see if they're in any Pagan swaps.

i just started a smashbook style yoga journal for my new venture into it & love it. i also am going to start journaling my tarot readings. i LOVE this swap & hope i make the cut! i'm slowly learning about Wicca as well so it'll be neat to read if the person who sends to me is knowledgeable in that area! anyway, hah, awesome swap :)

Thanks for the message about this swap and if you do another PLEASE let me know. Im not a big swapper during the summer because I usually have 5-8 kids at a time and don't have the time to invest in a journal to make it to my standards :) I would LOVE to join though!!

I am an officer in this group http://swap-bot.com/group/223d9f2f976103e60125a456ab663821/about it is semi active, meaning it was really active during the winter months but I noticed as spring arrived things started to slow down. There is a bookmark swap up right now. It is a pagan/wiccan group.

Would really love to do this swap, but not at the present time. If there's another one later in the year, perhaps geared around Samhain or Yule, I should be free for that.
