USA ONLY!!!

For this swap you will create a 4 x 6 zentangle for your partner. We will be making works of art worthy of being hung on our walls:) You can leave the zentangle black & white or you can use color. That is entirely up to the sender.

SPECIAL NOTE: Ok, for this work of art, to make it more appealing to be framed and hung, PLEASE carry the design all the way to the edge. DO NOT leave the untangled white edge like we do when creating the typical 3.5 x 3.5 zentangles. Also, you can use a white background or colored. Since we will be framing our works of art, you can use cardboard or heavy watercolor paper if you would like, but it is not mandatory. You can put your design on printer paper (white or colored) or some other type of good quality paper or cardstock, whatever, just so long as it is not just plain old notebook paper. Please just create a work of art that you would be proud to hang on your own wall:)

This swap is open to all members of the Zentangle Zen group as long as you have had no '3' or '1' ratings within the past 6 months and have signed in on swapbot within the past 3 days at the time partners are assigned.

MOST OF ALL......HAVE FUN!!!

Just wondering why this swap for the ZZ group is for a 4 x 6 and the one for the general swap-bot membership is for a 5 x 7?

I made the 2 different sizes rather than having the 2 swaps exactly the same. I have a picture frame that will hold several 4 x 6 pics so I would like to collect enough 4 x 6 zentangles to fill that frame up. Plus I thought 5 x 7 would be a good size to by low priced individual frames for and would look nice hanging on the wall or displayed on a desk or table. Another reason was that I feel like members of the group may be interested in joining this swap also for a different size but more than likely wouldn't be interested in joining 2 swaps that are exactly the same:)

Thanks very much for answering my question :)

Doesn't there need to be some border (1/2" or 1") to be able to frame the picture without covering up some of the art?
